I have noticed something. People who strive for the narrow gate will accept this message. But people who want to keep their sin reject it... Don't be the the latter. Strive to enter by the narrow gate that leads to eternal life. Even when you are doing a terrible job at it, keep striving.
This statement should be in the dictionary as the definition of Irony. The narrow gate will be the people who (truly have the Holy Spirit of Promise seal on their foreheads-only known to they and God) who completely trust in the blood of Jesus for salvation. AFTER that disobeying God and willfully sinning causes us to fall out of the protection and will of God. It stunts our growth, causes us to lose the joy of our salvation, causes sickness or even death. This is milk though. So many people never ever get beyond the milk because they’re so busy trying to get saved and stay saved. People wonder where the power of the church went and why they have no power in the Spirit of God. There is absolutely no power when you don’t know your saved. Because you truly don’t have faith in the one who gives the power. This preacher sounds good and is obviously much more intelligent than me but he hasn’t received the revelation of the cross from the Holy Spirit of Promise. (Not saying Jesus not saved because only God knows) Bless all of God’s people! Amen.
Years ago before I learned what brother David is teaching I was warned by a preacher who didn’t even know me, that God will destroy those who are his but are disobedient, Being stubborn and continued in my sins I ended up losing everything my ministry my family my business my health. So I praise God for men like brother David who warn and teach the truth not The tickling of the years that produces wimpy crispy Christians. I know I would never recover from what I had and lost but I’d prefer to enter the kingdom of God with nothing and keep my salvation.
Dillon Well that is not accurate, you can loose your inheritance but not you sonship, parable of the prodigal son. Furthermore, your works may burn up as hay and stubble but you still escape as through the fire. Scripture is full of assurances of our saviours promises, salvation is the moment you believe , your sealed,, not hopefully later. It's justification, sanctification then glorification. This man is mixing words and his hermeneutics is flawed.
If you are trying to”keep” you salvation, than you will never get into heaven. We are “kept” by Gods own power, not ours. You have been misled, we are not saved by Jesus, and our good works. I don’t know who this man is or where he came from, but he is a false teacher. He is teaching a false gospel. Carefully read, Romans 4: 1-4, this should help you understand what the gospel is. I hope you will.
Eddy Kelly and you're just some dweeb posting poopcomments on youtube. David Pawson is a scholar and I would trust his opinion beforr yours any day of the week.
The man proclaims the false gospel of the mythological Jesus Christ that has yet to save one soul or convert one of the seed of Satan and make them the sons of God as he said he could do, The sons of God need no believing to be the sons of God for Matthew 5 says that they were born the sons of God for God rejected all others,I suggest that you come to understand what the phrase to chose means and then you can understand why Jesus Christ is a fake and fraud on all humanity and all those rejected were and are assigned to hell from the foundation of the world.John to Revelation is all religious trash reading by two or more corrupt writers who were gentile Jews rejected by God,
@ Tony Muchiri Exactly, you've implied that Jesus has already saved your soul obviously because you believe in Jesus Christ by faith without the deeds of the law, knowing Salvation is a gift given to those that simply believe *YET* David Pawson @ 7:40 implied he is not saved, meaning he believes God has not yet given him eternal life that there is a process that he must do works and endure to *become* saved. David Pawson is in serious error John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
esther19741974 This guy is a false teacher with a false gospel which doesnt save. 'Believers in hell' should be a dead giveaway but sadly most are decieved and think they must do for salvation. I can see the Holy Spirit is working in you and showing you truth. Keep planting seeds brother and hopefully people reading this will come to believe the gospel. God bless
@ Refuz Tosay The Bible states in James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, *he is guilty of all.* We sin everyday and we will sin everyday to the day of redemption or our death, anyone who states they are not sinners are liars anyone who states *THEY* themselves have overcome their sins are deceivers and liars, blasphemous rejecters of Jesus Christ in their own works of the Law that has never justified any flesh. I encourage you to consider Salvation by faith not of works of the Law Romans 10:4
I don't see how a born-again believer, indwelt with the Spirit of God would desire to "murder people on a regular schedule" with no conviction and chastening. I suggest reading Hebrews 12. If you can't grasp this simple concept I doubt you have the discernment of the Holy Spirit as well. Pawson is lost devil leading many to hell. Trust in Christ and what He did for your sins, not what you do for eternal life. Remember, a little leaven leveaneth the whole lump. God bless
When you are born again spiritually, you become a NEW CREATION. You can never revert to your old creation. What God changes in making you a new creation is your NATURE. You can still sometimes do wrong things (which no one is advocating0 but your nature is new. People do not understand that it is our nature that is changed in spiritual conversion and out of that lives gradually change as we learn and grow. Works must be God's works in and through us because we now have a God Nature living within us. So, I believe if one is truly born again, he or she is a NEW CREATION IN CHRIST and God will never let him or her perish, but will make the end come out right. THAT IS TRUE FAITH!
@@charliel7216 Ok Charlie, explain how you can LOOSE the Holy Spirit? Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Ephesians 1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
Amen. There is a famine for this kind of preaching. The truth. The kind that doesn't satisfy what man wants the Bible to say, but instead speaks from God regardless what man thinks about it. If you wish to argue his message, you need to honestly examine why that is. God bless you David Pawson; RIP in the presence of our Lord.
I has been a Christian since my Childhoods past. There were 13years lost.Nowadays feeling like I am Deasent Christian.Mr.Pawsons Lessons had guide me far.I repent those lost years and sins, sinner I was.Thank God He helped me.Lovely thanks to Mr.Pawson, vice man.God Bless you all.
If we submit and fully surrender with a repentant heart, and seek forgiveness for what we have done, keep the Most High's Way and believe upon what the Lamb who was slain did for us, then His Grace is sufficient for us. From time to time things are brought to my mind, things ive done that make my stomach literally turn. I immediately go into prayer as im reminded that i truly do not deserve forgiveness. I want to be perfect but how could i ever be? If in your heart of hearts the sin youve committed makes you ill to think upon, and youve left those things behind (what repentance means), praise Him for making you a new creation. Who i once was is not who i am now. Praise His Name!! The enemy sneaks in to derail me on occasion, reminding me that im not good enuf. Speak Scripture when that happens regarding the subject and the enemy flees. These thoughts come up to the repentant heart. Thats a good sign.
Mr. Pawson, I thank God for you and pray that you don't suffer with that horrible disease. You have answered so Many questions for me and taught me so much. You are the finest speaker I have ever experienced. I'm 63 years old an have heard a few! Ha I love listening to you while I'm doing other things or just lying there. Thank you for your wonderful duty you our Lord. I pray I haven't overlooked my duty too. I really just cant thank you enough. God Bless you Sir.
Chris Raynor do you have a citation for that? Because I’ve heard him say when a person is filled with the Holy Spirit they can’t be possessed (but they can be oppressed - even he has been, he’s spoken about it when he was diagnosed with cancer and the experience of getting delivered from it when a curate prayed over him - here is the video ua-cam.com/video/ZNp6DNQO0L0/v-deo.html)The term “Christian” is often incorrectly conflated with the notion of being Holy Spirit filled through baptism. At any rate, Prince was a teacher called and anointed by God, that much is clear. I question whether the man ever had anything incorrect. Not setting him up as an idol - he often made disclaimers whenever he was opining about anything - but I’ve personally never heard him teach anything that wasn’t solidly backed up with scripture. My discernment has never been pinged negatively for him, and with teachers/preachers its sensitive enough to often tell on sight whether someone is to be avoided. Just my opinion. I think so highly of Derek Prince that I couldn’t leave your comment unchallenged for anyone else reading. God bless you!
Really?? That's biblical How can you not believe it if you believe that the bible is the word of God (king james bible) not any other. You are playing on the dangerous side
For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I love listening to Mr.D Pawson preaching and interpretation of the word of God. Very detailed and straight forward. May the Lord continue to use you in drawing more souls into his kingdom.
We DO NOT interpret the word of God. We understand it. Private interpretation is sin and has caused the division we see in the body of Christ. In the United States alone, there are over 4,000 registered denominations!!!! How can this be when we in fact claim to follow the same Jesus Christ and base on the same Bible? Private interpretation of God's word is the problem. It is wicked!
I am very blessed to listen and learn from David Pawson!! What an awesome teacher he is. He speaks with such anointing and wisdom. Thank you Lord for putting Mr. Pawson in my life.

