- Ugh, a 98% miss. I might be used to enemies popping up whenever I see stair tiles, so the lack of reinforcements kinda threw me off here, not complaining though.
There's really nothing much to say here, only thing to do here is recruit Misha and have her walk around the map to open doors/chests and also to steal stuff, meaning she has a lot to do here if you want the items.
Everything else is the usual, just get Mitch off the throne and seize it. He's not that tough given that he wields a melee weapon by default.

Smash theme at 0:12 is incredible lol, absolutely impeccable choice
iirc, The Cunning skill in skillsystems is a display only skill, it has no actual effects. That's why the thief will have steal too. There are ways to re-enable vanilla steal at least using buildfiles, which would negate the need to see both Cunning and steal on a unit.
It should also be important to mention that Justice and Pride uses an older version of Skillsystems (Loyalty skill is bugged among some other skills, no Strength/Magic split yet), hence why cunning is a thing, as it is removed in newer versions of Skillsystems (alongside several display only or bugged skills like Nice Thighs, Nice Personality, Trace and so on)
I'm glad that this is another rom where supports grow faster than my brother during his growth spurt, but it's kinda funny how the A support is supposed to feel like they've been at this war for months when it technically hasn't become a war yet because the uprising began a few days ago, perhaps around a week :^
Gonna leave that Nergal Moment aside to again state that I have high hopes for our Villager, deeply cursed though his Speed growth has been
FE9 gating supports for x amount of chapters was one of the best things they could've done because it allows them to reflect on story events more directly instead of getting odd cases like that or worse...whatever happened in COTBK where characters just randomly aged a couple decades.
Don't you just love when the growth unit doesn't grow?

@@nerothewateruser8030 there's a timeskip in COTBK from chapter 18 and on, but if you get an A-support beforehand, you'll get spoiled like Siaoz did and reacted to (devs says to wait until after the timeskip to do the convos).
That romhack is very...ambitious? Lots of mechanically interesting traits/eventing, but lots of player hostile design, odd writing and the numerous amount of bugs

There's a timeskip during ch18, but the A supports spoil that if you get them beforehand (dev says to wait until the timeskip to activate them)

57:29 pretty much my thoughts as well, just felt like an excuse to showoff the Alolan Black Knight to party. Nergal moment.
The opening with the SSBB theme gives me TLP vibes, don't know why, but it's welcome.
That 98% miss lol, FE6 and XCOM have taught me that "if it's not 100%, ITS NOT 100%" and then Gaiden (ugh, 🤢), Thracia and ESPECIALLY BERWICK SAGA taught me more.
The boss being promoted is a cool feature.
That said their stats are basicly if they promoted in lv10 with 5 of their lv up being +1 hp
Plot twist: the actual difficulty from this chapter is the player believing there are reinforcements coming, which the dev did on purpose for a few laughs.

Remember, you must train Aderyn more exp and reach level up to 20 until reach Chapter 15. She will get promoted as Heaven Seal.
... lemme guess, the Onyx Dragoon is Aderyn's brother who allegedly died in the prologue...

In-universe, I guess it serves as a emotional factor for Adrian (I have no idea how to spell her name), her dad and Donovan, but you have to make the player care too; otherwise you just get another Fado/Makoto instead of someone like...the fe4 parents, Hector (tbf FE7 helps a lot on that front) or even Peirhok from the previous playthrough
57:15 - 57:20 and such blind cynicism (and stupidity, and smugness and all that). Sure, she showed off that BK strenght by making him finish off this chapter's boss, but not only was he already defeated, he was also an enemy. And despite threathening the party, she actually did nothing to stop them at once. Well, that definitely won't bite her in the ass, that's for sure.
I would've probably speculate that Caelia thinks that she is untouchable just because she killed Aderyn's brother and traumatized Donovan in the prologue into not taking any action against her.
A display of power should be enough to destroy their spirits is what she is probably thinking right now.
Donovan didn't know who Caelia is as he ran off in the prologue. When he reported to the King, he said "Some mage" so he doesn't know who the mage is. He just knows their gender.
caelia was there with the monsters before donovan ran off, they had a telepathic chat too, so unless she changed her voice or something, there's no way he would forget her voice from such an incident.
@marcosleong4613 You need to remember that it has also been 11 years since that tragedy. It would be hard for someone to remember a voice that they heard back then.
While yes, she's literally standing with the monsters, I believe the creator didn't know how to make a person from offscreen to walk in screen and perform a cutscene battle. Which is why they put her there talking telepathically. Also, when someone talk to someone using telepathy, they're likely offscreen more than on screen
@@bluewilliam7203 it's been almost 30 years since i last watched power rangers as a kid and i still remember the theme with more than half the lyrics. a tragedy has much greater impact than a tv show, there's no way donovan would forget such her voice unless caelia's voice changed.
@marcosleong4613 That's the thing. You have watched the Power Rangers as a kid. You're for sure to remember most of the lyrics since you've watched the show. But for Donovan, he did hear her voice from telepathically, assuming she did change her voice. Why didn't he point it out back then? The same black text box is used here and back then. He would've known who she was immediately, but he doesn't. If she did change her voice, she wouldn't need to change her voice back then and when she appears here just to keep the hidden fact that she was the one who killed the prince. Regardless of how bad the tragedy was, it wouldn't be possible to remember the voices of those involved no matter how big or small it is. Unless you're Dimitri and have gone insane
@@bluewilliam7203 no way he's gonna forget caelia's voice unless her voice changes. either donovan has a weak memory or the writing has continuity issues.
that is why from what i said, i might not remember all the lyrics from the power rangers theme, but i sure do remember the singer's voice even if it's just a 3 second clip.
