Interstate 24 Monteagle Mountain

Driving south on Interstate 24 through Monteagle Mountain near Monteagle, Tennessee on February 6, 2021. It is frequently referenced as one of the most treacherous stretches of highway in the United States, especially in inclement weather. Does not look treacherous. Not too busy. Road appears in good shape. Wide shoulders. Seems better than I 80 coming down from Donner summit. Maybe the road is icy in winter?