@@matthewhughes3749 He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. Revelation 3:5 NKJV Yet now, if You will forgive their sin-but if not, I pray, blot me out of Your book which You have written.” Exodus 32:32 NKJV Bible does not ever meant our name is written in the book of life once we accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. It only mentioned being blot out. Noticed the book of life was written passed tense. In the beginning God wrote the book of life with all our names are written in it in. At the time of our death Jesus will determine if we have treasured His grace and if we have overcome to keep our name in the Book of life. This is consistent throughout the Bible. The parable of the seed and soil. The parable of the wedding banquet. Matt 22 ( Note the man that was not dressed in wedding garment that is the precious blood of Jesus Christ. There will be many that think they are ready for the feast but have not covered themselves in the blood. Not only by their lips but in their heart. When we treat the grace of God is free and cheap it's a error in our heart. It is free but it was never cheap. Jesus paid dearly for our sins. It is the Precious Blood of Christ. It is like an attitude of treasuring our birthright in the Blood. Jacob I love Esau I hate as the Lord has stated. Have we really for a morsal of bread lost our birthright. We cant tell by action what the true man heart is only God can. But from the scriptures from old testament to new testament it's all really falls down to our heart at the end. Read Rev 2 and 3, and you will see how often Jesus call us to overcome until the end. “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, I Timothy 4:1 NKJV We can NOT depart of the faith that we never have it in the first place. This is just some of the samples of many Biblical references I stated. If you read throughout the Bible its pretty consistent. It's not what we know that matter it's in our heart. Someone might not know any doctrine at all but just know Jesus and his blood but truly treasure it in his heart. That is all the matter. But we will see the evidence of this is in his life for out of the heart follow the desire of life. May the Holy Spirit lead your mind, heart, and soul to true intimacy our Holy Father and Lord Jesus.
MrBazinthenow you are right it's not work for its work out. If we can work for it wouldn't be precious. But because it is precious we have to work out. To work out is to really transform our mind, heart, and soul( I think, i want, i feel) to desire the precious gift of the Blood of Jesus Christ. Unfortunately we can lose that first love as we live on earth. May His word settle in good soil in our heart.

Christopher, not every verse in the bible is written about the born again Believer living in this Age of God's Grace. We, the Body of Christ, are justified of all things by faith in Christ.
@@johntrevett2944 his teaching is very sound. Please read your Bible in a sincere manner and you'll see just this. We have works to do to be saved. Don't get confused with the Faith and No Works concept. The Bible doesn't say we don't need works to be saved. Instead, it says that we are free from the Law of Moses (Torah). But we are now in Covenant with Christ. And in this covenant we have to produce good works. Go and study about the difference between works of the law and good works. We don't need to do the former, but we definitely have to do the latter to be saved.
@@TheEverydayManChannel I disagree. This man teaches a born again believer can be cut off and end up in hell. Such a person doesnt believe the gospel and doesnt know how to rightly divide the word of truth.
John Trevett Noone asked for your opinion. We need to ask the bible and well he gave quite a few clear examples from the bible to clearly prove what he said is right. So i will just go with his teaching of the bible and not your teaching based on apparently your own subjective view

It has something to with our free will. I am sure God knows it all, but we have to experience our mistakes and see it on a screen on judgement day. Besides that, Jesus Christ approached Judas always in a kind matter, to give him space to repent, at least that is how I think about it. We have our free will, God never forces his love on us.
Pacifica74 Yes I heard that too, also that Moses gave the laws to the Jewish people - but truth is Moses gave the laws from GOD to all the 12 tribes as well as the foreigners who left Egypt with them. So it’s good to check GODS Word for accuracy as Mr Pawson frequently says in a lot of his teachings and to always believe what God says. We need to be Bereans to show ourself approved, to study for ourselves. Also all preachers are human with some error and with humbleness Mr Pawson admits to always check with what he says as to what GOD says and GOD the Holy Spirit will lead us to GODS truth. ❤️

Thanks a lot and God bless you, Mr. Pawson. Good preachers teaching correct doctrines are getting fewer these days, and I thank God that I have this opportunity to listen to your messages, that helps me spiritually. These teachings from the Bible are scary but true.
God knows everything and there is nothing he does not know. When he said "for now I know that thou fearest God seeing thou has not withheld thou son, thine only son from me" (Genesis chapter 22 verse 12) ....that was just God speaking letting Abraham know and see how far he would go to obey God. God knows everything, he is omniscient.
I agree he was off on this, I think it was more like God saying, "now YOU know, that I know". We need to remember that God speaks to us in his word in ways we understand, and not always the way it really is. He has to stoop way down to our level just to communicate with us. Also, the bible wasn't written in the KJV. This version like all the others have some holes in them, but nothing that would prevent anyone from knowing the truth, or compromise the gospel. However it is the original copies that we believe are inerrant. The majority, 99.5% of the scriptures in our language are inerrant. The small number of supposed errors or seeming contradictions, we see in our translations were made in translation and minor copying mistakes. These minor mistakes are totally insignificant, but I believe God left them in there on purpose, for those who choose to harden their hearts will always find a reason, and those who know the truth will trust God despite the skeptic. The fact that we have the word at all, in our language, is an absolute miracle.

