I can say that this was one of the most disgusting, grim and creepy anime I have ever seen, the feeling of bad vibes that each episode gives you makes you want to see more. good video by the way👍
I just thought of something Shio has a personality like Satou in the end What if the anime is like a redo of the same thing happening over and over but with the next gen of child? Like if there was ever a season two, it'd be Shio and a Satou looking child, then three would be the Satou looking child but older and a Shio looking child? Each one getting the last's personality but slightly different- I know I'm wrong for sure but it just a funny theory I thought of just now tbh Also Happy Sugar Life is one of my all time favorite animes, mainly as I relate to Satou in terms of being a yandere that was taught love but in the wrong way(I was taught love is an obsession feeling, not wanting the other to leave, and being abused in a slight way)
There will be no season 2, when the anime ended, the manga ended the same way, but your 'theory' is actually correct, future Shio found a child that looked like Satou and the cycle began.
I feel so bad for shoko and asahi somwhat bad for satou (probably caus most of the cast of characters weren't given much background and nobody i think nobody wants to talk about the purple girl i forget her name mitsuboshi and teacher and the creepy ahh manager)
