Interesting that you're new to KISS, seeing that John 5 frame back there. John 5 is a HUGE KISS fan and is a relentless collector! Looking forward to more KISS reactions! 🤘
As a long time KISS fan I just want to say this.......I am beginning to see a lot of these KISS reactions, and its great that KISS is being exposed to a new generation, but do yourselves a favor, pull up and watch live stuff from 1981 and before.....preferably stuff from the 70's. The guys playing drums and lead guitar are not original members but wear the same make-up as the original guys. Also the earlier versions they are much younger....for what its worth.
You have no idea how huge they were. They filled up stadiums and had their own comic books with their real blood in it. They had more orgies than any other band. One show in Brazil they played to 200,000.
You now have been converted! Keep watching and reacting to MORE KISS,especially live stuff from the 70's specifically 1975-1978 when they were at their peak!
You Wanted the BEST... You Got the BEST... The HOTTEST Band in the WORLD... *KISS* !!! ...Here's a REACT REQUEST --> *"I* *Love* *It* *Loud"* *(Official* *Music* *Video)* ...Rock On, brother 🤟
As a kid in the 70's listening to the radio is all we had no MTV back then and rarely did i ever hear Kiss on the radio most rock stations refused to play there music only consistent song i heard was Dr Love & maybe Christine Sixteen
I've seen kiss 34 times in 8 countries. This is a tame performance. Drc is good. Check out I was made for loving you, love gun, rock n roll all night strtter, duece for popular songs. Check out dirty living, thrills in the night, rock n roll hell for some deeper cuts.
I wonder if you'd be interested in checking out some more country music. "Brooks & Dunn - Only In America (Official Video)" This is Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn they both are vocalists and songwriters. The duo was founded in 1990 they both had very successful solo careers, but they really exploded when they came together. I was not that into this band growing up. But they did have a large following. Nice reaction👍
they have made it for over 50 years, in a non-forgiving industry, and made millions of record sales, and these guys had to beat the woman off of them back in the day, ha. They wrote this song for young fan that was killed in his car on the way to see them in concert in Detroit
Yeah, they were huge back then. They were very secretive and wouldn't be publicly seen without their makeup..most people had no idea what they really looked like, lol. And Gene Simmons is very resourceful, a business person, so he saw something special in Van Halen and signed them, paid for some demo tracks for them. Those songs are on UA-cam, I believe, They ended up getting attention from their future record company and Gene let them go. Their biggest song is Rock n Roll All Night..a total rock anthem, you may have heard it on some show/movie.
@@DatWay520 It just popped in my head...if you've never heard Kickstart My Heart by Motley Crue, I think it would blow your mind..it's really hard. The official video adds to the energy. Nikki Sixx wrote it about when he OD'd and his heart stopped, so the EMTs had to inject a big needle w/meds to kickstart his heart again.. Needless to say they were wild back in the 80s. I lived in LA back then and it was as fun as it looks haha. Used to see David Lee Roth out a lot, and my friend lived in his building, so I was in the elevator with him once. Wild. Steven Tyler and Slash at that club too. Good times!
You should checkout a live version of God Of Thunder. And then you should watch Lordi performing Hard Rock Hallelujah at the Eurovision Song Contest (which they won.)
They emphasize showmanship, but they're much more. If you do another Kiss song, listen to "Watching You," or "Cold Gin." Gene Simmons is on vocals, which I prefer to Paul's.
You need to go way back to where it all began. A good place to start is with "The Midnight Special" gig where they play Deuce, She and Black Diamond. Start from the early 70's and work your way through.
Ok first of all, u got the time frame when all the original members weren't there...u need to go back to the 70s versions of this song...no disrespect to their replacements...I love Kiss no matter what, but I prefer the originals...just saying...I saw the reunion tour and it was just incredible...I wish I could of seen them in the 70s cause I loved them then, but I was only 8...lol
If this is really ur first time listening to a Kiss song, someone gave you really bad advice on how to experience Kiss for the first time. A live version of Detroit Rock City when they're in their 70's is not the way to go. Someone gave u really bad advice. How bout u just listen to the iconic classic 70's original first. smh
They weren't in their 70s in 2006. And a reaction vid is better if it's alive performance vid instead of an album track and just staring at the album cover
@@michaelracicot233 Respectfully disagree as a Kiss fan. 1. This is not one of their better live performances of this song or any song of theirs. 2. Live versions are not always better than the studio versions. Many bands/artists are not great live performers while their songs can be great. Original studio versions are they way bands/artists intended for people to first hear their song. Then hopefully they can perform it well live afterwards. On my respectful opinion.
@@madicelander I agree with you. This was a good performance, but better ones are out there. But what I meant earlier is that reactions are more interesting to watch if they're reacting to a live performance visual, as opposed to just audio. Especially if they're not familiar with the band .
Yeah, you did a little research, and then you turned around and reacted to a video that wasn't the original 4 members that originally recorded the song. A big mistake for any KISS fan
Lovley to see that "I was made for loving you" didnt show up. This is real Kiss ❤❤❤
Imma 55 year old KISS fan who absolutely loved your reaction!!! Great job my young brother!!🤘🔥🔥🔥🤘💯
They've always given the most powerful, theatrical, bombastic show in rock and roll......every single time.

Fun fact, this song is based on a true story, one of their fans died on the way to see them and they made it in his memory
False
Never happened

I love KISS so much!! They’re definitely one of my favourite bands! Glad you enjoyed their music 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼

FYI... They are STILL filling stadiums WORLDWIDE !!! 🤟
Kiss was the BIGGEST, most BAD-ASS band of the 70's!!!
Kiss forever !!!
Gotta go down the kiss rabbit hole! Anything from their first 3 albums.
in 2019 they started there farewell tour and still playing with there biggest shows ever
kiss = dna metal , tnks from brazil
Good reaction bro they are awesome 👍 live

Listen to them is 1975-1978
Absolutely.. definitely, I was a teen during that time all I can say is what a cool awesome time it was back then.
I just saw them last night, they still put on a great show!

Cleveland show in October. Check them out. I'll be there.
The make-up tutorial video, basically shows Gene applying his Demon persona make-up on his daughter, Sophie

Great classic KISS song, my favorite band. Although this isn't the original line up...still good though.

Man you need to play all 80s & early 90s music. This music that plays in the 2022 does not compare to the music back then..
Check out KISS unplugged - " I still love you" Paul Stanley vocals are great
