I really like the mixing of soundtracks here. I feel like the US soundtrack deserves so much more love, and seeing it melded together with the more popular JP soundtrack harmoniously just makes me so happy. Here are all the moments that stuck out to me: -The use of the US Good Future as the Palmtree Panic Past theme actually works quite well -The way the special stages merged themes was very cool -The US boss theme is definitely the more fitting one for the Spnic Spinball boss -I don't think the Tidal Tempest themes are merged in the way I would've done it, but for what it is, it's not bad! -I like how most of the bosses have mixed elements from the US boss theme in with the JP Final Fever! -As much as I love the US Quartz Quadrant themes, I have to admit they don't even hold a candle to the JP ones, so seeing them just not get used at all was really funny -Completely unrelated to the soundtrack, but struggling that much on Wacky Workbench is a mood, and paying respects to the statue with the little up down up down dance seems like the only sensible thing to do after all that -Ah, US Wacky Workbench Present, my beloved -Using Toot Toot Sonic Warrior as the Super Sonic theme works really well! And later on we see Sonic Bom used for it too, which also fits perfectly! -I don't like using the US Bad Future as the Good Future for Wacky Workbench. At first glance it does make sense to do that, but if you really pay attention, the Bad Future sounds like the zone has gone insane, whereas the Good Future is a bouncy rock jam. -US Stardust Speedway Present, my beloved -Also unrelated to the sountrack, but getting hit half second before time traveling twice in the span of like 15 seconds is the most Sonic CD thing in this entire video --JP Stardust Speedway Present, my beloved -SPEEDWAY TO THE GOOD FUTURE MY KING - 1:11:26 - 1:11:45 is the 2nd most Sonic CD thing ever -The switching between soundtracks for Metallic Madness was just peak for the entire zone, though it is questionable how they seem to have removed the lyrics -Aside from 1:14:15 being the 3rd most Sonic CD thing ever, it's actually quite clever to use the US Wacky Workbench Good Future (and specifically the one from the Sonic Boom album) as the Metallic Madness Past theme. It almost excuses the absolute crime of switching the Wacky Workbench futures XD -Secret 3rd Super Sonic theme??????? Despite my preference for the JP soundtrack, I do believe that the US soundtrack is also amazing and tremendously underrated, so I had to give both their moment to shine by using Miracle Edition's Hybrid/Custom sountrack! 2) I agree! Palmtree Panic US always sounded soooo peaceful to me, so I second that! 3) Yup! Both are so awesome, they needed their moment! 4) I agree, mostly because that boss used to be rather scary to go up against to me when I was young due to it's unpredictable and chaotic nature, so it having a chaotic and intimidating theme is a great fit :) 5) Tidal Tempest's kind of a "blur" (imo) when it comes to it's themes, since they are all mostly peaceful and fit the slow energy of the zone (besides from Palmtree Panic Past JP which is a lot more 'scary'?) so everything was kind of jammed together to try and give all the soundtracks some love, but it definitely could be different. Not really, actually, since I beat the game many times before; but it was a looong time ago... so that combined with the zone made me go absolutely insane. But it was still a blast!! And once it was all finally over, I couldn't help but thank the statue for releasing me from my 30 minute insanity... funny, funny :) 9) Yeeeeeah. I feel like JP's chaotic take does fit the zone better... but I've always thought Wacky Workbench US sounded amazing, so I'm happy with that choice too! 10) Indeed! After all, they're both "The Sonic CD theme" so I believe it is only natural for them to be used as the apogee of the adventure! This isn't Sonic Origins 😅 It's actually a decompiled and modded version of the Sonic CD Remake from the 2013 Christian Whitehead remake, running the Miracle Edition mod... I wish origins had Miracle Sonic!! (Appreciate the kind words a ton though! Thanks for watching ;))

You know, watching this, considering how cool super peelout is in theory, but in how unhelpful it actually is vs the spindash, i think its a shame they didnt use the former as a faster method of time travel of sorts, activating it much MUCH sooner and more reliably. Sort of as an intended method and that way the player would not accidentally trigger it.
