Im gonna be starting this game once it comes to gamepass next week, any tips for builds or things to do right away, ive seen some builds I'm interested in but none of them actually explained how to get any of the gear or which dungeons to go to, theyre just like this is the skill tree this is the gear and leave it at that. So it seems a little confusing to say the least
Yeah, outside of the uniques target farming is not a really a thing and that mostly happens in very end-game. You don't need to worry much about and endgame build until world tier 3&4. The early game can be crushed out with most gear, following a leveling guide can help and they usually include aspects that you can get from doing certain dungeons and then imprinting from the Codex of Power. Check out Maxroll.gg for leveling builds. The Codex of power only gives you the lowest roll of the aspect and that is changing in season 4, so for now, in endgame you will want to find legendaries that drop with better rolls and either use that piece or pull off the aspect. Those legendaries can drop anywhere but will be higher item power where the monster level is high, primarily found by pushing higher Nightmare Dungeons and also by bossing. Hopefully that will get you pointed in the right direction. So, I would just pick a build and then find the leveling build for that class and you will be well on your way.

@@OwnModeGaming I was thinking about doing the blizzard build I've seen a lot of people have success with, I'll be playing with a couple friends who are also new to the game. So I was thinking that blizzard might be a good build to help support as it's a large aoe from the gameplay I've seen and would also allow me to have a decent time when I'm playing solo as well

What make Diablo 4 unplayable for me. 1. Altar of Lilith, this should be remove from the game. Why? Between someone who start and someone who play since the beginning you already have a gap so large to fill and it's boring to do. So remove this. 2. Renown. Remove this also, make no sens in an ARPG to have this, This is a boring and useless mechanic. 3. Build are so simple until you hit 50 then you start a second game... why? Why is the paragon system do not start at level 2. 4. No end game and repetitive game play. 5. Class are boring, you have to play what the game tell you to play.
1. I totally agree, I did not enjoy this forced mechanic to see the map. If it had been just an accomplishment that was optional sure, but it gives to many skills points to skip.
2. This wasn't as bad as the alters but it wasn't fun either.
3. Yeah, I don't like the cliff drop-offs where what I have done with my gear is suddenly mostly worthless and it happens in WT3 and 4
4. Agree, I'm extremely hopeful for season 4 changes in itemization. From what I have seen it is going to completely change the endgame for the better. Crafting gives us worthwhile pursuits that isn't look at a thousand pieces of junk and maybe find an upgrade.
5. Those, I do like those and I also enjoy playing games that don't have tight class rails, like Path of Exile.
@@OwnModeGamingMy fifth one was maybe a long shot for sure. But all my other point are core part of the game and really hard to fix. Lets take PoE, LE and Diablo 4 start a new season experience. In Poe the difference between a newbie and an experience player is knowledge and also in LE, you have knowledge over a new friend that just start the game. So if you play together it's possible to help your friend to match you. But in Diablo 4, You start with 10 skill pts and he start with 1.. You can't teacvh him how to be better and match you... He need to do a Chore before and can start to play on a same level as you. The pure concept of the game where because you have play more then your friend you have character bonus make no sens in gaming. Knowledge is something else, you are better because you know what will happen and you can teach this to your friends, but bonus on your character is STUPID.
@@seb4sti4n666 That makes sense. I personally don't mind the bonus points but i would like a more interesting way to acquire them. I like having benefits for alts once you have earned them with an endgame character and since there really isn't twink gear, its the best of what we have in D4 but I definitely want to see a more interesting way to earn them.
why do you need so much stuff in your stash? wth man.. hoarder alert. salvage all that crap or extract max aspects..
