I really appreciate Amy’s hack to close your eyes on millennium falcon when it goes into hyperdrive. We’ve been talking about doing this during the end of the night to just experience walking through the queue and then skipping the ride. Maybe we’ll actually go on board if we don’t have to be pilots.! Also reinforced that Roger rabbit is not for me though my daughter wants to ride it.
Could not agree more on Roger Rabbit for different reasons! I rode it my first time with absolutely no one else in line and no one throughout the ride. It was extremely eerie and the ride does NOT feel whimsical when you’re alone!
That ride gave me a migraine like headache when I was a teen. The turns, the noises and it’s an obnoxiously loud. I never went on it again. I am surprised it’s still in Toon Town.
I’m surprised Casey Jr and the Carousel didn’t make the list. I don’t have anything against them specifically but both are just what you could find at any smaller park.
Most of the rides on the list have a glaring fault. Be it tight spaces, smelly fumes, they’re uncomfortable to ride in, or they make you sick. While neither of those rides are anything special, there’s nothing wrong with them either.
I can agree with everything EXCEPT Pooh and Roger Rabbit, but that’s only for nostalgic reasons. I actually started crying the second I could hear the Pooh theme song after not being at the parks since I was a child 🥹 Roger Rabbit is one of my favorite movies and I’m so glad they didn’t get rid of it when Toontown was redone! And yes, Finding Nemo has got to go! Last time I rode I was somehow separated from my sister and forced to sit by a sweaty man the entire time 🫣
Matterhorn is my favorite ride at Disneyland. The roughness adds to the craziness. The submarines are another favorite of mine. Such a unique experience.
Fun list 10. Did this ride for the first time with two kids this past spring break (the long lines forced us into it), it was fairly fun, but I like canoeing and kayaking. But I enjoy the challenge of single-handedly powering the ride, while children ahead and behind me attempt to hit my paddle on each stroke. A good cast member can make the ride more enjoyable and downright hilarious. 9. Rode this for the first time, again Spring Break. My wife and I were wondering if we were having contact high from someone hotboxing in a local parking lot. This ride is hilarious, and the short line is a win. I wouldn't wait more than 15 minutes for this though 8. Maybe I love this because I always get to be the pilot. The interactivity makes it a better "RIDE" than RotR in my book, but it's hard to beat the lead-up to the actual RotR ride. 7. Don't pull on the wheel too hard and like dancers, find a spot on the horizon to focus on. 6. I wish it were a shorter ride after all, a shorter ride... after all. if it were a shorter ride, after all, it'd be a short, short ride. 5. Good for kids, 🤮 for adults 4. Good for little kids, sore butt for adults. The line is deceptively long since the ride has terrible throughput. 3. The line for Dumbo is horrendous. This is slightly less awful. 2. Kids love it, and time if after lunch for a well-needed siesta. 1. It really has to go. Even adults can't steer the cars, and guaranteed to induce asthma in otherwise healthy people.
Matterhorn . the left side coasters are really bumpy and can hurt your back , however the right side coasters are smoother and easy on the back. I don’t know why that is.
Davy Crockett's canoes looks interesting right but but be prepared to have your arms tired out and my brother ruled that and her arm felt like we are going to fall off doing all that paddling that would be all right I would pass up if I wanted to do some canoeing I'll go camping out in the woods somewhere
It is not THAT bad. There’s 16 people rowing. Much better than doing all the work yourself. And it’s still a fun experience overall worth doing at least once.
Autopia is my least favorite ride. Loved it as a kid, because what kid doesn’t dream of driving someday? But now as an adult and after driving for 2 hours or more from San Diego the last thing I want to do at Disneyland is get on a ride where I gotta drive some more. I’m sure Autopia’s gonna get bumped to number 2 for me as soon as tiana’s garbage opens
I used to do drops and vision and spinning rides at Disneyland and I miss it. Had a bad car accident 20 years ago and ended up having head trama throwing my equal Librium off. I so miss all the fun rides thanks for today’s video.
I have appreciation for smugglers run. For a while my youngest was not 40" tall but just tall enough for smugglers. I enjoy that ride primarily because he loved it so much. So that one could never ever make my worst ride list!
Obscure video request but could you do a ride guide on which rides you can ride with three people (2 adults 1 Kid) and which are only 2. For us odd amount families!
A lot of the two person rides can accommodate 3 if the child is small. Otherwise, there are very few that seat three normally. Radiator Springs Racers and Matterhorn Mountain are the only 3-seater specifics. But there’s a lot of rides that accommodate much more than 3. All the boat rides, for instance, can seat whole families and then some.

