I was dying a lot when I entered world tier 4. Another tip could be to focus on reaching the armor cap and fire resist cap asap. It was so much easier after.
true, that maiden skill when she touch the ground and speard out the fire kill me more than anything else

I would suggest focusing on life tbh as the cap for armour is around 9250 in season 4 (which is very easy to achieve) failing the look for pieces with live on kill and you should be fine 😊

I made a SELF RULE...DO NOT ENTER BLOOD MAIDEN battle with 300, 400, 500 cinders - go get my dam box first! I have wrecked my game over this 😂
I totally agree. It's a good rule.
I came to say same thing I was getting so mad hahaha, I either focus on cinders & boxes or Blood Maiden.
In the Maiden fight, if you pick up items and then drop them on the ground before you portal back to town, then you'll come back on the same server in the same fight. Cheers! Love your videos!

Bonus tip: When you're running the fight over and over, pick up everything. Make two piles just outside the fight area, one for rare and one for legendaries, and keep the Unique and Greater Affix gear. After a bunch of fights, then go to town and back a few times to sort/sell/salvage all the piles. You'll get ~1 million gold per tab of the rares. I think of it like choosing between running across across the map to open a mystery chest vs 'opening a chest' of gold right there.

Hey! Nice guide:D I have kind of a noob question here.. I started to play again since yesterday after a very long time. I chose the skip campaign option, and should I go straight to helltides or do the 5 regions progress first? (for the skill/paragon points) Cheers!
If you had ever done the renown to get the skill points it should still be there. Either way I would still start in helltides and just pick up quests, grab close by waypoints and hit the alters of Lilith as you play the helltides. Eventually you may have to just focus on the alters to get them all.
Thanks for verifying that mindcage works in parallel with elixirs instead of one overwriting the other.

@@OwnModeGaming so far id rank the seasons from best to worst: 4, 2, 1, release, 3. i am still in world tier 3, so boss ladder might get boring as i doubt ill try to push the pit. ive only gotten 1 char to 100 in season 2, the rest i gave up and got bored before getting to 100.
holding the cinders gives me too much anxiety lol
Good thing is they made is very easy to get past 300+ cinders.

I totally understand. I was testing the hold till the end method and as I got over 1000, I did not feel solid. Especially, since I was running maiden battles and she has surprised me more than once.
I went to Wt4 super early there was definitely no holding on at that point lol
@OwnModeGaming I recently found your channel and I dont know why you don't have more subs, your explanations are perfect.
Blood Maiden will one shot you with the Mindcage, even if you are pretty tanky. So I try to stay away from her when using them. Some of the Hellborne can be rough too while you are leveling if your gear or build aren't that strong yet. Usually you can just mount up and run away from them but sometimes you get trapped and the Rogue is ranged and can kill you fast.
I could see that being the case, but in each world tiers I felt I got to a place pretty quick that made that not the case. I was playing necros and they are pretty op right now. I'm going druid next, so maybe that will be different.

Main tip is, be a minion focused Necro build = easy mode

In your new video tips, you talk about using the ashes for obuls. When do you start doing that instead of for xp?
I actually moved it from XP to glyph XP and when I was ready to move it to obols so I could gamble or better yet keep holy bolts in stock. I had enough to keep it in XP and just move some of the points from glyph XP to obols. Shortly after that I had enough ash to have all 3 full. Hope that is all clear.
You lvl super fast with these. I get about 12 to 13 paragon points each helltide
It's pretty solid. They are saying NMD are faster but it didn't feel like it. Other that I leveled my glyphs.
The gear left on the ground goes to your chest now if you change instants.
It definitely does, at least legendary’s, boss mats, and a few other things but it does have a limit and will start to delete older ones if you don’t grab them often.

Does mind cage buff come off if you die?
I don't know for sure, but I don't think it does. I did notice a couple times that it would disappear when there was plenty of time left and wouldn't return even if I was back in helltides. I'll test it today and see what happens. If anybody else knows, please let us know here.
Just tested it and it does go away when you die. 🙁
My only question is how is your boost of paragon glyph xp at 32% when only 2 ashes have been put in to that boost? That should only give a 10% boost
I'm boosting 20% and you can move the ashes around
Super informative, mate! Half of this stuff I was already doing, but the validation is key for me that I'm being efficient. I'm having a blast in season 4.
On a side note, i dont know if its helpful to you but I really think you have a great relaxed style too your videos, a lot of people are to intense and i struggle following along. Just wanted to say thanks.