Been watching His UA-cam videos and I was surprised how he has aged gracefully...glad I found his teachings though, it is always good to exchange notes with other believers too
I was saved 27 years before the Lord opened up scriptures pertaining to salvation to me. I was desperate, depressed, fearful, under self condemnation. I believed falsely as so many do today that Christians can lose their inheritance with the Lord. What I came to find out is that satan hates the true gospel of grace , that people can be free from religion, free from a false works/lordship salvation which is not the good news. To repent is falsely taught as turning from our sins. But repent comes from the Greek word metanoia which means to change your mind, we turn from unbelief to belief. The title of this video suggests that Christians can go to hell. We have a serious problem then, IF thats true, the bible has contradictions in it. Sinners are appointed to wrath, saints are appointed to eternal life ..John 3, 6, 10, Acts 16, Ephesians 1, 1 Peter 1...Faith is given BY God, to believe on that which we cannot see..It is by grace through faith we are saved, not by works ...
Praise God for sharing David Pawson to us to clearly bring about the reminders to us, our completion from our moving on working our Salvation. Not once saved, always saved! Advancing faith and obedience to God to heal our complacency by forever listening, studying and manifesting His Word. Only by recognizing and accepting His mighty mercy and grace, strength, guidance, wisdom, providence and prosperity, we can't be missing and lacking His steps of plans and purposes for us. To God be the glory!

I have been searching for this amazing teacher of the Living Word for over 46 years, and I immediately knew this past Sunday that when the Spirit of Truth led me to him and I heard the first few words he spoke, I had found the teacher whom was meant to start feeding me the Truth, the Living Word.
I am unsure if i am saved. The Lord has not gifted me with assurance yet but i am hopeful and waiting. Someone once told me the people who get most angry at a message such as this from Mr Pawson are the unregenerate because the spirit within them reacts against the Holy Spirit in the message and makes them angry and it spills out into the world. The bible teaches how a true servant of the lord will react - 2 Tim 2: 24-25 "And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth". Please all you angry people out there making awful and angry comments please consider this please.
Its a process. You can either move up or down. Move up by looking towards Christ. Avoid moving down by sinning and focusing on the world. At least you are not dead set on being saved after a single prayer, this is a dangerous mindset sending many to damnation!
If you weren't saved maybe you would not even care. The process of sanctification is a lifelong process. We have to trust Jesus for our salvation. It's a horrible feeling not being assured of salvation and does not give peace. We have to trust Jesus that he is the author and finisher of our faith. The apostle Paul says sanctification is the work of the holy Spirit..so again..we keep looking to him. I hope this helps.
You say 'the bible teaches how a true servant of the Lord will react' and then go on to quote Timothy who says 'And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient..' and so on. Timothy didn't say, unless a man claiming to be a believer is gentle and patient then he's not really saved. He was simply teaching how we should behave once we are saved! By saying that a true believer WILL act/react in a certain way, not only are you adding to the gospel something that isn't there but you may be causing people to look at their actions as an indicator to whether or not they are saved. This is the opposite of what the true gospel teaches us. We are to look at Christ and what he did for us for our salvation. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Elliot, don't listen to this lost devil. All false religion will point back to you and your performance for your "assurance." If you are looking at yourself you will never have it. 1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
Challenging. Sobering. I would so much like to keep my free ticket, but Philp 2:12 comes to mind: "...as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling..." Note the verbs: 'obey', 'work'. As a believer for 25 years, almost no bible teaching has created in me a response of fear and trembling. But I fear now, and tremble. I must RE-THINK the idea that my salvation on faith and grace will work _itself_ out as I go about my own affairs. May the truth and spirit of God be greater than tradition in the church institutions of today. Amen
2 Cor 13:5, "Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith." What does Paul speak in reference to? Dangers of a works doctrine, or to something else? Hint: see v 2
Philippians 1:6 says something very comforting, _ "And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns."_ I think that verse is telling us to rely on God's faithfulness to complete us. Should that make me a lazy Christian? No. *It should make me work hard to rest or rely on HIS faithfulness to complete me rather than my faithfulness to complete myself.* Hebrews 4:11 warns us to make every effort to enter rest so that we do not perish. Jesus is that rest. Jesus is the High Priest that intercedes for us with his own blood and prayers. Jesus was asked about the *work* of God... *Joh **6:28**-29 ESV* _Then they said to him, “What must we do, to be doing the works of God?” (29) Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”_ That's my job...to believe, to rely on, to entrust myself to the Lamb of God who takes away my sin. He doesn't simply pretend that I have no sin; he takes sin by the throat to get it away from me. He does more than just sit on his throne to make sure that I won't get away with sin. *He in his GREAT MERCY refuses to allow sin to get away with me.* Sometimes that may look like God is out to get me but he's not. He's after the sin in my life. My belief in HIS unfailing, never-ending love for me is why I welcome and trust his correction, but at no point do I doubt that I am entirely and eternally His. As Paul said, I am convinced that NOTHING is able to separate me from the love of God. (Romans 8:35) *1Jn **4:15**-18 ESV* _Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. (16) So we have come to _*_know and to believe_*_ the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. (17) By this is love perfected with us, so that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so also are we in this world. (18) There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love._ John said '..we have come to *know and to believe* the love.' The NIV says '..we have come to *know and rely* on the love.' That is what God wants from us. He wants us to rely on his love to save us and transform us into his image. No mere "performance" of deeds can accomplish that. He's not looking for people to attempt to be like Christ. He's looking for "offspring". Only reliance on His love and faithfulness will yield visible fruits of righteousness. Branches of an apple tree don't struggle to produce apples they simply stay put. While the keeper of the orchard prunes and waters, they rest in their position and they yield apples. People planted in the love of God as revealed in his Son who hung on The Tree (the cross) don't struggle to love, they simply hang their trust on him who hang from that tree as God prunes them. He is the vine we are the branches and only in him can we produce fruits of righteousness. Anything else is simply "dead works" or plastic fruit. No one wants to eat plastic fruit.
@Chris Raynor gal 3 17 says the law of Moses can't dissinherit the hiers of promise I suspect a lot of people who are saved will have no reward because they have changed the gospel gods gift iseternal life to everyone who believes not to everyone who tries if eternal life has anything to do with obeidiance we could boast but God won't have it does the law of moses command obeidiance well Paul said it can't disinherit those who are born again if it could it would be because of sin Paul said it can't read psalm 89 where god says if the children of his firstborn forsake his comm that they will be chastened but God says I will not utterly remove my kindness as in hell legalistic preachers hate the gift of rightousness apart from works because they can't manipulate or control the person who knows heaven is a gift to the undeserving
@Chris Raynor Hebrews says if you don't live holy no man will see the Lord in you. Let your light shine any godliness that is manifested in these corrupt vessels us because of the new birth depart from the faith doesn't mean they were in the faith they heard about it and walked away just like the Jews right after the crucifiction they learned Christ was the true Passover lamb and rejected it the prodigal is a picture of unforgiven men not backslidden Christian's god will save the poorest example of a Christian there is and also condemn the self rightous who outwardly appear to be so but inwardly the spirit ain't there Mormons Jehovah witness Catholics and so on when we look at a lot of these scriptures don't always compare or use them against believers but possibly use them against religious people who in many cases are trying to save themselves they don't believe the death burial and ressurection of Christ saved believers they have to add to it making salvation work kk s and not a gift apart from our just deserts
Actually this man is clever and he's using you he's tricking you he's sending you straight to hell you know True Believer resting in Jesus Christ will ever end up in hell this man is a deceiver in the last day stay away from the sky when he dies he will split hell wide open
@Chris Raynor Theres no contradiction between James and Paul because they are talking about two different contexts . James is talking about how we demonstrate faith before men . Paul is describing being declared ' justified before God .
@Chris Raynor ok so sure if you trust someone your likely to listen and follow them . Ok what does that have to do with faith being the requirement for salvation which happens the moment you believe? The result of believing( salvation ) isn't the means of salvation . Unless you can show me a verse were it says if we don't obey or be baptised we wont be saved ?
The Holy spirit is our convictor ..we should yeild to Him..We must be born again..it's not an intellectual sermon which confuses people ..read your Bible set your affections on things above..we are being saved 🙏
If a true born again believer in Jesus Christ were to go to hell, that means God goes to hell with him. You see, God Himself, in the person of the Holy Spirit, indwells every true believer. We, as His children, are sealed and sanctified until the day of redemption. Loosing one's salvation is one hundred percent impossible. God doesn't move in and then move out. Salvation comes by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior.
Sounds like easy believism to me. Accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior isn't a license to sin for the rest of your life. Otherwise, why would repentance be one of the most frequently occurring themes in the Bible?
With what I just heard, I ask this? Where is the joy I am to have in my salvation? I am weak in the flesh. I need God's Spirit, and I am now measured by Christ, not myself. Lord, make my faith real, because in my faith I am justified.
@Maty Cage, Start reading the Bible daily. Start at Genesis and read till Revelation then rinse and repeat. That is the only place you will find the answers to your questions.
What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2 By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? Romans 6:1,2

