The Weeknd hands down is the greatest of this generation. It’s rare seeing an amazing unique standout artist like this since Michael Jackson. I consider Abel to be a hybrid of Michael Jackson, Prince and George Michael in terms of voice, musicality, influence , storytelling, visuals and impact. So Happy to have seen Abel twice now in Toronto 2022 and in Munich 2023. Looking forward to more shows. His music helped me and many others get through the lowest moments of our lives. He’s an amazing therapist. The amount of growth and success he had is unlike anything we’ve seen in this generation. I’m so lucky to speak to all of you my fellow XOs. We forever support this Goat of an artist. Haven’t seen or heard of an artist in a long time who can drop masterpiece after masterpiece (Art after Art). He never dropped a trash album. i think abel will drop the album on seoptember 7 in sau pulo brazil. i am saying this because if we connect the dots abel has been revelealing it shows so. first has shared on IG the saint paul teaching about having new identity requires killing the old verson of you reborn again. FYI the giant statue at sau polo brazil is the statue of saint paul, so it is perfect place for rebirth. second september 7 is Ethiopian new year, which is different from the rest of the world. new year are favirable to plan for new beginng. the album is coming soon
I think the “wake me up intro” Will be titled “afterlife” and it will be the first song of the album. Kinda like the way Dawn fm played as an intro. Samra (Abel's mom) is entering the house and both Abel and Samra wear Ethiopian dress. Then there's a pictuers on the wall with a silhouette in a bath with some ballons and a murble bust with a cross (Starboy). The window with plants it's a reference of The Birds (from BBTM). After there are other two picuters on the wall with an Hajime Sorayama's drawing of sexy robot (representing the stage of Until Dawn tour) and another picuters with a cross (Starboy). Then, through the clock there are a sequence of Abel's hair through the years (every hairstyle represents an album). Then the church that, in my opinion, is an Ethiopian orthodox cathedral.
