Yeah if your super tight this will work.... but if you can sit with your back straight up and both feet directly out in front of you without feeling a stretch. This most likely will not work for you. It is super relaxing and anxiety reducing though! 🙃

my god😭i’m only 15 years old and i’ve had to do extensive research on how to loosen my hamstrings because im so stiff! i’ve always been super flexible i don’t know why my body is doing this so early. I almost passed out from how painful it is to touch my toes with my legs straight😂
I use to be able to do a handstand but now I can’t so I really hope this works cuz if it does I can start stretching again ( I think I have tight hamstrings because I can’t even sit in a right angle)

Than you, I noticed that to keep my legs fully extended, I have to move back quite away from the wall, is the exercise still effective? Or is better staying closer to the wall with legs bended? Sorry for my not perfect english😅
It’s ok to be far from the wall if it’s a challenging stretch. Keep legs straight and move closer to the wall as it gets better.

I just sit on the floor with my back against the front of the couch. I can't flatten the backs of my knees to the ground without feeling an uncomfortable stretch. I'm always tight behind the knees, not up in the muscle above the knee/below the butt.

Its ok for super tight people but if you are at least a little flexible it wont help you at all. No pain no gain, there are no easy solutions. Stretching hurts :)
Agreed 💯 but I found most people are tight enough for this to be more than enough