Salvation is by faith alone, by grace alone, by belief alone, by trust in the Lord thy God Jesus Christ for the remission of sins alone. You should turn from sin, but turning from sin has nothing to do with salvation. Salvation is by faith alone. If you believe you need to turn from your sins to be saved then your faith is really in yourself to get to heaven.

John writes that we may KNOW that we are saved : 1 John 5:13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. Paul says that believing in his gospel SAVES (not will save): 1 Cor 15:1-4 1 Corinthians 15 King James Version (KJV) 15 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: Once we believe in message we are SEALED for the day of redemption Eph 1 12That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. 13In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. So when we hear the gospel we are saved, first sealed then bought and we may know it.
According to your partial Bible reasoning, we will share space on the streets of gold with all the demons who came out crying, "You are the Son of God!" However, when the full Scriptures are examined, it shows a different picture involving a walk that involves fear and trembling as Paul so warned brethren. But to your view point, take a look below at the Scriptures which, to your view, testify of all the demons in the Bible, who by having believed Jesus is the Son of God, were saved. My my, what a diverse heaven that will be, where evil will still be among the saints because all it took for them to get in heaven was belief that Jesus is the Son of God and Lord. We can look forward to the demons in Luke 4, and the demons in Mark 3 and the demons in Matthew 8 to be side by side with the saints at the Lambs supper, for after all believing is believing and naught more necessary according to such a frame of mind. Luke 4:41 And demons also came out of many, crying, “You are the Son of God!” But he rebuked them and would not allow them to speak, because they knew that he was the Christ. Mark 3:11 And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God. Matthew 8:29 And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time? However, besides the mock heaven, will be a true heaven where naught the foolish man who has such vain beliefs that faith by itself will gain heaven, for all those demons had belief, and so faith, in His Lordship, but certainly all fell short of good works, and none met the requirements of Galatians 5 verse 24 where they nail their natures to the cross, and live with the mind of Christ. No sir, you certainly will never find a demon living with its evil nature nailed, and thinking with the mind of Christ - that is where the line of difference is laid. Only those who truly belong to Jesus are the ones who lived crucified, hence making it obvious belief is not enough, as James so aptly says: James 2:18-20 18Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works; show me thy faith without thy works, and I will show thee my faith by my works. 19Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well. The demons {devils} also believe, and tremble. 20But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
@@viviangendernalik "Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. The publican stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice a week, I give tithes and all that I possess. And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying God be merciful to me a sinner. I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other For every one that exalteth himself shall be abased' and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted." All I am trying to say here is to be very careful that you do not boast in your own righteousness and abilities. I "fear and tremble" lest I become as the Pharisee and trust in my own righteousness. Please do not read into this post that I believe it is OK to live a sinful life, because I do NOT. Every day, we ALL (this includes you) sin in various degrees and we must seek His righteousness to lead us out of besetting sins. If one thinks they have to be TOTALLY SIN FREE to be saved then the law would have provided that opportunity, but it didn't. That is why God required animal sacrifices to free people of their sin. Jesus was the final sacrifice. While I am trying my best to live a godly life I am going to boast in the gift of righteousness that Christ gave to me.
Vivian Gendernalik Are you suggesting that Jesus has ever offered salvation to demons (disembodied spirits)? I doubt. Demons know Jesus (The Word) because Jesus existed before was born in flesh. This is their testimony. None of demons ever demanded to be “saved” because of their belief. By the way, there are many gospels in the Bible. You have to look at times and groups of people. For example, Jesus came only to the “Lost House of Israel”, no to the Gentiles and he was preaching “Kingdom of Heaven”. John the Baptist - preached salvation through baptism and was preparing Israel for Saver’s coming. After Jerusalem and the Temple was destroyed, Jews essentially became as Gentiles - “there is not more Greek nor Jew” and now we are all saved by Paul’s gospel, which is found in 1 Cor 15:1-4. We must believe what Jesus did, not who he was. It seems you believe in “working out your salvation” rather than “salvation as gift from God”. Paul said “all have sinned” and James said “For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all”. If the only way to compensate for the sin was animal sacrifice performed in the temple, how do you want to do that these days? You can’t. What’s more: The law was schoolmaster only. Gal 3 23But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. 24Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster Gentiles were not given law Romans 2 12For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; 13(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. 14For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: 15Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) 16In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.
Matthew 24: 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. Take the Creator's Word first. Those verses you've Charisma-Tricked there? I recall a sermon of a preacher - I think Paul Washer - where he pointed out that, in the Greek that the New Testament books were originally written, the apostle Paul wrote about how we believers are continually being saved until we leave this physical realm. What was John referring to, when he stated that he wrote "these things" so his readers may know that they are saved? 1John 5: 2-3 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. Your Salvation is directly linked to your obedience and your words and works. Mat 24: 44-51 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods. But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Matthew 24's ending and the entire Matthew 25, are about "believers" who obeyed vs who did not obey. So your assurance of Salvation, is to be found in self-searching, whether or not you are still in the faith and obedient to His commandments. John 14: 15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. John 14: 21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. John 14: 23-24 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me. Then, James has something to say here also: James 1: 22-24 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. So, when you do introspection and retrospection of your words and works, should you notice that any does not agree with the Lord's Commandments, let it go, repent and change. Contrary to what the modern church teaches, the oil in the lamps of the ten virgins, is not the Holy Ghost - if you have sinned enough to let Him leave, you have sinned a LOT. There is no patience like the patience of the Holy Ghost. But those whose words and works were pure, to the glory of the Father and Son, and in time fell away from the faith, had better ensure they right their lives before death- or Judgement day; for there will be no righting of wrongs when your physical body is finished down here. You will not enter God's Kingdom on the works of others - He does not run a pyramid scheme. Or as my dad told me, when I decided to become a self-proclaimed satanist in my youth: "You're not going to get into heaven on my and your mother's faith; God has children, no grand children".
@@JFDSmit-rm6tw You have misused and abused every one of those passages. 1. You extract Matthew 24:13 from context to the detriment of its meaning. The chapter is all about end times and what it will take to be *physically* saved at that time. It's nothing at all to do with the Plan of Salvation. 2. 1 John 5: 2-3 is simply oblique to the entire subject and not pertinent to this discussion. 3. The "evil servant" in Matt 24:48 is clearly not a believer but like the Pharisees. 4. James 1: 22-24 tells us to do as the word says. It would be absurd to assert that this means we must obey the 800 commands in the entire Word of God in order to be saved. No one can do that. You do not do that. The "word" referred to here is the gospel, the Plan of Salvation, turning from unbelief to believing God. You conveniently left out Romans 11: 6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. You also left out Matt 7: 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ That's you, buddy, right there in Matt 7:22. Better repent. But you don't know what the word "repent" means, do you. I'll tell you if you want.
I am sorry,, but I know when God saved me from Hells path, I know what He did in my life.... and I know it is a continual working out of my faith each day,,, I know I can do a Judas, But to say that I and every one else who has has God do a miracle in there life is not not saved until judgment day???... I was saved I know day, time circumstances, and the devil will never take that away from me... I can turn my back on God,, but For this lovely gentlman to say he doesnt know that God have pulled him out of Hells Pathway and he is not saved yet???? That is just not scriptural and it is tortureous and I have no witness to that at all. And I will be shouting on the Day of our Lords return, but I am also very grateful for what the Lord has done for me and in me, and I grateful every day for his saving Grace and the growth He blesses me with each day as I learn more and more to listen to the Holy Spirit so God can make the changes He wants in my life.... Does this lovely Gentleman have a teaching on how you share the Gospel of Good news with the unsaved??? I would like to hear his opinion of that... Blessings in the Name of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus the Christ.
1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son Of God. 1 John 5:12 he who has the Son has life, he who does not have the Son Of God does not have life. Hope these scriptures will give someone salvation assurance. Romans 10:9 confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that God hath raised Him Jesus from the dead and you will be saved. This is the rock of Peter's confession that Jesus is the Son of the Living God...The Christ. Jesus is building His church on this rock of confession which ties into perfectly Romans 10:9.
Matthew 7:21-23 Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. MANY will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you (Bible John 1:1 The Word was God); depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!

