The continent will never be a unitary state.
Prof PLO would literally have to request that all of the current stooges of the NWO amongst the leadership first resign. They could not remain with the continent moving forward.
Some countries prefer to stand alone than to lay down together in chains.
No need for their self determination to be in any way obstructed by those who are comfortable in their chains.

Thanks so much for your presentation, so erudite, so eloquently expressed, you are true son of Africa and doing a great job in enlightening us, thanks.
Africa, as you have expressed, needs to be a confederacy in order to find its feet in the current world order. This I am afraid can only be possible if our self interested leaders would learn to cast aside their selfishness for the overall good of the (continent) country. Even with diversity of cultures, religion, ethnicity, etc, A borderless and unified Africa will fare well and rank more equal if not better if we unite. 🤙🏾

"Divide and conquer", it is the oldest strategy in the book. Everyone knows that.
"Strength in numbers" is the only strategy to fight against being conquered by the Anglo Saxon west that wants all your African nations' wealth for itself. Praying God will give Africans the courage and spirit to
rise up all together, in unity and strength, to reclaim all that belongs to Africa!

Mousa Faki should have been dethroned ages ago, it's such who have held our liberation back. Please let us not copy and paste any USA, European or any nations governing systems. We are African and we must be governed by African policies and laws. We can see that nothing good but everything wicked, evil and corrupt comes out of these nations.

Yes the OAU decided to honour the boundaries drawn by the Europeans but ignored Eritreans plea when Ethiopia annexed Eritrea that used to be an Italian colony. Subsequently Eritreans decided to fight militarily against Ethiopian military occupation. This war of independence dragged on for 40 years until Eritrea gained its independence by force then held a referendum to legalise the independence in 1993. The Western Sahara is still under occupation by Morocco when it should have been given it’s independence. Another country was Namibia which was annexed by a South Africa.
So Professor if you are going to give a lecture on history please avoid selective memory.

    African Unity on what basis?
Nkurumah was right to pursue unity but Nerere and Kenyatta and Gemal of Egypt were against unity. Haileselase of Ethiopia was with neither of the groups and used his position to host a meeting for the two groups and selfishly offered Addis to be the host of OAU.
The professor has selective memory. I actually read an article to this effect written by Abdurhuman Mahmud Babu who travelled with Nerere to these meetings to n his capacity as a minister of Tanzania. I read the article in 1986

Participation in and non participation in federalisation is a regional and local choice, which should be acknowledged And not enforced as we currently see in the fragmentation of the EU. Pan Africanism should avoid enforcement through non sovereign global entities, such as WEF, but be Canton based on population groups and on a one to one representation within in its hierarchies, to a body which does not have a premier, but which is a mechanism or instrument of governing by the people, as represented - a democracy is fictitious if it it materialised through the power of quantitative choice - rather than people-as- grouped choice over their participation - thus accommodating its diverse aspirations and it aspirational outcomes within its own local or regional grouping and still represented in its governmental Pan African hierarchies - from local group community to region to country to Pan African quorum. Finance, Law and security should also be implemented from the community to the local to the region to the country to the Pan African Quorum. The continuity of aspiration starts with the elders and should assimilate in the youth, thus perpetuating each generation from its community to its local, regional ,, country and Pan African Quorum. Here lies the rub - what iscurrently being perpetuated between the elderly and the young with Africa?

      Sounds Suisse federation .
But i don't believe in a Mega state Africa . I believe in solidarity within Africa . A trade with neighbours first than outside countries . O believe in a Tribunal of African countries where terrotorial disputes can be settled by their own representatives .
And the abolishment of every colonial language as official but as working languages .

Professor Lumumba’s thoughts and ideas are greatly appreciated. I agree with everything except for when he said its too early to tell if The African union is working. We all know Faki who ran for unopposed for his position there is doing Frances’ bidding so that organization needs to be overhauled. Too early to tell is like telling us “I’m shocked there’s gambling going on here.” Let’s not overlook the sad situation at the AU. Let’s Just admit it’s not working.

