- this takes place at least a few days after the bite. michael and elizabeth still have not properly talked to each other
- elizabeth is still semi-mad at michael, but she understands that he regrets it badly, and at this point, there's no use in taking out her anger on him
- michael on the other hand, desperately wants to reconnect with liz, but does understand she needs time. liz and norman were super close, after all
- on this particular night, both were unable to sleep and found comfort in each other. they only had each other now in the household, with william drowning himself in work in the basement
- things were still tense between them, but this was the start of their mending relationship
- few weeks later, this vid event occurs next