He is not a heretic, you are just a brainwashed Calvinist. Read the rest of the Bible change church and don't refer to Paul whom you don't understand. Would you give any quote from Jesus as a reference to what you are saying or He is a heretic too. Jesus is going to judge people according to their deeds. The Ark of salvation is not shut yet and people are free to leave if they want to and it has nothing to do with God's faithfulness.
You have to read this chapter ones again but slowly, notice vs 2 and 3 'This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. 'Carrying out his commandments' is crucial. You can't loose your salvation but if you do not bear fruit it will be taken from you.Matthew 21:43 Therefore, I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people that will produce its fruit. That exactly what David Pawson was saying. Read the whole Gospel of Matthew, Jesus says it in almost every chapter and every parable. especially read ch 25. Do you know why foolish virgins did not take the oil? Because people like you told them that it doesn't matter, nothing can happen to them, they can't loose their salvation. So calling some one a heretic watch that you wan't become one.

"Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure. Do all things without grumbling or disputing, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain." Php 2:12-16
Nothing here about losing salvation. 1 cor 3 .15 If any man's work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.
Thank GOD for David. I wish I would have found out about this man a long time ago. He has changed my life by his preaching. He makes the Bible easier to understand.

No, it's because they believe we are saved by faith in Jesus alone..That his death on the cross was sufficient to save us therefore we can't do anything to add to it. We can't earn our salvation. It does not mean that afterward it's okay to deliberately sin..that defeats the whole purpose of why Jesus died for us..to save us from the penalty of sin..death and the power of sin.

