Saw the Ike & Tina Turner Revue at Hammersmith Odeon in February’71 & can honestly say it was one of the best gigs I’ve ever seen. The sheer power, warmth & energy Tina emanated from that stage was unbelievable… as was the amazing choreography her & the Ikettes performed throughout the show. Tina will forever be a legend! ❤

I saw this performance when it first aired on TV in 1973.
IMO, this is the best Tina & Ikettes TV performance! Tina's voice was made for this song, the band is smokin', and the choreography is pure 💥💥💥! Check them doing We are the Robots & Pocket Calculator dance moves 8 years before Kraftwerk's release. I think the middle Ikette is none other than Maxayn Lewis.