I am SO happy Roger rabbit made the list! That was my least favorite ride as a kid and I still refuse to ride it today as an adult almost 30 years later
So funny! I rope dropped Rise with our family and group of 7 and it was super fast, on spring break. Wed like smugglers run too, star tours is also fun! It's ok, everyone has their things. Storybook is the BEST, ESPECIALLY at night. We go on its a small world every time, once, its TRADITION, lol. Last time the boat had a ton of water and it was leaning hard to the left, lol we had a great laugh!
Rides I wouldn’t be the least bit sad if DL replaced (bc we never ever ride them): Autopia, Nemo, Roger Rabbit, Astro Obiter, Tea Cups, Small World (but I know some people would throw a fit, like my mom). I also wish they would update Matterhorn to be smoother. That’s really my only complaint. And maybe just a touch lower in Yeti volume 😂. Smugglers Run was cool to go on once (we were pilots), but I don’t have a strong desire to ride it again. I like Star Tours, but kinda wish they’d update it as well.
Never been on the canoes, Winnie the Pooh, & Roger Rabbit. Want to ride on all 3 next time. It's A Small World is nostalgic and would like to see the holiday overlay. Storybook Land boats are a much needed relaxing ride.
Excellent video as always! If I was to pick the worst dark ride it would be Pinocchio and not Winnie the Pooh - so it’s interesting that the poll went that way. I’m happy to see Small World on the list - with the exception that their Christmas overlay is really festive so we like it a lot then. 😂
I didn’t see anyone mention Pinocchio. Either in my post or in my online Reddit research. But a Winnie the Pooh got mentioned a few times. There was no reasoning listed though. So it’s hard to say why. I think Pinocchio is just nostalgic to a lot of people.
The Astro Orbitor is a definite downgrade from the old Rocket Jets. The location alone of the Rocket Jets was worth the ride. This new location seems like they just threw it in where they could.
I’ve ridden Astro Orbiter at WDW atop the People Mover and it is nice higher up, but getting up there is annoying because of the limits of the elevator only access. I don’t mind Astor Orbitor where it is in Disneyland and feel ready for those construction walls to come down so I can once again look at the entrance to Tomorrowland without seeing an eyesore. It’s a nice icon for the land.
I will say, when I went to Disneyland in January, it was hotter than I expected, and Small World has the *best* air conditioning. I don't like the ride, but it was a place to sit and cool off.
The fact that you needed AC in January tells you how weird our weather has been this year. 🤣 January and February are typically highs in the 50s. Maybe 60 on a freak warm day. But there were some 80s in there this year. I wish they would come back. 😅 Hopefully soon.
How does your wife do with motion sickness on Rise of the Resistance? My wife is a big Kylo fan and wants to try the ride but is worried about the movement because she does get a bit of motion sickness too
None at all. Disney has a lot of trackless rides and it’s really no different than Luigi’s or Runaway Railway with the exception of the drop toward the end.
Hey Travor… I just replied to another comment here “I’m pretty sure it’s illegal if you don’t go directly into Pooh Corner after exiting Winnie the Pooh 😂” and it has me thinking of a potential video idea. Not sure if you’re into it or not, but sometimes the next best part of going on rides is going into their gift shop after. I love going into Pieces of Eight after exiting Pirates, Pooh Corner after exiting Winnie, Adventureland Bizarre after exiting Jungle Cruise, The Star Trader after exiting Space Mountain, etc. What about a video where you take us on a ride, then take us directly into the gift shop afterwards? Just a stroll through? It would be kind of an ambiance video.
No, I absolutely do not agree with the masses. However, that being said, I definitely agree with you. some of the rides mentioned are my favorites. At one time, the submarine Voyage was one of the best rides in the park. As soon as they replaced it with finding nemo, it became a piece of garbage in my opinion.
“The ride home” is brilliant 😆 Nemo is my very least favourite for the claustrophobic experience and meh ride once you’re in it. I agree that the exterior is absolutely wonderful and I love taking photos of it, but you mentioning the smell (body odours or dirty diapers) inside the cramped vessel just made me vow to myself I’ll never ride it again 😆 I agree with everything on this list with the exception of Winnie the Pooh (one of the best dark rides ever) and Small World! But I do understand why people don’t like Small World, I just happen to like it. My daughter’s 9th birthday theme this year is It’s a Small World we love it that much 😂
I wish they would do the same thing to because it takes up too much land, and they could extend tomorrowland and put Tron there. And another ride. The biggest mistake they made was to put buzz light year in tomorrowland, and they could’ve put it in California adventure, and, they could’ve built a dark crate using that area there. It was excellent when they had to the screen that went all around you and took you to different places they could’ve done that again.
It would be awesome if it were possible to just airlift a ride out and place it somewhere else. Like Star Tours should be in Galaxy’s Edge now, and Buzz should be in Pixar Pier. Too bad that’s not possible and it’s too much time and effort to disassemble and reassemble. Space is also an issue in Pixar Pier.
Rode smugglers run for the first time last week... I can confirm the naseaus feeling lol my daughter said "I will never ride that again!" Although it was my son's favorite! 🤷🏻♀️
Did you hear the story about the man getting off the boat and was running around completely naked. However, does security and workers did the worst job in escorting him out when they put a blanket on him, and when the blanket was on him the open part of it exposed his front area, including his genitals until he was walked outto the front of the park and all the small kids were watching his naked body.
Theres no bad rides but if youre going tk rope drop you rope drop the best rides because if you rope drop winnie the poo over big thunder its a bad decision i always knock out at 8am space mountain big thunder pirates of caribean then splas mountaint then by 1pm im eating food for a break wait for the parade then at 8pm when wait times decrease back it

