Any idea how to fix a Thinkway Pluto Plush remote control toy that will no longer walk? Where do I begin looking for problem. Batteries good. Pluto barks but ears no longer move and he will not walk. Thanks!
Try loosen up his legs 1st step sometimes they get too stiff for battery to move. Next make sure connected properly not broken inside. Use good masking tape if broken and sew back up fabric or fabric glue. But if everything looks good the motor probably shot.
If it still steps its either a wire going to the music box or the music box needs replacing. Only way to find out is to open up and see if wire is cracked or not attached.
I really enjoy your videos but I have replaced the batteries and the music and animation still don't work. Have you done a video showing how to fix that? I have a Hallmark Plush Snowman. Thank you
If its a spring you can get to you can replace if its a spring that is tight and helps play the music then you gotta replace the box because it will keep breaking
Nice video, we are thinking about attempting to remove the sound box (and the button that’s wired to the sound box) completely from the toy because the button does not work at all even new batteries are installed. Unfortunately, the sound box is attached completely inside the toy and it is not inside the Velcro pocket/pouch; which is from one of the Leap Frog musical talking plush toys. When a sound box is inside the velcro pocket, such as the Tickle Me Elmo, it is easy to remove. If not, it will be much difficult to remove the sound box without the velcro pocket.
Depends on the toy some you can make a small hole and remove and sew up others the sound box is too big and it will need to be stuffed up so the toy is usable again
This isn't exactly "repair"... Just battery changes, and at least one was cut open. I need more of that, I'm struggling to fix a handed down Rudolph Build-A-Bear that won't light up anymore... I replaced the rusted battery contacts with my own handmade one I twisted a paperclip into a spring and bent it so it contacts both batteries. I tested the connection and it works, so it's no longer the battery. I think the wire is cut somewhere or the bulb went out... so I really don't know what I can do from here since I'm hesitant to cut it open as it's a nice Rudolph plush!
What if the sound is working fine but the animation is not? Can still hear the mechanical moving sound but the toy is not doing the movement. Specifically talking about Cookie Monster that eats cookies, which go into his backpack. His mouth is no longer flapping. Thank you!
Robert you are always a joy to watch - enjoy your happy personality and laughter. Not to mention great plush tips!!
Thanks for watching 😀😀😀
I want to know more than just replacing batteries. The mechanical moving parts surely can be fixed???
yes ill do another video when i have some with gears and wires and how to repair thanks

how do you fix the muscial part if it gets wet?
shake the toy to get all liquid out then get a hair dryer try to dry immediately as long as it doesn't rust it should be fine
Hey, I have a ski snowman his upper body works and sings but his lower section doesn't ski? Do you have any ideas how to fix 😁
@@philcooke87 either loose or broken wire or maybe it has another motor that is Jammed or broken can only know if u open him up and look
@ZombieBargainHunter yeah I will open him up, did you get yours working to ski
@philcooke87 I got 1 working and the other the ski was broken
I have a question about an animated side stepper that doesn’t play music but does still step. Can you help?

I have a plush that is new it stopped working so I changed the batteries and it worked for one use and stopped again any idea on the problem?
Try cleaning the battery connections or make sure there is no broken wires.

I have not done a follow up. You have to open him up and see if the wire is cracked or dislodged and replace or if moving parts are stuck
Hey buddy thanks for the videos :) I have a gund lamb wind up stuffy and her wind up spring is broken. Any suggestions?
If it's the spring I have never fixed one after they get out of place without replacing the whole mechanism
I got a new plush toy. But it's not turning on..I have placed the batteries but still.
@gouthamabhishek1395 check the metal connection then if not open and check the wire see if broken
What if my spring broke?
If its a spring you can get to you can replace if its a spring that is tight and helps play the music then you gotta replace the box because it will keep breaking
@@ZombieBargainHunter thank you!
Thanks so much for your suggestions and help. I saved two plush musical animals.
Glad I could help!
Would like to see more of you fixing the ones you cut apart and putting it back together
I actually did 2 of those but the wires on both were bad so I cut them out of the video. But I'll do alot more of these.
Hey Robert, how do you ship toys with batteries if lithium batteries can’t go first class?
Thank you for the videos.
Lithium batteries can be shipped domestically just not international you have to remove if u ship overseas
Thanks for the video! I figured if the battery packs were corroded you wouldn’t be able to do anything with them, so really good to know!
Glad I could help!
Didn't know about opening them up to get to the battery pack. Thought they were a lost cause. Thanks for the info!
Anytime 😊😊

what if 2 wires came off and you dont know where they go?
mine is similar to the first one.
Alot of trial and error put them where u think hit the button and keep doing it then Sauder when u find correct location

Try BAB They used to fix all toys for free if you have one nearby take it in they might fix for free or you have to open it up and replace the wire
Great video. Thank you.
Glad you liked it!

You have to open near the mouth and find the problem it could be a loose connection broken wire or rusted springs.
Great video, I got a lot to repair myself. Appreciate you sharing this video
lol i fixed 10 now i only have like 990 more to go 😂😂
Great, your so funny, I think maybe that one was supposed to be holding a bongo, a drum. I don’t know for sure but he was saying hit the bongo.
Lol yeah I'll have to research him more. He is super funny.

How to fix when the springs are gone.
not sure you can unless you solder another one in because you need the pos and neg to make the batteries work
😎👍
😎😎👍👍
Uhh man no battery it’s a music box. It’s a nightmare. All these little pins came flying out.
yeah thats horrible when its pins the spring needs replacing. figuring out where the pins go will be impossible
20:29 awww it’s a furby baby
Crushed over my non working stuffed toy.
Battery operated would be way easier I had to cut the open night mare
I think this is the first time seeing a Furby on your channel.
I have a ton they are just buried in my repair graveyard 🧟♂️🧟♂️
@@ZombieBargainHunter I'm sure you know this but I have done really well selling them in lots vs just one at a time.
Wow talking Tom
🐈🐈
Do you really have to have so many commercials?
I wish i could control them but UA-cam controls that sorry
Thought this was a repair video not a replace the batteries video.
I still have to do a full repair video just have not had the time. this one was just fooling around
