    Lovely series of videos , really enjoying your slovenia and croatia tours a place I have been many times of the years , we are heading to croatia again this summer and planned to stay at Omis and Camp Galeb for a few days and kayak on the cetina river on our way to dubrovnik , I see on the teaser for dubrovnik you visit kupari and the ruins of the hotels just south of dubrovnik its very eerie and thankfully is finally being re developed . wonderful country and lovely people. Did you get to montenegro ?

    • @ExtremeMotorhomingAdventures
      @ExtremeMotorhomingAdventures  Рік тому +1

      Hi Tony, its great to hear you are enjoying the tour, its only half way through at the moment, we still have Italy and Switzerland to share 😀 We wanted to go to Montenegro but its really difficult to get fully comprehensive insurance so we had to give it a miss. We were only in the hotel ruins last September 2022 so interesting to know they've finally started to redevelop it. It was obviously once a very big hotel in a great setting, cheers...Andy&Michelle

      We went to Montenegro and bought insurance at the border and went in the motorhome to kotor well worth it but it didn’t feel great for camping we were in a big camper and the sites were very small access due to the sides of the fjord .. ended up coming back into croatia and stayed at kupari camp, 👍

    Incredible scenery again, stunning, and of course, beautiful weather. Didn't see any caravans just looking at the site you stayed on? I had a look; maybe I saw one? I know some places you stay are aires, but were caravans allowed on that site?

    • @ExtremeMotorhomingAdventures
      @ExtremeMotorhomingAdventures  Рік тому +1

      Sorry Caravans aren't allowed in Croatia - just kidding, yes there were Caravans on this site, it'd make a great place to stay, has it all within easy walking distance😉 cheers...Andy&Michelle

      @@ExtremeMotorhomingAdventures haha I just saw the first bit on my notification “Sorry Caravans aren’t allowed…” Good, looks like a nice site. Croatia is on our plan for next year

    Just found your channel and you certainly got my attention. Wonderful vlog and watch your backs, Might just bring our new caravan over, 😆 🤣 😂 certainly enjoyed the vlog. Would be nice if you can use what 3 words or similar for booking sites etc,Tc

      Glad you enjoyed the vlog😀Omis was really special, we loved our time touring Croatia, one more to come from Dubrovnik and then we get the boat over to Italy😀
      That’s a great idea with using what 3 words. Shall try to remember to do that for our future vlogs 👍🏼Cheers...Andy&Michelle

    Did you have to pre book (if so, how long?) the caravan park places or just went there and there were spots available?

    • @ExtremeMotorhomingAdventures
      @ExtremeMotorhomingAdventures  Рік тому +1

      When we were there in September the sites were fairly full or completely full but what we found was turning up around 10am-11am there was space from someone moving off, even though when ringing they claimed they were full. This particular site did have a fair bit of space though, if you wanted a sea front pitch you'd probably need to book several months ahead, cheers...Andy&Michelle

    Interesting you seeing that couple I think it might be couple we saw in France in August, sure they said they were off to Croatia for a while. Think he makes money off investing.

    The first 20 seconds. That place does NOT seem real. It's more like a fantasy landscape in a computer game.
    But I could climb that cliff.......

      Know what you mean, that's a great way of describing it, and yes, we now know you could climb that 👍😀 Cheers...Andy&Michelle

    I've just realised that Bosnia and Herzegovina doesn't permit Google StreetView. But then neither does Germany. Interesting.

    • @ExtremeMotorhomingAdventures
      @ExtremeMotorhomingAdventures  Рік тому

      Yes we've noticed that in the past when looking for routes, its a bit inconvenient. With Germany its down to them having strict privacy laws I think, not sure about Bosnia and Herzegovina

      BiH is basically a country without real leadership because it consists of 3 nations and 3 religions and they are all busy fighting over the other 2 or stealing money, bribery or hatred because of nationality or religion, which is also the reason why we had a war 30 and a few years ago years and is one of the most corrupt in the world, so yes, it's been around for centuries, but .. yeah.. it's a total mess . but people are mostly very nice to strangers and the country has a lot of hiden beuties to show
