124 boxes of Sorcery Arthurian Legends sold is incorrect... AL sold 247 boxes and 39 cases or 234 more boxes - totaling 481 boxes of Sorcery Arthurian Legends sold over the Black Friday event - woohoo

The only reason FAB is selling is because the game went official in Mexico. Players need Majestics. Business has been good but once the players have the cards it will be back to flat.

Are you ignoring case sales and just looking at individual boxes? Azurite Sea sold 66 cases in addition to the nearly 300 individual boxes.

Please cover the new 30-pack PBB. I want to know your opinion, and is the price going to drop to $110-125 since there are fewer packs?

I have said this many times your theory is wrong when you say it’s a fair comparison of each set to itself on TCG player over time on sales to understand how well any product is performing in the marketplace. That is unless you can normalize market share of total sales TCG player has over the entire market for any specific product. If TCG player sales show it’s slowing down or dropping, but you can’t see that potentially other outlets are surging. A product could see a 20% drop on TCG player but sales migrated to LGS or eBay or shows and they surged by 30%. - 40%. This could have total sales up TCG Player just lost market share not a true decline in sales.

Great video! Im really looking forward to hearing how the other MTG sets did. Particularly the collector boxes for sets like NEO, ZNR etc

Just realized you're an RRB type. That's a good thing!
I scooped more Grand Archive and Pokemon than MTG... Until the Monday treasure trove sale where I grabbed a few more MTG boxes. Great sale...

Youll have to fill me in - I have NO idea what an RRB type is… 🤣

@HometownTcg Richard Rat Boy, he's a cohost of the Fleccas talks podcast and they do a "doppelganger" section where they people send them pictures of people who look like them. Not cardboard adjacent in any way. RRB's a good dude

Foundations is a big win in my book. Standard is popping and the new jumpstart is fire!

Agree - I think Foundations is going to be remembered EXTREMELY fondly - especially as we transition into UB every other set (or whatever it is)

I was far and away the most surprised at how many LOTR Special collector boxes sold. 23 on 11/27 (before the sale), 6 on 11/28, 5 on 11/29, 2 on 11/30, 1 on 12/1. All of these were essentially sold at or above $1500 per box. You think this is real or is it the Rudy hype machine? Current $1695 is the lowest box on sale (as of 12/2 1:00 PM PST)

Definitely due to the Rudy hype machine. 100%. If Rudy hadn’t of made a couple videos about the LOTR SE boxes then they would not have sold so quickly.
Personally, though, I am a believer that LOTR SE would be a great longterm hold. Wish I would have kept a few boxes of the dozen I purchased at the start of the year. 😑
