The chills was the fever. You took Aleve for the head ache. When you you began sweating, that was your fever breaking.
I came down with covid during the ice storm in February. I couldn't get to the doctor because i live in rural area. We dont have equipment to clear roads.. I finally got out 11 days later and got to the doctor. I tested positive for covid and chest xrays showed i had pneumonia as well.
The fever was the worst. Twice a day, sometimes more, it would hit. A couple times with teeth chattering chills. When the fever broke, it was as if i had showered and went to bed without drying. I ended up sleeping on towels sometimes because i run out of linen. I literally shred two fitted sheets because i soaked them with sweat and tore them while tossing.
It started with massive sinus headache. I thought it was sinusitis.
Then fever, no vomiting but did have nausea. I had loss of smell and taste. The FATIGUE was as bad as the fever.
Im much better now and blessed to be here.
Thank you for sharing your experience. It will help others.

The second Pfizer shot made me very sick. I was in bed for three days. I was dizzy, nauseous, diarrhea, 102 fever, chills, extreme body aches (felt like I ran a marathon), backache, sore arm, migraine, and strong fatigue. I had an allergic reaction the next day and took Benadryl which helped tremendously. I couldn’t sleep the next day because I was in so much pain then slept a lot (13 hours) the following day.
I agree with what others said. I think if someone has severe side effects then if they got covid it might have meant getting extremely sick maybe even hospitalization or death. My entire family (and relatives) are fully vaccinated.

This is just my experience. I am NOT trying to scare anyone or discourage anyone from getting the vaccine. A few side effects are normal but I now feel perfectly fine (1 day after getting the vaccine) 😊 you would rather experience a day or two of vaccine side effects than possibly lose your life to COVID or spread it to a loved one.

I'm just getting over the side effects from my 2nd pfizer vaccine. I slept for 24 hours, felt like I might have had a slight fever, a bit of achiness. Of course, my allergies are in high gear right now which doesn't help. I'm older than you are, 61, with an underlying health condition. But like you, I'm so grateful to be vaccinated and hopefully we can return to a more normal life. I've been self-isolating at home alone for a year so I'm ready for human interaction. About 6 hours after the shot, got bad chills, headache, muscle aches, and fatigue. However, this morning (24 hours after the shot), I felt about 90% better, and now almost 100%. It's good to know I'm not the only one, and it seems important for the younger group getting this shot (30s-40s) to know about this, because I have read our reaction is more common in younger recipients.

The reactions to the immunizations, are the immunity our bodies are going through. So our body is building immunity some people feel post vac symptoms, and some hardly feel a thing as my daughter. One shot of J&J and done. I'm happy to know she will be protected now and working on my younger daughter..lol she said shes afraid of the shot cause of false propaganda being spread around. So I told her, she should fear getting Covid cause its surely deadly if you get it and that's for the majority of the people. If you survive this then you may get damaged lungs, heart, and other organs. Myself, I'd rather take my chances of vaccination and at least I wont give it to someone I love

You are absolutely lucky to be alive unfortunately that can't be said for so many other people.... it's just because some people can't handle this virus Vector RNA therapy they end up having these bizarre cytokine storms and blood clotting issues. And that's because the virus is supposed to be just attacking the covid-19 protein Spike but unfortunately the human body has very similar protein in the uterus the brain and in the blood vessels so that's why people are having so many blood clots severe headaches because clotting in the brain. Your extraordinary really lucky. I'm going to make a point to check back with people 6 months to a year down the road and ensure they haven't had any strange autoimmune issues when their bodies are confronting other common coronavirus has and or flus to see how the immune system performs now that it has been completely altered. Best wishes to you but I'm not going to get anywhere near an experimental chemical where the drug companies have complete immunity to any liability. Once we get the data and the drug companies release their liability because seriously if they believe their product is so safe and effective they don't need to have complete and total liability. Other side effects I experienced: Fever of 102 degrees, chills, night sweats, severe pounding whole head headache, extreme fatigue, severe joint pain especially in my hips and back. I'm impressed teachers were able to go to school or even to the park after the vaccine! I definitely would have missed work.

COVID can be much, much worse (speaking from experience). True, COVID can also be asymptomatic... but so are a lot of the vaccinations, since most folks don't experience side effects to the point it interrupts their life.
I will also share that my mother had a brutal reaction to the FIRST Moderna shot. It was as if she'd had a stroke... she didn't know where she was, wasn't verbalizing, among other more embarrassing symptoms/actions. I'm not saying that to scare you, either, but to illustrate a point I think is very important: have someone checking up on you. If you live alone, have a friend or family member check in on you by phone who can do something if you don't answer the phone. She's gotten a bit better and we're working with her doctor to determine whether or not she should get her second shot.
Again, short and sweet: make sure someone's around to check up on you, and get your shot! I'm making dad's appointment (for J&J) right now, and I'll make mine in a couple of weeks when I'm sure everyone else in the house is doing fine.

About the 11th hour post shot, I started with nausea and vomited about every hour for the next 11 hours. I couldn’t even keep sips of water down.
