- As far as I knew, I WAS the only person ever to make a cover/ remix on the Demonic Little Gray Cat's theme, but since then a year has passed, and many others have given this tune a chance. Well, here I am, back with a new spin! While I did recycle the main structure of the first version, I composed entirely new parts such as a new orchestral intro and outro (based on "icantfuckingfinishanything.wav also by vivivivivi), my own original melody towards the middle, new filters and instruments, and what's that? LORE?!?!
Yes, I added my own headcanon for the Demonic Little Grey Cat. Purple Text is the Protagonist, White Text is for the Demonic Grey Cat, and well umm... there are two other colors but I'll leave that for y'all to experience :)
Points to whoever can decipher the strange text first...
To be honest, this song means a lot to me, and there is an emotional subject to the mid-song lyrics that while tied to the lore, are my own way of saying goodbye to someone that meant a lot to me. I wish I got to say goodbye, so I guess this is how I'm saying it.

I was so surprised when I found this easter egg, I didn't expect him to make an appearance after he was defeated in the previous game, no less with the mosaic corruption that had only been affecting our allies (though it makes a bit of sense given that he was our closest companion until the very end of the previous game). I tried to purify him to see if he can become an ally again but I wasn't very successful, I want to see if he can be redeemed after his betrayal, can someone please give me some advice on how to purify him?
You can’t, you have to wait for the D-Cat to give you his power.

i think to purify him you’ll need a special type of food + a purifier (you get from D-Cat) and have spook & awesome bird trick it into eating the food (wth the purifier inside)

The fact that the song is so popular that the community has basically come up with a full game surrounding it and there isn’t a AAA game about it yet surprises me. Like I would actually play it. Like I’m boutta make it myself.

I'll be honest, I didn't expect a sequel, but delighted all the same.
I was so surprised when I found out he was the true final boss of the boss rush, especially after his death in the first game. It was so fun revisiting this boss with a new twist. And then, they added a second phase?!!? Definitely the best secret boss i've seen in a while.

this sounds amazing! but I also really like the picture you chose, it looks like the cat has either become more powerful than ever, or has some sort of different type of power than they did before, maybe because they were defeated and built back? but then again, I don’t see them getting defeated unless it was apart of a master plan..that would work with the idea that maybe in you defeating them you’ve allowed them to become stronger than ever?

The best tips for this fight is basically try to get the catnip and get d-cats power (you have to have that), break the veil of death before you proceed doing so, also one of my best weapons is the Cat Banisher (only for True/Secret ending), if your trying to get the good ending, use the purify powder at when hes 1 hp, get the spirits by killing jaglion or snow hound, by the way, this boss is way more buffed due to the anniversary +buffs and phase 2. (the anniversary +buffs are: Increased regen, More damage, +4 shield, +5 sec stun once broken shield, and 85% more HP. (580% more hp at phase 2.) anyways, i HUGELY recommend using the cat banisher w/ spirit, using the regenerative spirit and taking ur time hitting him with cat banisher, once youve gotten 100% spirit potential i recommend to actually use the purifier, then use the spirit potential to save the soul (thats the name, ) then you'll weaken him, once you've done that use the cat banisher and get yourself to 1 hp on the final attack before he restores to normal, then use D-CAT's power, you'll get him like 30% of his hp, by the way, before you start the fight do this, "Assuming your character is under one of the scholar professions (They all have a similar ability) you can use power drain on the DCat first fight
Instead of using this power against him, *relog and immediately warp back to Mewzville*, it should create a glitch in which you now have DCat abilities still.
From here it’s quite easy, DCat practically turns standard enemies into bugs so there shouldn’t be problems with distractions
Assuming you have one already, use a Gift of the Ancients (if you don’t, fear not! gift of the ancients can be obtained through the AstroCats storyline, if you’ve not done it yet or already used the gift, replay chapter 3 and you’ll get it again, only once a week though), it should grant you with an hour long buff that allows you to access the Purassic Age caves
From there, clean out the Purassic cats that flood the tunnel until one drops an *Unstable Nipstone Shard*, this’ll help you later
Warp over near the Old Sphinx statue in the Litterbox Desert, and perform a triple walldash exploit on the left side of the statue (left when facing the Sphinx head, a torch will mark where you do it) (if you don’t know how to triple walldash, use a tutorial!), this’ll teleport you into the Cat-acombs.
From the Cat-acombs you’re practically done, use the 6th DCat ability and tune the Nipstone Shard so it’s no longer unstable. This was actually a planned feature but never used, glad we got to give it SOME use ingame, even if unintended!
Just run down to the 7th Demi-Cat resting place, and perform all the DCat spells in rapid succession, from 1 to 8 (Don’t play 6, or that’ll ruin the Nipstone Shard), this set of moves combined with the item ID of the nipstone shard SHOULD set off a glitch, however as you’re in the Cat-acombs and not the main map, instead of falling into the void, you’ll just fall somewhere towards the right of the now loaded Blessing Pedestal, from there you can play it out as intended! It saves you many hours as you don’t need to finish the whole story for the DCat power, and also unlocks some nifty buffs!
Remember to remove the DCat abilities by relogging again, if you don’t, the anticheat may trip when you begin exploring and you’ll be banned for a while" Credits to XPalidocious, once you get him to 10% hp, use the Rune of kitties, dont forget the awesome bird, and spook bird as allies as they can be very helpful. I had to do all this to get him to 0% HP, (on both phases), it was really hard, the bug Xpalidocious sent, you actually need the dcat and the bug due to them buffing it (with anniversary), im pretty sure they nerfed this bug, but i believe that they kept it because of the bossfight being too hard, anyways once you defeat Demonic Little Grey Cat (phase 1 - 2 +Anniverary Buff), you'll unlock the "Anniversary Periastron", which is basically the best item in the game next to D-CAT's power and Cat banisher, You can kill him in 2 hits in phase 1 with the Anniversary Periastron, and 10-20 hits in phase 2, (Anniversary periastron), so you can farm him for XP to reach the maximum level of 100M, (the XP it gives is around 800M+), 400+ levels in an instant if you have over 1M+ and 300+ levels ish if your around 50-90M. good luck with the fight ig

Part of the 1st Anniversary DLC, returns every Anniversary DLC. Obviously.

- How to beat -
This cat is the most powerful DLC boss, with two extremely strong phases. The second phase is completely immune to regular attacks, and can only be defeated via Countering with the spell Return to Sender or using spells.
MP Demonic Little Grey Cat's healing attacks damage your allies if you use Return to Sender - use it wisely.
- New Attacks and Buffs -
Shatter - Deals damage to all allies and all foes, including the cat itself. Attack on itself disappears during second phase.
Tears of the Unloved - Front Row attack, can become Back Row if none are in Front Row. Avoided by moving the targeted allies via the WASD keys. In both phases.
Crash and Burn - Spawns flying Grey Cats that home in on targeted allies. Number of cats is bumped up to 6 in 2nd phase. Default is 3.
HP is increased to 666,666 for Phase 1, Phase 2's health is 999,999.

Only one was walking away, and to save the feline realm, it had to be you... The finial battle between evil and good.
Except…. This wasn’t the real final battle was it? No something like this would require a feat worthy of the gods to be killed… Sadly the true journey has barely even begun.
