I have the Sig Sauer vivus pcp gun. It's set up just like the paintball ser up. The only difference is the amount of regulated air that is released. Paintball guns are regulated at 800, the vivus is regulated at 1100. Nice to see from these videos that I can exchange internal parts so the gun can be repaired if need be. Since the bottles have an expiration date and Sig doesn't sell replacement bottles
Thank you so much. I may use the hopper with my mags for larger games and with the full auto now, it can be like a cooler version of the DAM. I appreciate it.
If you ever need anything else like that o-ring or similar most Hardware stores are going to have the best variety that are sold out of those plastic boxes that are full of the different sizes depending on ......
I tried to change the pressure on my regulator by adding shims and I had a leak near the pressure gage, I checked the o-rings but everything looked fine, then I tried to remove 2 shims ( first try was with the maximum of .050") and it was leaking at the same place but not as much as before. So I removed the remaining shims and now I don't have any leak.. Did someone have the same problem? Did I miss something?
Hi I noticed you said the but some lube on it would put it on the spring itself or put it on the piston, and would the lube that comes with the axe 2.0 work fine?
Can you change the whole regulator? Or are the regulators on the first strike tanks fixed? I'd like to put a ninja v2 pro on my tank. Thanks again and as always: Awesome video!
you would need a tank regulator tool and a strap wrench. you can find the tank regulator tool here: www.ansgear.com/SearchResults.asp?Search=tank+regulator+tool&submit=+ and a strap wrench at your local hardware store.
I have a gtek 160r. Is lowering the the pressure to 450-500 a must for this setup? I’m hearing mixed reviews. Some say the 160r can handle the 800psi others say to lower the psi to 450-500...
ANSgearPaintball Important question: are the bonnet, spring of the hero Reg and the pin identical to the ones in the First Strike 200 bar Reg??? I'm asking because the allenkey threads are damaged and the pin got scratches too on my hero reg!!
you would need to get a pressure reader and check where it's at. then adjust the shims and check again. repeat that until you have it where you want it.

If you want to use a hex key with the hole for the valve look at security hex keys
Are you supposed to tighten it till you have a small gap
If you're going to do an install, please cover the amount of pressure each shim adjusts the pressure by. Thank you.

Regular Allen key will strip it
I have a Guerrilla reg, but I don't know what model is and I'll like to know which kit should I buy? How can I identify my reg model/version?
Will this work on a FS 48/3000 standard tank(not a hero version) ?
Does anybody know the size of the oring that seals the pin? He mentions it in here, and mine is torn... trying to find a replacement

What tools are required to actually replace entire reg ?
you would need a tank regulator tool and a strap wrench. you can find the tank regulator tool here:
www.ansgear.com/SearchResults.asp?Search=tank+regulator+tool&submit=+
and a strap wrench at your local hardware store.
My bonnet won't come up to move the threads on my tank and I have the brass tip
did you try lifting and rotating the black collar that sits just below the threads?
Can I use the Exalt Vitamin G to grease the spring?
Yes, that would be fine.

Jose Cuevas it will be fine with standard 800 psi bro but you can go with either
Does the tank come with the shims when you buy it?
most regs come with shims in them, but not additional ones.
Will this work with a 13ci guerrilla tank

Is it ok to use Dow33 for the spring on the piston ???
yes
ANSgearPaintball Important question: are the bonnet, spring of the hero Reg and the pin identical to the ones in the First Strike 200 bar Reg??? I'm asking because the allenkey threads are damaged and the pin got scratches too on my hero reg!!
yes
For anyone else reading, First Strike reps recommend AGAINST this. They say to only use Guerilla Lube/Chemplex 710/Dow 111. PE grease is Dow 33.
Do you need to empty the tank?
yes
How do I get my 88 to 550psi I bought the kit but do I put no shim??

Will this work on my first strike 26/3000 psi air thank??
yes
Can it be set to 1300psi output?
why in the world would you need 1300psi 🤣

This is a terrible install video. You don't even cover how much each shim changes the pressure... it's kinda important.
This shim kit tells you which shim put what pressure out
Where? My kit has no instructions as well as the tank itself. Came with nothing.
my 100/4500 just arrived
Can grease the spring with planet eclipse grease that comes with my gun?
Is it okay to use that grease to grease the threads of the bottle that connects to the asa?
That will not harm anything.
Awesome!
I want one of those allen keys. I can't find any :-\
