😂😂 fun part is Ashwathama in the text actually thinks Arjuna was the greatest warrior. In fact everyone in the text think that to an extent even Karna thinks that. Ots just tv serials and latest left writers who glorified Karna and tried manipulate.
These TV serials, movies has ruined our history, bcoz of these people, these things, new generation thinks Karna as most powerful person with positive shades & Arjun as less powerful with negative shades.
Imagining Arjuna with negative shades is equivalent to doubting Sri Krishna 🙏🏼

I totally agree that karna was a grey shaded character but in kalki movie he is shown less powerful and I personally think that we should become the devotees of lord krishna ,not arjuna or karna because these warriors are flawed ,nothing else ,these characters are manifestation of ourselves ,our ego ,our lust and madhav nothing said like that ,we should become like madhava or lord ram not like these flawed warriors.

I agree. He had his flaws alright, but it cannot take away the fact that he was a great warrior and selfless soul when it comes to giving. He had to lose to Arjun for his mistakes and sins. No doubt about that. As far as who was a superior archer, people can fight over it forever, but I would say Arjun killed Karna for he was on the wrong side of history. Had Karna not made those mistakes and not been cursed, things would have been more balanced between the two.

It took our gurus ( pravachanakarthas ) 40 years to clear the effect of that negative angle shown by SrNTR who came under communist influence at that time .
By making Prabhas as Karna Nag Ashwin will make those ideas alive again and it’s not easy to convince all minds .
He should know how he is portraying things .
But I think the movie is from the perspective of Ashwatthama.

It is written - Arjuna learnt only 80% of what Ashwathama learnt .
Do you even know who Krishna Arjuna is reincarnation of ( apart from Krishna vishnavamsa and Arjuna Indra amsa) they have other angle and it's written in Aadiparvam .do read Aadiparvam there's much more before Shantanu enters .

KRISHNA HIMSELF HAS STATED: Bhisma, Drona, Karna are of impeccable character, tejas & power but they were vadh coz:
1- Bhishma valued his own promises / himself above Dharma, what is right
2- Drona valued his family, his son above Dharma, what is right
3- Karna valued his friend above Dharma, what is right.
Nope Karna actually values his rivalry above his friendship. Read the text. Karna was the bad company for Duryodhana. Bhishma told dhritrashtra time and again to keep him away from karna. If you read the text. Karna was the main instigator of the war. He was the one who actually ordered droupdi to be disrobed. He was the one who instigated duryodhan to go to jungle where pandavs were staying.

I have read KMG Mahabharata(English version of the Sanskrit Mahabharata) what came to realise that Karna indeed was a very powerful warrior but not the best, if compared to Aswatthama they could be a tie with Karna slightly superior in physical strength and archery(concluded from his feat of defeating Jarasandh after several days of fighting and defeating almost every king of then Bharata during his Digvijaya, also defeating Yudhisthira, Nakula, Sahadeva with little to no effort and defeating Bhima two times one time after a gruesome fight while also facing defeat by Bhima two-three times) but when it comes to comparison with Arjuna it’s true that he was inferior then Arjuna in Advanced Archery not only him but warriors like Bhishma and Drona also because when it comes to pure Archery Arjuna was just something else, except from the Tridev no one was able to defeat him in Archery even normal Gods like Indra dev or Agni dev were unable to defeat him, only one person in mortal form was his competitor and had the potential to surpass him that was Eklavya but Guru Drona very cunningly removed that obstacle, now coming to Karna despite his feats he had flaws in his nature, he was very insecured and jealous character, and had the nature of boasting himself here and there(it’s maybe because he had Kshatriya blood and Kshatriyas had the nature of boasting but because Karna was considered as a Suta Guy by everyone this nature of him made him a irritating character in front of others ) from his childhood he was jealous of Arjuna, he was a disciple of Guru Drona but when Drona refused to teach him Superior Divine weapons he left his Gurukul(it’s because he promised Arjuna to make him the best only that’s why no other disciple of him obtained divine weapons just basic Warfare skills and using of different types of weapons only out of his love for his own son he taught Aswatthama few divine weapons and how to summon Brahm Sira but not to withdraw it that’s also the reason why Bhimasena later went to Balarama and learnt advanced Mace fighting and became a very powerful warrior Dronacharya was partial for Arjuna)then Karna went to Lord Parshurama and managed to learn all divine weapons but at the sake of curse by Parshurama but got the divine Viyaya Dhanush which was his only protecter against his curses, after coming back to Duryodhana he didn’t level up himself just kept on practising what he has learnt where as Arjuna kept on making himself better and surpassed Karna in Archery by a little and obtained more divine weapons compared to Karna, all his life Karna had a deep jealousy towards Arjuna that’s why when Krishna and Kunti both revealed to him about his birth and true identity his hatred towards the Pandavas completely disappeared but his competition with Arjuna didn’t went from his mind that’s why he took oath not to kill 4 Pandavas but with Arjuna either him or Arjuna will live………..people tag Karna as a Villian because of his negative attitude towards the Pandavas through his life and participating in evil plots against Pandavas made by Shakuni but just consider in his place, he had Kshatriya blood in him and had divine Kavach-kundal which he had no idea where he got from, he had super-human abilities from birth and tried to showcase that but always considered by everyone as a Suta guy not a Kshatriya and everyone expected him to behave like a guy from the Suta caste(Suta was not low caste but well-mannered, rich in arts and literature and that boasting arrogant nature suited the Kshatriyas which he was but no one knew even he himself didn’t knew) many people compare him with Krishna like Krishna also had many troubles in his life but still chooses the side of Dharma but Krishna was the supreme lord he knew what was happening around him so no one can expect that he would choose Adharma but Karna was no God he was the son of God born in mortal form, just a guy with godly super-human abilities but still human from mind…