I've known for a while that you don't like Roger Rabbit but I still don't get why!! 😂 Imo the spinning is it's not as severe as teacups and you don't have to spin to enjoy the ride since it's basically a dark ride, and you can spin in such a way to always face the scenes of the ride. Weirdly I love the queue, I have a lot of nostalgia toward it because of waiting in long lines with family as a kid, playing with cousins while we interacted with the various scenes in the queue etc. Idk if I could be persuaded to get in a 60+ minute queue for it, but if ever the wait is reasonable I would totally ride it.
I’m in the minority but I love the finding Nemo submarine ride!!! When I went to Disneyland during the summer my sister and I rode it and it was one of our favs we loved it!! (Our submarine was stinky though 😅!)
Lol, Last trip i had a 4 year old behind me who was paddling backwards on the canoes. No big effect other than every stride threw water on my back. Couldn't get mad at a kid though.
This is my youngest son. 😂 My oldest came off after our most recent ride almost as soaked as Splash Mountain and he was sitting in front of my youngest.
I agree that they need to take out the whale ride and they could put a coaster right there for kids and adults. They could put the Snow White and the seven doors coaster there.

Enough people had mentioned one or the other. Thats why I did the poll between the two. Oddly, Star Tours was the ride most mentioned in comments. But when I put it to a poll, most people preferred Star Tours to Smuggler’s. So I just decided to lump them together and added them to the list.

It’s because the Tomorrowland side is the inside track and has tighter turns which leads to more jostling around.

I love going into Pieces of Eight after exiting Pirates, Pooh Corner after exiting Winnie, Adventureland Bizarre after exiting Jungle Cruise, The Star Trader after exiting Space Mountain, etc.
What about a video where you take us on a ride, then take us directly into the gift shop afterwards? Just a stroll through? It would be kind of an ambiance video.
No, I absolutely do not agree with the masses. However, that being said, I definitely agree with you. some of the rides mentioned are my favorites. At one time, the submarine Voyage was one of the best rides in the park. As soon as they replaced it with finding nemo, it became a piece of garbage in my opinion.

