That come back was unbelievable. I was at work and couldn't watch the game fully but when I heard the score going into the 8th my heart sank thinking we weren't going to make it. But then that all changed moments later.
+Obivious Truth I got my tickets for $44 when they first went on sale. Same for the ALDS tickets. NOW, I can't get them at all. Best sports moment of my life being at that game.
Can't believe it's been a full year. Watching this brought it all back, man. Got me emotional haha. Don't know if I'll ever see a more thrilling, unbelievable sporting event.
Still the best display of TEAMWORK I've ever seen in sports. These players weren't playing for themselves, they were playing for each other and the whole city of Kansas City. Beautiful job catching all the sights, sounds and emotions of the ball park through the music and timing. This night will always be one of my favorite nights to look back on
Hey KC.......you're WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS!!!! Even though I'm an Orioles fan, I still admire great baseball.....wow. This game back in 2014 was something out of a Hollywood movie.....wow. Always was a fan of George Brett....so great to see that last year's playoff run was no fluke. Bravo, KC Royals!!!!!
I'm a die hard Yankees fan, but that game was so unbelievable. Such a talented group. Watching them in the playoffs really made me start to like them a lot. I was devastated when they lost game 7, but it was such an amazing run.
Should've included a slow-mo clip of Donaldson just BARELY missing the ball on Perez's walk-off hit, Other than that, this is the greatest video I've ever seen
Kansas City reminded me of my team in 2010-2011 (Texas Rangers) which rose from outta no where to being powerhouses in baseball. Only difference, y'all got the job done!
I'm a Reds fan, but I remember watching this game live and it was something else. The Royals have been one of the great stories over the past few years and a shining example of what smaller market franchises can achieve.
Can anyone name a team that seems to come back in late innings like the Royals have done the past 2-3 years? They were doing it in 2014 and are still doing it in 2016, it's magical to witness and must be frustrating to teams playing against them
The Cubs seem to be doing it a ton this year and the Yankees did it a ton in 2009. The Orioles also had a lot of magic recently. I guess the great teams know how to win games.
The music is heavy handed and doesn't flow with the highlights; it's a bit distracting. Other than that, the selection of plays to highlight is insightful and captures the spirit of the game quite nicely.
As a Giants fan, this is an amazing game! My family (also Giant fans) were rooting hard for the Royals because they hate the A's (I respect them though). I don't think they counted on the Royals meeting the Giants in the World Series. LOL. Great game.

+James Cline how could you be at work? First playoff game in 29 years, did not know if it will ever happen again...you missed history man
+Obivious Truth I was a temp. couldn't call in or I'd be fired
that sucks, luckily i was able to take the day off, and i bought standing room only for 100 bucks, stood for over 7 hours, worth it!

I'm going to the ALDS game 1 on Oct. 8

Can we have manny machado please?
+colderbeer Very kind comment and post. I would have rooted for the Orioles in the WS had we lost to them last year.
One of the best games I've ever seen. Great editing job too man!
This is the most complete and best quality highlight video I've found. Excellent job. I plan on watching this a few times a year pretty much forever.
Best baseball game I ever watched -- perhaps the greatest sporting event I've ever watched.
Goosebumps watching this again. Thanks for the video :)
As an A's fan... this hurt.
Perfect edition ♥
Awesome video. THE game that started it all.
You need more credit for this. Beautifully edited and super entertaining to watch.
I'm a die hard Yankees fan, but that game was so unbelievable. Such a talented group. Watching them in the playoffs really made me start to like them a lot. I was devastated when they lost game 7, but it was such an amazing run.
R.I.P Yordano Ventura.
Best baseball game I will ever personally witness no question
Should've included a slow-mo clip of Donaldson just BARELY missing the ball on Perez's walk-off hit,
Other than that, this is the greatest video I've ever seen
as an A's fan watching this, it was sad. they were so good to start off 2014. then the cespedes trade. then this.
As a Royals fan, I'm glad he was traded. It allowed us to win both this game, and the 2015 WS.
The Moneyball music at the end is a nice touch.
Seeing Yordano Ventura in this video almost made me cry. RIP Ace
if only moss could be this powerful now that he's on the royals
P.S. great vid been a royals fan since i was born

Except KC had a championship and a Parade!! and Texas went down after cruz did not make the catch in game 6...
@@Michiganrailfan I think that's what he was talking about boyo
Forever Royal.
I'm a Reds fan, but I remember watching this game live and it was something else. The Royals have been one of the great stories over the past few years and a shining example of what smaller market franchises can achieve.
One of the most incredible baseball games I've ever seen and I am not a Royal OR an A's fan.
R.I.P. Ace
A truly breathtaking game, and the perfect soundtrack to go along with it. Very well done video.
Very well done video. I loved it!
As an editor myself, that was a pretty damn good video! So far best wild card game there is!
R I P Ace 30 😔
Even non Royals fans have to admit this is one of the best postseason games in baseball history.
What. A. Game.

When the Royals are good, they're REALLY good but when they're bad they're REALLY bad. lol
As a Padres fan this was an awesome game
Go Royals!
the most important is to keep fighting
The music is heavy handed and doesn't flow with the highlights; it's a bit distracting. Other than that, the selection of plays to highlight is insightful and captures the spirit of the game quite nicely.
you just have to understand the beat and the actions of the game
This seems like it was just yesterday.
Bro, you gotta make one of these epic soundtracked videos for the Chiefs!
They will be back... The farm is top 5.. In Moore I trust.
I love the superman man of steel music!
+Justin Humenik loser

Kansas City Royals Franchise History is now divided into two categories. BWC and AWC. This game was like the coming of "Baseball Christ"
the poor catcher was getting stole on all night and nothing he could do to stop it
what is the song in this video?
There's a lot of songs, what part of the game is the song you were talking about?
Clark you should put a few more at bats for Perez for more suspense. One bat is not enough. I liked the rest though. Thanks
One person is an A's fan.
+Joey Lopes Actually I think Josh Donaldson voted this down...twice.
Song?

This is so cool!
Put the ball in play. Get on base. And *run like hell*.
All I could think of the whole time was that Derrick Norris is an awful catcher.
This is one case where the bad guys won
