Zombie Mona Lisa, lol! Black paper is so much more difficult than white, but you did so well with the pencils (they don't look too bad for the price!). I admire your tenacity in drawing two of them; I think I'd have given up after one attempt. Maybe I'll stick to butterflies and cupcakes! 😂

I wasn't going to do a second and actually did that one a week later. I hadn't edited yet and I saw a video by Aussie Crafter and she re did a piece a couple of times when she wasn't happy with it. She referenced something Sarah Renee Clark had said to her, about being able to start over. It made me realise, I wasn't happy at all with mine, because I hadn't figured out the pencils the first time, so she inspired me to go for round two. I'm used to doing the lights first with pencils and I actually realised with black paper, I had to work the other way. That seems logical now, but it's why my first drawing wasn't a success.
I mentioned the butterfly and cupcakes as I originally had recorded two other videos and my files corrupted on both. They were actually colouring pages instead of a drawing, with a black paper colouring book. The first video was meant to be a cupcake and the second was a butterfly.
I was so upset when I lost the files, but this idea is actually better. The colouring book was terrible and it didn't really tell me if the pencils were good or not. I decided to buy some good black paper and do something more challenging, once I lost those videos.