Why so many people doesn't understand what he is saying? And then they twist his words and give false testimonies against him, their neighbour... We don't have eternal life in us, it is in Jesus, and IF we don't stay in Him, we don't have eternal life, and then we are not in the way of salvation anymore. I dont think this is works based salvation. You dont act righteously to gain salvation, rather you act righteously BECAUSE you gained salvation. So good works follows you after you gained salvation.
David Pawson does not need me or anyone else to defend him, however he certainly does not teach the "free" gift of eternal life has to be earned! Good works will not win anyone a place in The Father's House, but are part of The Fruits of the Spirit of those who are following Jesus/Yeshua. Jesus said "Go and sin no more". Mr Pawson teaches the scriptural truth that that our Saviour is The Way, The Truth and The Life and that our Creator is Holy and Righteous. Jesus said that He did only what the Father told Him to do, therefore we should do the same. The Bible repeatedly instructs us to OBEY GOD AND KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS. Matthew 7:21-23 Jesus said 'NOT EVERYONE WHO SAYS TO ME "LORD,LORD" SHALL ENTER THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN, BUT HE WHO DOES THE WILL OF MY FATHER IN HEAVEN". MANY WILL SAY TO ME IN THAT DAY 'LORD LORD, HAVE WE NOT PROPHESIED IN YOUR NAME AND CAST OUT DEMONS IN YOUR NAME AND DONE MANY WONDERS IN YOUR NAME?" - And then will I declare to them 'I NEVER KNEW YOU, DEPART FROM ME YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS". Jesus came to reconcile us to Our Creator, that the Father may be glorified and to teach us the way of HOLINESS AND RIGHTEOUSNESS which is the true practice of our Faith. Paul writes about the goal of life - Phil 3: 08- 14 .... that I may....... Not that I have yet attained it, this goal of being Christ like, or have already been made perfect, but I actively press on so that I may take hold of that perfection for which Christ Jesus took hold of me and made me His own. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider that I have made it my own yet, but one thing I do, forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, (14) I press on to win the Heavenly prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus". Heb 3:14 "We have come to share in Christ if we hold firmly to the end the confidence we had at first". 2 Tim 2:12" If we endure we shall also reign with Him. If we disown Him He will also disown us". Matthew 28:19-20."Go and make taught ones......teaching them to guard all I have commanded you..." The Scriptures are not a pick and mix selection, but instruction in the ways of holiness and righteousness. Hebrews 12:14 "Without Holiness no one shall see The Lord!" For anyone believing the popular doctrine of "Once saved always saved", which is inclined to allow the believer to say yes to Jesus then have free reign do whatever he/she pleases, I encourage you to study the scriptures diligently asking The Holy Spirit to bring the truth. Believers are not to live the life of "Russian roulette" - jumping in and out of a life of sin and then doing something good" to win brownie points" but continually press on to the high mark to be like Jesus, obeying The Father and washing our garments in repentance. Jesus is coming for a bride whose garment is without spot or wrinkle/ holy and blameless. The question each professed believer needs to ask himself/herself, is "Was I saved in the first place". The Christian walk is a personal love relationship with Our Creator and Saviour. No one has to lose their salvation - just keep on obeying. The Father's arms are open wide. John 14:15 JESUS SAID "IF YOU LOVE ME YOU WILL KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS".
There is no argument that the gift of eternal life is free. Jesus paid the price for all the sins of the world, that whosoever believeth on His name shall be saved. Believe - pisteuo" in the Greek, means to adhere to, cleave to, to trust,to have faith in, to rely on". That does not mean that those who continue in unrepentant sin shall be saved for "there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh but according to The Spirit". Those who love The Father will keep His commands. Those who believe in Jesus, and are trusting him, relying on Him - having a love relationship with Him will keep His commands and shall be secure in the knowledge that they have been saved, are being saved, and will be saved...... As it is written - "Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling" and.. "Those who endure to until the end shall be saved". Those who truly believe in their heart that He is their Lord and Saviour will desire to walk in His statutes and have no fear of "losing their salvation:" as you put it. It is written "Fear God and keep His commands". No one can snatch us from the Father's hands, but we can certainly jump out of them by our own choice. Readers - please read ALL of John Chapter 15 -( note KJV). Jesus said "I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch IN ME that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit"................... Abide in me.......vs 6 "If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch and is withered; and men gather them and cast them into the fire, and they are burned". If Jesus said it, it is good enough for me.
It is written that "ALL have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God".That's why we human beings need a Redeemer! "The gospel BELIEVER?" Jesus said "My sheep know my voice and they follow me". Our Redeemer continues to lead us in the way everlasting and shall continue to refine us as we hearken unto His voice. Readers - read Rev Chapter 22 - pay special attention to vs 11 - 15. vs 11.He who does wrong, let him do more wrong; he who is filthy, let him be more filthy; he who is righteous, let him be more righteous; he who is set apart, let him be more set apart" vs.14 "Blessed are those doing His commands, so that the authority shall be theirs unto the tree of life and to enter through the gates into the city".vs 15 But outside are the dogs and those who enchant with drugs, and those who whore, and the murderers, and the idolater, and all who love and do falsehood". Let He who has ears to hear, let him hear. Clearly, if we are truly born again then we cannot continue indulging in sin with the attitude "I've been saved and am going to Heaven no matter what". The Price has been paid for all of mankind and it is not The Father's will that any should perish but that all shall know the salvation which He has provided for us, however it is also written that some are bound for perdition! The Father has given mankind freedom of choice. Choose this day whom you shall serve. Be encouraged to read the book of Romans - Chaper 12 is wonderful instruction for us all! Every person is entitled to his/her opinion, however HIS TRUTH endureth forever; we shall all meet The Righteous Judge one day and very likely all be in for a surprise. Praying blessings upon us all as we continue to search and seek - may we all come to love and honour The One who is Truth - and know the truth which sets us free. This is my final contribution on this thread and I bid thee all, farewell.
David Fleming The preacher in the video does not reject the free gift of eternal life and he is not teaching that you will not be saved when you believe the gospel. He is teaching how believers should ought to live their lives in accordance to the will of God after they are saved by His grace. And it is very certain that one can lose his salvation if he choose to deny God and forsake his faith, because he is free to do it by his own freedom of will. You said that-- "if one could lose eternal life, then the gift was never eternal to begin with" However, you probably don't realized that all men are born to live forever. Both the saved people of God and the unsaved, they are going to live forever separately in eternity future. The question is; where are they going to spend this life in eternity. Everything you said is true. But all your arguments falls into the pretext of the assumption that one can never lose his salvation (but only) if he continues to be faithful with God after he is saved by His grace.
You get salvation upon the second you come to Jesus, if not, why does God seal the believer with the Holy Spirit? Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Ephesians 1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. Once you are sealed by the Holy Spirit you remain sealed until God redeems you, Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
God was, is and will be which is why I think salvation is described in all three tenses in the Bible. The salvation we enjoy now is the limited relationship we have with Him through Holy Spirit. A mere glimmer of the relationship we will have with Him when we are in His Presence on that day.
Jesus didn’t have to go through with it. He could have said, “No, I can’t do it.” And angels would have rescued him but he went through it because his Father wanted him to go through it.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not "PERISH", but have "EVERLASTING LIFE". Once again people are relying on pastors and theologians to define the Bible.
And you are also. But you forgot that David asked God not to take the Holy Spirit also didn't you.? Strange God told me we could lose the Holy Spirit. And you are a denominational. The fake Faith grace gospel.
Once Saved Always Saved is true. You are preaching a works-based salvation. You need to put your faith in the blood of Christ ONLY for the forgiveness of sins, do not put your faith in yourself.
@@MrWise_Christian However we have to abide in Jesus and listen to the Holy Spirit. See Hebrew 6:6 and 10:26. If we fail to abide in Jesus and do whatever we like to do then we are just like dogs eat what they spit and pigs go back to dirt after cleaning. We must follow the teaching of Christ so as to abide in Him.
This is a works salvation being preached! Any "believer" who turns away from the faith never was saved to begin with! Jesus isn't going to say 'i used to know you and now I don't, He is going to say 'I NEVER knew you!'
Then the whole Bible based on works, Paul taught it,Jesus warns about it..its not your works, but the Holy Spirit that dwells in you..if we dont obey God there is punishment..Revelation 22:18-19, John ch 15, Romans ch 11. 17 But if (S)some of the branches were broken off, and you, (T)although a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing root[c] of the olive tree, 18 do not be arrogant toward the branches. If you are, remember it is not you who support the root, but the root that supports you. 19 Then you will say, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.” 20 That is true. They were broken off because of their unbelief, but you (U)stand fast through faith. So (V)do not become proud, but (W)fear. 21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you. 22 Note then the kindness and the severity of God: severity toward those who have fallen, but God's kindness to you, (X)provided you continue in his kindness. Otherwise (Y)you too will be cut off. We must remain in Jesus, we will continue to sin, but we cannot continue to live in habitual sin, salvation is journey that one must endure till the end.
@@outofthisworld8037 Anyone who is truly saved WILL endure to the end. Remaining in the faith and continuing in belief is the inevitable outcome of receiving the Holy Spirit! Anyone who doesn't continue in the faith never was saved to begin with.