That’s because pontification and intellectualization isn’t an actual solution to genuine concerns. He never actually acknowledges specific problems that plague each nation and cause tribal tensions, and he definitely doesn’t provide solutions for each problem. He just says “unity and peace is good” and excepts these problems to magically fix themselves.

I have a problem with the likes of Professor Lumumba who whether we like it or not still carry the colonialist narrative despite his African stance. If we're going to talk about the real leaders that came out of Africa and stood against colonialism then we cannot be selective and we cannot favour certain leaders over other leaders when we know that for sure all have contributed to the advancement of Africa from the colonial yoke.
One cannot be a true Pan-Africanist when you leave out leaders like Idi Amin Dada, " The Conqueror of the British Empire " Who physically as well as diplomatically threw out the colonialists and said Africa for Africans, and because of Western propaganda, the likes of professor Lumumba, still refuse to mention his name. Yet in Uganda, Idi Amin Dada, not only stood up for the Africans and threw out the imperialists and spoke out clearly against colonialists and even has a street called Lumumba after Patrice Lumumba of Congo.
It is this type of dishonesty of the likes of Professor Lumumba that makes some of us distrust his message. Idi Amin Dada was ahead of his time, Here is a man Professor Lumumba, who praises people like Julius Nyerere, who was not only in bed with the colonialists but was a puppet of the imperialists, who hand in hand together with a colonialist and imperialist organized and manufactured the Coup D'tat against Idi Amin Dada of Uganda in 1979.
Yet It was Idi Amin Dada, who single-handedly physically chased all the imperialists as well as the agents of colonialism and imperialists, who crippled the economy of Uganda and mistreated the people of Uganda. These were the Indians who were dumped into Uganda by their colonial masters the British as well as the British and other Westerners who were hell-bent on maintaining the status quo of imperialism and colonialism. Idi Amin Dada chased these parasites out of the country and reinstated the land back to the true indigenous people of the nation.
I'm there for sorry to say that the likes of Professor Lumumba are sometimes full of thin air nothing but mere speeches. Yet have the nerve to discredit two sons of the soil and leader of modern emancipation of Africa like our beloved Idi Amin Dada, who to this day is still being painted by the likes of Professor Lumumba in the same colour that the colonialists in the imperialists have propagated.
Sometimes it's wise to watch out for the snakes in the grass even if you don't think there's any roaming around. However, I have to say at least the new generation of Africans such as myself, and those who have taken it upon themselves to do research know better and the evidence is pretty clear when each and every year the Ugandan people vote for Idi Amin Dada as the most patriotic and best leader Uganda has ever had.
If we're going to celebrate our pan-African leaders then let's be honest about it and do it with honesty and integrity, let's not mambo jumbo around such as done by this fellow. Professor Lumumba. My $0.02. Peace and prosperity to Africa and all its sons and daughters across the world.

@@may_beeharuno2195 if you mean the past then you're wrong. What is now called Africa had many great and small kingdoms that were continually at war. Small Kingdoms would grow and large ones contract due to wars of expansions. Zulus decimated tribes, absorbed some annihilated others, driving towards the tip of South Africa. Songhai, Assante, Kanem Burno , Oyo, Benin empires weren't made up of one peoples they were made up of many different conquered peoples.
When you hear black people talk about how colonial powers drew lines all over Africa and created nations that weren't meant to be, separating brothers and so on; well, the consiqunces isnt that simple (i.e. exclusive). I mean in the sense that the kingdoms and empires that existed in Africa before the Europeans came similarly were nations that often weren't meant to be and also did separate brothers from brothers and all that. If the Europeans hadn't come to Africa the wars of expansion and conquest would have continued and maybe we wouldn't be talking of Asante, Kenem Burno, Mali, Benin , Zulu, Oyo empires today but other empires that may have risen on the ashes of the ones I've just mentioned.
