I just got it cause I am desperate to get my finances in order! at first it was overwhelming, but I spend a few hours tracking numbers and I think I am getting the hang of it!

Focusing on activity/movement instead of exercise can feel so liberating and still provides health benefits (physical and mental)! Staying consistent with being active in some form daily will pay dividends the rest of our lives.

Great update! For me I like to look at percentages based on my income. That way you can see percentage saved, and your expense percentage will look more normal 😊
Yesss same! The rracjer shows you your budget breakdown so you can see percentage of expenses and savings! Also the annual dashboard breaks it down annually too!

That's the issue I had at home. I would shop for the house because I felt compelled too. I actually wasn't able to save up till I moved out.
Yeah I feel like I want to make updates for my mom but then I try and stop myself, usually successful but not always 😭

Yay! Love your monthly reset videos! This video has such a cozy, relatable, and warm vibe! Thanks for the inspiration and reflection on your goals! Love the monthly inspiration and the idea of moving for joy! I need to refocus on my fitness like walking and strength training! I have been doing Grow with Jo and Leslie Sansone walking videos here on UA-cam. Grow with Jo in her weight loss journey video mentioned it is ok to be a beginner again, I like that quote. I found some others UA-cam channels that mentioned there wellness journals like Mariane Cresp weekly fitness tracker video and well-being planner video, JashiiCorrin self-care bingo video, NPerfect Plans self-care planning video, and Breana kechelle fitness journal videos! I thinking of just using a dollar notebook, that will help with motivation for fitness and self-care. Other channels that I find our helpful is TheCoffeeMonsterzCO journal videos, Char Villena journal and studio vlogs, and Tiffany Shelton 12 week year goal videos! Wishing everyone the best!

those korean honey butter chips are SO GOOD! if you go over to gmart in beaverton or hmart in tigard they definitely should have them! (also - try the calbee seaweed potato chips, and the turtle chips in the blue/yellow bag - seriously also very addicting 😅). I’ll have to check out that sunscreen too - thanks beautiful for the recs ❤️ (my skin is super sensitive so I’ve been using a baby mineral sunscreen from pipette and thankfully no breakouts or skin reactions yet 🙏🏻) hope you’ve been enjoying the Oregon sunny weather this week 😘 God bless always girl

@@SelenaTrevino Beaverton is definitely the spot to go for good Korean (and Japanese) food too! Nakwon in downtown Beaverton is a must, along with 1st street pocha for KFC (and chmcking by Trader Joe’s if you haven’t already). there’s also a pretty good Korean restaurant above Gmart that I used to go to in high school/early collage days 😘 also Bubble N Tea in cedar hills is definitely one of my hubby and i’s favorite boba spots. Cheers love!

I moved back home with my parents and shopped more too
LOLOL I def dont think j shop much more it's mainly that it was my boyfriends and best friends birthday, I think I've been pretty good about my spending overall. Like yes technically I could go spend $2,000 extra now that I don't pay it in rent but that's why budgeting is important! As long as you save $$ first, and invest first, you're good to spend however you please with the rest!!

I’ve missed these videos! I totally relate to the challenges of living back home. That was my 2020-22 experience and setting boundaries and getting out of the house (especially to nature) helped so much. Hope you can find peace and keep making slow, steady process towards your goals. 🏠🪴☕️

Do you add transactions like car insurance/car payment to the expense tracker or do you leave those up in the fixed variables?
Payments that are fixed like car insurance go under bills! Not expenses
@@SelenaTrevino so the variable expenses amount should be equal to the expenses summary? I am figuring it all as I go. Its my first time tracking my expenses using something like this. I am grateful I found your budget template, thank you for your guidance!
@@vanessamontano5505 yes so ay tbh e end of the month after you’ve entered all your expenses in the expense tracker the totaled amounts in the categories section under the graphic you copy all of the totals and *paste values only* under the “actual” section in the variable expenses section!
So essentially by entering your expenses and categorizing them, you’re also finding out the ACTUAL totals for your variable expenses!

Also, what does it mean if I have a negative number under "available to spend" box
@@vanessamontano5505 negative means you’re spending more than you earn! Make sure you’re logging all your income in the budget and the actual section in income.