Nemo is my very least favourite for the claustrophobic experience and meh ride once you’re in it. I agree that the exterior is absolutely wonderful and I love taking photos of it, but you mentioning the smell (body odours or dirty diapers) inside the cramped vessel just made me vow to myself I’ll never ride it again 😆
I agree with everything on this list with the exception of Winnie the Pooh (one of the best dark rides ever) and Small World! But I do understand why people don’t like Small World, I just happen to like it. My daughter’s 9th birthday theme this year is It’s a Small World we love it that much 😂

I wish they would do the same thing to because it takes up too much land, and they could extend tomorrowland and put Tron there. And another ride. The biggest mistake they made was to put buzz light year in tomorrowland, and they could’ve put it in California adventure, and, they could’ve built a dark crate using that area there. It was excellent when they had to the screen that went all around you and took you to different places they could’ve done that again.
It would be awesome if it were possible to just airlift a ride out and place it somewhere else. Like Star Tours should be in Galaxy’s Edge now, and Buzz should be in Pixar Pier. Too bad that’s not possible and it’s too much time and effort to disassemble and reassemble. Space is also an issue in Pixar Pier.

Rode smugglers run for the first time last week... I can confirm the naseaus feeling lol my daughter said "I will never ride that again!" Although it was my son's favorite! 🤷🏻♀️

Small World is great on a really hot day because the air conditioning is fabulous, otherwise the ride stinks.
Matter horn bobsled ride is my favorite Disney land ride

Did you hear the story about the man getting off the boat and was running around completely naked. However, does security and workers did the worst job in escorting him out when they put a blanket on him, and when the blanket was on him the open part of it exposed his front area, including his genitals until he was walked outto the front of the park and all the small kids were watching his naked body.

Theres no bad rides but if youre going tk rope drop you rope drop the best rides because if you rope drop winnie the poo over big thunder its a bad decision i always knock out at 8am space mountain big thunder pirates of caribean then splas mountaint then by 1pm im eating food for a break wait for the parade then at 8pm when wait times decrease back it

Going there next week with the kids for the first time so I’m sure I’ll be riding most of these rides at least once. I’m sure they will love every minute of them.
Small World Holiday overlay isn't too bad compared to the regular Small World ride.

I've known for a while that you don't like Roger Rabbit but I still don't get why!! 😂 Imo the spinning is it's not as severe as teacups and you don't have to spin to enjoy the ride since it's basically a dark ride, and you can spin in such a way to always face the scenes of the ride. Weirdly I love the queue, I have a lot of nostalgia toward it because of waiting in long lines with family as a kid, playing with cousins while we interacted with the various scenes in the queue etc. Idk if I could be persuaded to get in a 60+ minute queue for it, but if ever the wait is reasonable I would totally ride it.
I’m in the minority but I love the finding Nemo submarine ride!!! When I went to Disneyland during the summer my sister and I rode it and it was one of our favs we loved it!! (Our submarine was stinky though 😅!)
Lol, Last trip i had a 4 year old behind me who was paddling backwards on the canoes. No big effect other than every stride threw water on my back. Couldn't get mad at a kid though.
This is my youngest son. 😂 My oldest came off after our most recent ride almost as soaked as Splash Mountain and he was sitting in front of my youngest.

I agree that they need to take out the whale ride and they could put a coaster right there for kids and adults. They could put the Snow White and the seven doors coaster there.

I hate when people sue for no reason!!! They should check the ride first before bringing in someone that's being disabled!!! This is why we can't have nice things!!!
glad to see my suggestion at least made an honorable mention on the list. Yeah, but storybookland canal boats just seemed so lame compared to all the other fantasyland attractions to me (yes, even casey jr and its a small world). Also, i do remember one time getting off this ride and immediately right after falling and scraping my knee. So just for that alone, i hate this ride even more lmao
I love the canoes. So does my sister. I'm surprised that Star Tours and Smugglers was on the list. I don't like it because of sickness. But surprisingly, I can ride Roger Rabit. I fight the wheel so it won't turn. So weird. And I don't sick.
Enough people had mentioned one or the other. Thats why I did the poll between the two. Oddly, Star Tours was the ride most mentioned in comments. But when I put it to a poll, most people preferred Star Tours to Smuggler’s. So I just decided to lump them together and added them to the list.
Cars ride in DCA. Over hyped. Not worth the wait. When busy they over prioritize the LL. Not worth ever over a 60min wait.

The one in legoland has way more space, is interactive, and is usually only your family and no one else unless it’s really busy.