love Mr Pawson... have learned alot from him... I do disagree with this teaching though... We can't work ourselves to heaven.. Jesus said I give them eternal life & no one shall snatch them from my hand. Our good deeds are nothing but filthy wrags to the lord... I don't mean to say a true Christian shouldn't have good works. I just believe good works come from our salvation... naturally. The more we learn of the true person and works of Christ the more we see how much he truly loves us. We can't help but share that love. but it isn't what we do or have done but what he does and has done for us... it's his glory all of it...
Josh Lane I don't think he is saying 'works' as in charity but rather 'works' as in obedience to God. Otherwise we would all enter heaven sinning our way there....it doesn't make logical sense. You can't have it both ways. I believe Mr. Pawson is spot on.
Grace Y We are all sinners. if we could lose our salvation by sin what good would it be.... because none of us can ever be good enough or obedient enough.... the Bible itself points to this. Every major figure in the Bible had sin in their lives... I am not saying we don't strive to be obedient and faithful but to say we can lose that salvation is to say Christ's death and resurrection didn't fully redeem us... God is faithful he will never leave you! The prodical son is called home and welcomed... when you are truly saved I do not believe the blood of Christ can be washed away... I believe the devil wants you to think you aren't good enough to keep you from achieving gods true purpose for your life.... Christ done it all! it's his glory. We can't believe it's anything we done because it lessons our dependency on Christ.
Josh Lane My friend I understood we will never be good enough. That's where grace falls into place. There is no way I can accept Christ in my life but continue to fornicate and expect God to accept me. He knows our hearts and he wants us to deny our fleshly desires. it is very dangerous in my opinion to be so assured of salvation. I know it's what everybody wants to hear but it just doesn't make sense. God bless you.
Grace Y God bless you bud! I don't think it's proper to continue in sin either. We can agree to disagree on if we can lose our salvation. But hope you have a wonderful day brother!
No He doesn't. He has a false works based salvation where it rests on what man does and doesnt do and NOT what Christ has done. Very easy to discern if you have the Holy Spirit.

pastor david pawson is not rejecting eternal life...he s like peter hu contenuesly hoping or believing that one day he s going to receive his gift the eternal life 1 peter 1:5 who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 1 peter 1:9 receiving the end of your faith-the salvation of your souls.
I have noticed something. People who strive for the narrow gate will accept this message. But people who want to keep their sin reject it... Don't be the the latter. Strive to enter by the narrow gate that leads to eternal life. Even when you are doing a terrible job at it, keep striving.
@@nat4889 And what about your fruits? Are you striving for holiness or do you needn't bother since you're already "saved"?
(Not saying Jesus not saved because only God knows)

Years ago before I learned what brother David is teaching I was warned by a preacher who didn’t even know me, that God will destroy those who are his but are disobedient,

So I praise God for men like brother David who warn and teach the truth not The tickling of the years that produces wimpy crispy Christians.
I know I would never recover from what I had and lost but I’d prefer to enter the kingdom of God with nothing and keep my salvation.
Are you doing better now?
Ummm, David is preaching salvation can lost based on YOUR actions.

Well that is not accurate, you can loose your inheritance but not you sonship, parable of the prodigal son.
The Bible states in James 2:10
For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, *he is guilty of all.*
We sin everyday and we will sin everyday to the day of redemption or our death, anyone who states they are not sinners are liars anyone who states *THEY* themselves have overcome their sins are deceivers and liars, blasphemous rejecters of Jesus Christ in their own works of the Law that has never justified any flesh.
I encourage you to consider Salvation by faith not of works of the Law

One of the most sobering and thought provoking sermons I have ever listened too. So thankful for Godly men like this man . Thank you for posting .
This man is a liar. He is preaching Jesus cannot keep you saved, he is preaching that saved people can still end up in hell.
You can lose your salvation if you don't abide in Him.
If you couldn’t forfeit your salvation the epistles would never have been written

Hebrews 5:8 Although He was a Son He learned obedience from what He suffered and once made perfect, He became the source of eternal salvation for all who OBEY Him.

You are preaching a works-based salvation.
You need to put your faith in the blood of Christ ONLY for the forgiveness of sins, do not put your faith in yourself.
Awesome Message! Glad to hear a message from someone who cares enough to allow the LORD to work through them.

@@matthewhughes3749 He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.
Revelation 3:5 NKJV
Yet now, if You will forgive their sin-but if not, I pray, blot me out of Your book which You have written.”
Exodus 32:32 NKJV
Bible does not ever meant our name is written in the book of life once we accept Jesus as Lord and Savior.
Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV
Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,
I Timothy 4:1 NKJV
We can NOT depart of the faith that we never have it in the first place.

@@johntrevett2944 his teaching is very sound. Please read your Bible in a sincere manner and you'll see just this. We have works to do to be saved.
This is an eye opener. God bless Pastor David

What a wonderfu teaching ! Mr.Pawson more Blessing. Thank you Jesusu ! That you help me to hear the truth !
To God be the glory!

oRedRaider You will undoubtedly feel the very same about Derek Prince!
Elliot...go read Proverbs 3 dear one. Very important and pertinent to what you shared.
Sobering. I would so much like to keep my free ticket, but Philp 2:12 comes to mind:
"...as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling..."
Note the verbs: 'obey', 'work'.
Philippians 1:6 says something very comforting,
_ "And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns."_
I think that verse is telling us to rely on God's faithfulness to complete us.
*Joh **6:28**-29 ESV* _Then they said to him, “What must we do, to be doing the works of God?” (29) Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”_
That's my job...to believe, to rely on, to entrust myself to the Lamb of God who takes away my sin. (Romans 8:35)
*1Jn **4:15**-18 ESV* _Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love._
John said '..we have come to *know and to believe* the love.' The NIV says '..we have come to *know and rely* on the love.' That is what God wants from us.

Oh HOW I LOVE the Biblical TRUTH being Preached by our dear Pastor David Pawson xxx
Justification is by faith ,and faith is trust and obey -- so no contradiction between James and Apostle Paul.
Faith is believe / trust .
@Chris Raynor Theres no contradiction between James and Paul because they are talking about two different contexts . James is talking about how we demonstrate faith before men . Paul is describing being declared ' justified before God .
Trust .............obey . Not' trustobey ' its ' believe alone. Trust alone .
@Chris Raynor I was saved the moment I believed/ trusted in Jesus for my sins . Afterwards things happened as a natural response to believing .
Mary Cage Amen
@Maty Cage, Start reading the Bible daily. Start at Genesis and read till Revelation then rinse and repeat. That is the only place you will find the answers to your questions.

