Just moved from my townhouse in Blaine to a new construction in Blaine. Love it here. It’s just far enough away from the cities to get away from all the crime, but it’s just close enough to not have a super long commute to work. The traffic like you said has gotten much worse. I think the population has almost doubled since I originally moved here.
More on Bloomington: Crime is largely rooted in and around the Mall of America, which naturally brings about higher crime stats. Also I’d say a lot of 50s and 60s homes are near Richfield and East Blooomington. Meanwhile central and west Bloomington have the custom 70s+ homes. West Bloomington is an absolutely desirable area and more affluent.
Do I have firsthand experience personally living in every one of the neighborhoods/cities in the 35 mile radius I serve - no. Have I lived in and worked all around the Twin Cities for the last 15+ years and do I sell twice as many homes around the metro as the average agent every year? Yes, yes I do. Cheers. 🍻

Congrats on the move! And with that Blaine is doing with their new downtown and Hwy 65 projects, it's going to be AWESOME! 🔥
Just a side note. Burnsville Mall is ghost town, most of the stores there have closed down.
Good to know!

I do like the west side of Bloomington a lot. Just sold a cool two story over there last summer.
Don’t forget the Eagan outlet mall
I've never made it in there! Need to sometime I suppose. You like it?
You seem unfamiliar with the Metro; you've got good statistics, but might not have firsthand experience with many of the areas

Yikes, buyer beware. This guy has no clue about Minnesota.
😂 Thanks for your comment!
Tom Laing real estate is better!
Retention rate?! People staying in the same small town where they went to high school? What kind of folksy, provincial BS is this?!
Ya lost me. 🥴

Not sure what you're referencing.
