David Madrigal Me too man me too i wish this was the type of music that was being played on the radio today I often think on what it would’ve been like to experience it all in the 80s and 90s it seems like back then was a much happier and overall better time although I will say that this day and age has a lot of perks to it like the medical aspect of things we’re a lot more open to certain treatments that didn’t exist back then so that’s a plus I guess
I ALWAYS USED TO GO NUTS ANYTIME I HEARD THIS JAM BACK IN THE DAY! LOVE ❤THIS SONG SO MUCH ♥️! THAT'S OUR ERA WITH OUR REAL BIG BOOM BOXES WITH ABOUT 8, 10, 12, D"SIZE BATTERIES! THOSE WAS DAMN GOOD DAYS! I'M 60 YEARS OLD NOW THANK GOD FOR THOSE GOOD TIMES AND GOOD MUSIC BY GREAT MUSICIANS, VOCALISTS, DJ PRODUCERS, REMIXERS,ETC.,
When this came on in the movie SOC my dad jumped up and started poppin n lockin . Never saw a 50 yr old white man move like that. *edit it was in the middle of the theater on premiere night, all the people in the theater started shouting and cheering. Truly it was a sight to see.
NO GIMMICKS,NO AUTO TUNED,JUST STRAIGHT OLD SKOOL HIP HOP LIKE I STILL LOVE IT.OLD SKOOL HIP HOP WILL ALWAYS BE THE BEST HIP HOP.A SALUTE TO REAL HIP HOP AND MAY REAL HIP HOP LONG LIVE.
One of the most quintessential and era defining songs of all of us born in the 70s and growing up in the 80s. It's tough to describe the amount of emotion this song carries in my soul. It's cool to be able to say "yo I was there"!
Yes i was there during its pinnacle no matter what club the floor would get packed, I felt the energy of this song once to a couple thousand ,it was nuts.
They simply don't make music like this no mo. This almost makes me want to go to the club this weekend and stay sober of course and dance till 12 am Sunday. Then sleep for a few hours. Go to church and go to work. Then finally listen this record after work on Sunday night.
I've been trying to find this track for some time. I use to love to hear it mixed back in the late 80's. The best scratching was the part that kept repeating- "It's time". Oh, I love.....................................................................it! What a classic! This is one of the best tracks of all time in hip hop history. They just don't make them like this anymore.
I had a boyfriend that used pop lock to this song .he used have dj equipment & he would practice his moves at home I was his audience I adore this Era & its time to remenise on Good hype vibes of electric Boogaloo vibes 4shaw.
One of my favourites tracks of all time ever since i 1st heard it. Just really resonates with me for some mad reason. I wish i was from the US. To really appreciate it even more. Thanks for uploading 👊🏾🎧🎹🎶
I was originally sent here from a video of some girl who grew up spinning and scratching, and this was in the mix of videos that were put together of her. THEN I heard it in Straight Outta Compton. Huge appreciation for this track. Blows even a lot of the modern stuff out of the water.
Most will not understand what I'm about to say but if straight out of Compton or vice city brought you here I feel bad you. All I will say to those out there who know!!! The Wizard WDRQ DETROIT!!! The legend Jeff mills.
OHHHH esto está de locos!!! La había escuchado en SOC pero The Defiant Ones hizo que busque esta rola. Thank you for sharing with such amazing quality.
Break dance days by the Generation x 1982 Farside chucktown boogie down a -town . And all across the world. No fighting or gun violence if you win you win if you lose you lose but your not a.loser.fun days in that era..Word up!!!! Brings back so many.great memories.
I djed at a few cluubs in Dallas.Back in the 80's had a dance group aswell. The streetplayers.I'm 61 now ,but I still remember all the girls cheering us on.
Ah yes, this is still fresh. I love the camera clicking sounds in it. The only eay to enjoy this track is blastung through a def boom box rockin' that beat from accross tha street. 2,3, break!
Definitely relate to this..always did always will.. 40 years ago i 1st heard this, the more i heard it the more i related to it even from that very 1st time... it's time..
I got to see them boys cutting it live on Reseda,Ca on around 84,with 4 turntables, backwards, and 2 hundred speakers with a 1000 watt amp for each going full blast. It was insane The egyptian lover, too short ,the DJ from the movie Breaking and a few others.
I got to see this guys cutting it live with 4 turntables and they would do it backwards, with 250 sub speakers, with an amp each, the bass would be scary strong,I remember when they went to Reseda's rollerskating ring ,how bad the brickwalls, with those big bricks crossed, would vibrante, and you wouldnt hear a sound for about two hours after leaving the place, you would come out completly deaf
This is one of those records youd go in the record store and by on the strength of the cover art alone and hope you had something when you got home and in this case i did
With the bass in your face It follows me wherever I go 18 inch subwoofers for a headboard More 18 inch subwoofers to cover every wall, room and space at my house, Good thing I moved back to my hometown on México. Here, I can really bump it. How low can you go. I only got twenty thousand watts But you can feel it for miles and miles. Can't believe it makes windows rattle two miles away.
To me I hear parts of these great original jams in so many hit songs. From lyrics to beats the bass is as loud as your system can handle and then some.
If it wasn't for Straight Outta Compton I probably would've gone to the grave without ever hearing this. Really opened up a new world of music for me.