I’m a pastor from the hispanic caribbean and I have been very blessed with Doctor Pawson’s teachings.
As you live near his house if you have the chance to see him give him a hug and my respect.
And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
Once Saved Always Saved is true.
You are preaching a works-based salvation.
You need to put your faith in the blood of Christ ONLY for the forgiveness of sins, do not put your faith in yourself.
John writes that we may KNOW that we are saved :
1 John 5:13
I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.
Paul says that believing in his gospel SAVES (not will save):
1 Cor 15:1-4
1 Corinthians 15 King James Version (KJV)
15 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Once we believe in message we are SEALED for the day of redemption
Eph 1
12That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
Luke 4:41
And demons also came out of many, crying, “You are the Son of God!” But he rebuked them and would not allow them to speak, because they knew that he was the Christ.
Mark 3:11
And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God.
Matthew 8:29
And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?
However, besides the mock heaven, will be a true heaven where naught the foolish man who has such vain beliefs that faith by itself will gain heaven, for all those demons had belief, and so faith, in His Lordship, but certainly all fell short of good works, and none met the requirements of Galatians 5 verse 24 where they nail their natures to the cross, and live with the mind of Christ. No sir, you certainly will never find a demon living with its evil nature nailed, and thinking with the mind of Christ - that is where the line of difference is laid. Only those who truly belong to Jesus are the ones who lived crucified, hence making it obvious belief is not enough, as James so aptly says:
James 2:18-20
18Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works; show me thy faith without thy works, and I will show thee my faith by my works.
I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other For every one that exalteth himself shall be abased' and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted."
All I am trying to say here is to be very careful that you do not boast in your own righteousness and abilities.
John the Baptist - preached salvation through baptism and
was preparing Israel for Saver’s coming.
You can’t.
What’s more:
The law was schoolmaster only.
Gal 3
23But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. 24Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster
Gentiles were not given law
Romans 2
12For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; 13(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
1John 5: 2-3
By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
Your Salvation is directly linked to your obedience and your words and works.
Mat 24: 44-51
Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
John 14: 23-24
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
Then, James has something to say here also:
James 1: 22-24
But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
You conveniently left out Romans 11:
6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
You also left out Matt 7:
22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
That's you, buddy, right there in Matt 7:22. Better repent.
But you don't know what the word "repent" means, do you. I'll tell you if you want.
I am so blessed by david pawsons teachings
Janina Simons listen to the video... the Bible talks about being saved in 3 tenses.
Why aren't people read the Word completely and continuously? It is not those who says "Lord, Lord, who get saved but those who does My Will."

Eph 2:8-9 does not teach what you are inferring.
So calling some one a heretic watch that you wan't become one.

salvation, by faith....evidenced by fruits.....Galatians, or works, James....
So Christians just believe and then after that go and sin and do whatever you like? Is that what people against David Pawson are saying?
Wayne Hampson yep people live their sin and we will say and do something to justify them without the Holy Spirit.
@@joolspools777 anything which you add on with the finished work of Christ says that you don't believe the blood of Christ doesn't cover your sins so you start working out your own salvation that is contradicting the Bible.

In John it says that 'we may know' we have eternal life. How can we KNOW we have eternal life if we CAN'T know?
@pathstogodbyfaithcom You say: _"What does the words for ever, eternal life, everlasting life mean to you?"_
Eternal life/ everlasting life means eternal & everlasting life... But this life is in Jesus, we don't have that live, we can only have this life by abiding in the true vine, which is Jesus, who possess eternal life.
Jesus words:
*"I am the true vine,* and My Father is the husbandman. it is only by grace.
this is lordship salvation
Titus 3:5
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
I dont think this is works based salvation.
You dont act righteously to gain salvation, rather you act righteously BECAUSE you gained salvation. So good works follows you after you gained salvation.
God bless David pawson!! I am so blessed with his teaching
Anyone that teaches a born-again believer can lose salvation is a heretic and is to be marked and avoided.
David Fleming
The preacher in the video does not reject the free gift of eternal life and he is not teaching that you will not be saved when you believe the gospel. He is teaching how believers should ought to live their lives in accordance to the will of God after they are saved by His grace. And it is very certain that one can lose his salvation if he choose to deny God and forsake his faith, because he is free to do it by his own freedom of will.
You said that--
"if one could lose eternal life, then the gift was never eternal to begin with"
However, you probably don't realized that all men are born to live forever.
God bless you David

@@rinaboffa5197 yea that's not true.
@@abashedsanctimony154 Yes it is true. He is saying salvation can be lost based on our part. Thats a lie from hell.
I don't think God is going to bless this man he is cursed
I have often pondered something he touched on here. Is salvation not actually something you have? But something you WILL HAVE.
You get salvation upon the second you come to Jesus, if not, why does God seal the believer with the Holy Spirit? Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
Ephesians 1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
He could have said, “No, I can’t do it.” And angels would have rescued him but he went through it because his Father wanted him to go through it.
temporarysanity . That’s right. God is never wrong. Any one who doubts God’s word is already lost. They are under the control of Satan.
I thank the Lord for giving the church a godly teacher like Brother David Pawson who is sent to edify the Body of Christ.
Thank you for the message, Pastor David Pawson. The LORD bless you and keep you strong physically and spiritually for His works.
This message is from Satan.
What a glorious presentation of the gospel message!
Even to those who believe on His name.
Agree what Dr. Pawson teaching.
Once Saved Always Saved is true.
You are preaching a works-based salvation.
Then the whole Bible based on works, Paul taught it,Jesus warns about it..its not your works, but the Holy Spirit that dwells in you..if we dont obey God there is punishment..Revelation 22:18-19, John ch 15,
Romans ch 11. 17 But if (S)some of the branches were broken off, and you, (T)although a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing root[c] of the olive tree, 18 do not be arrogant toward the branches.
@@stephenclayden21 wrong brother...read the bible in context ..ansaved person cannot be grafted onto the olive tree...unsaved person cannot be cut off...romans warns..revelation warns...how can you have your name written when you're not saved...blessings to you brother..
@@outofthisworld8037 But Jesus promises to NEVER blot our names out of the book of life if they are written. And Romans 11 is talking about the unbelief of the Jews. The olive tree is Israel. Again, a truly saved born again believer will never turn from their belief!
@@stephenclayden21 but do you read what he says before that?...He says whoever overcomes He won't bloat out...but then He warns one of the 7 churches if they dont repent He will spit them out of His mouth...its a warning, if we stay in His word, He is faithful to deliver us..plus Jesus never says He will remove people's names....He explicitly says that Father will remove...John ch6 and ch15 talk about that. Read the Bible with guidance of Holy Spirit and you will understand...Romans 11 is not talking about jews only...read it again..he says and now I write to you gentiles...you have been grafated into the olive tree..but if you get proud and fall from your belief, you also will be cut off...If God didn't spare the original branch, He definitely won't spare you...its as clear as a day...Blessings
This man is a great godly man!
Mark Phillips yes I do. I bought David’s book,”Once saved, always saved?”
@@Francine1117 Oh he is soooooo Godly, he will take you to hell with him.
Brother David Pawson is a rare man of God that loves , studies and obeys the word of God. Lord bless you
love Mr Pawson... have learned alot from him...
Josh Lane
I don't think he is saying 'works' as in charity but rather 'works' as in obedience to God.
Josh Lane
My friend I understood we will never be good enough.
David Pawson has the correct view of salvation as opposed to the false fast-spreading gospel that doesn't change people.
No He doesn't. He has a false works based salvation where it rests on what man does and doesnt do and NOT what Christ has done. Very easy to discern if you have the Holy Spirit.
@@johntrevett2944 Did not Christ come to save people from their sins, not in their sins?
@@koolkat7932 Christ saved all men who come to him & their sins are no more remembered. This means ALL sins were already judged at the cross,
Colossians 2:11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
Colossians 2:12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
Colossians 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
Colossians 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