3 कर्ण एक महावीर दानवीर राजा था । सबको पता था कि कर्ण को कवश कुंडल के साथ हराना नामुंकिन है । इसलिए श्री कृष्ण ना जी ने गरीब और सामान्य मनुष्य का रूप लिया । कर्ण के पास से कवश कुंडल मांगा । और कर्ण ने हस्ते हस्ते दे दिया। एशेके कारण कर्ण को लोग ज्यादा पसंद करते है
4 अर्जुन ने कर्ण को मारा था तब अर्जुन को भी अपशोस हो रहा था की उसने एक महान योद्धा को मारा।

Maharathi Karn could have stopped Dushshashan from disrobing Draupadi very easily. But Karn wanted to settle scores with Draupadi because she rejected him in the Swayamvara due to his caste.
Maharathi Karn always wanted to prove himself best and thus was always in competition mode, specially with Arjun.
A man should always hold his patience for women even he gets insulted by woman.

Maharathi Abhimanyu was killed by many Maharathis, not only by Karn.

Maharathi Karn was definitely a superior warrior because Arjun had to take the help from Sri KRISHNA to slay Karn.
Arjun & Karn final battle was a stalemate.
Arjun had the advantage as Sri KRISHNA was at his side.
Karn unfortunately was at the side of injustice.
Duryodhan and Shakuni took advantage of Karn's emotion, passion to prove himself better than Arjun and of Karn's situations.
In simple terms, Karn's ambition to prove himself more superior than Arjun was wrongly fueled by Duryodhan and Shakuni.
Karn was in the wrong side in the eyes of dharma, and therefore was tricked to death.
When Karn was killed by Anjalika arrow, Karn had no weapon in his hand.
In terms of football, Arjun scored a goal when no one was guarding the goal post.
That goal has no meaning.
Similarly, Karn did not loose the battle, he was tricked to death by Sri KRISHNA.
Besides, when Karn deployed the Nagastra, Sri KRISHNA helped Arjun to survive. If Sri KRISHNA was not present as a Saarthi of Arjun then, any other charioteer could not save Arjun from Nagastra shot by Karn.
Karn was definitely superior to Arjun.
Arjun could not kill Karn when he was wielding Vijaya Dhanush.
It was only when Karn put down Vijaya dhanush and came down from his chariot to pull out the wheels of his chariot from earth, then only Arjun was able to kill Karn.
Karn was superior to Arjun, as Abhimanyu was superior to Karn.
Always remember, when a warrior has to be killed when he is without any weapon, then that warrior is definitely much superior than his opponent

Both the versions of karna that you have discussed - Ved Vyas’ version and Kalki movie’s version are mythology. Please don’t call them as history just out of religious bias. There is no imperical proof for either of those versions. So all these characters - karna, ashwathama etc should be considered as mythology/ fiction.