Necros or Barb are truly insane this season. I love that we finally got minions that are awesome!
Heh, with my necro minion build, I went from level 1 to 75 in a weekend and I wasn’t even trying, minions are decimating everything on-screen, it’s such fun. I did use two stacked potions, incense and the seasonal dust buffs to really push out the rate of XP gain
If u pick up gear then drop it it anchors you to that server when u port to town n bak

Lol I've never played hard-core
Alot of youtubers are telling their viewers to pop the iron wolf caches as soon as you get them. But dont even grab them until you reach T3, it takes about 45 ish levels to be prepared for T3 and its only about 6 hours of grinding to acbieve. If you pop them as soon as you reach T3 you are guaranteed a full set of sacred gear. And youll immediately be ready for T3 helltide after optimizing them.
I was on T3 helltife at lvl 42 because of this as a pyromancer sorcerer
I have tested it both ways and I don't really have a preference. Endgame has so much gear that I think it's a wash. Play it how you enjoy it! If you want cool boost as you go then open, if you want to get op in endgame fast save them till then. The biggest benefit if you are holding them is to wait.
You’re guaranteed a full set of sacred gear if you save your obols and spend it as soon as you hit T3 anyway. Just use the wolf rewards whenever you receive them. With my necro minion build, I facerolled into t3 at level 35 and t4 at level 50 and immediately gambled obols to upgrade my gear to sacred and then to ancestral. Then again, necro minion build is crazy powerful this season
Saving opening the caches had no benefit at all. The gear is soon replaced within 10 minutes. Just open the caches, the real gear is soon ahead very quickly.
what are the hellborn? what do they look like?
I think they are the big bosses when you fill up your threat meter.
They are the big bosses that come when your threat meter fills up and when they appear they show up on the mini-map as an orange demon head.
So after that meter fills up you'll get an audio cue along with a message pop up on screen. The bar will gradually decrease as waves of enemies spawn around your current location. At the end, it'll say something along the lines of "Hell's champion comes forth". An enemy that looks like a druid, barbarian, sorcerer, rogue or necromancer will spawn with the title hellborne. They are quite strong

I try to balance giving plenty of screen space and connecting to the viewer. I’ll look at the size again.

They really need to tune down the lightning damage from the hellborne. I’m maxed out on glyphs and lightning res, and I’m still getting hit hard.
The fire kept messing me up. The one that shoots off in 3 directions. It was doing crazy damage.
You need to grab some alternate forms of damage mitigation. There are definitely ways to gain defences outside of armor and res

That's such a horrible design on blizzard's part that teleporting out and back in changes your server instance. That really breaks immersion with the " open world" they're trying to establish. But I guess that's what you get from a company who decided that the best idea for stashes is that you load everybody's stash tabs.

Uh im unsure of what's being talked about but you can definitely just port to town and then take the same teleport back and your stuff on the ground will still remain. Along with any people who were there prior barring they didn't also leave the area

Yeah, they are. I had a glitch happen in game and 4 or 5 hellbornes spawned all at the same time. I was deleted!

Did you check graphics settings. At the start of the season, I was being kicked every hour.

It still applies to the eternal realm as long as you have completed the campaign. Once you do that even once, everything here should apply.

@@OwnModeGaming I did just now on tier 2? I'm not sure if I could test another way for you I gathered 10, picked up another by chance had to run between two groups because my Ravens were healing me quicker than I was dieing but when I eventually pulled off the dirt nap it was six

Hmmmm tbh this is common knowledge, but I respect the hustle
There is a wide range of players for this game and it was even surprising to me what people know and don't know. So, I try to cover a decent range. Which for some is just review or reminders and others it's exactly what they want.

One thing that was not accurate is that maiden is not a good way to gain XP, as neither maiden nor the mobs that it summons grant any XP.
I level like mad during the maiden battles. I’ll check to see what is going on there but I have to be getting Xp somewhere.

assasins just ruin helltide for me even if i kill one at -15 i only get underleveled rares
Do you mean the hellborn? They can be tough but keep building you character, eventually they won’t be tough at all.

Master working gets pretty nuts. 5% increase to affixes per level and 20% boost to one every 4 levels.

I quit the game bc I kept dying trying to hold 250 cinders and dying , I ended up breaking my monitor so I had to stop
If you can’t get the big chest don’t it doesn’t matter that much early on. Just grab any chest and build your gear. You still get a lot of xp and you still get living steels. Sorry about the monitor, my problem was with throwing controllers ☺️

I love Diablo but to me I’m just bored. Every new season players are so advanced they are level 100 within few days. They need an expansion and new character types. They also need players to be able to build their own weapons from scratch and choose appearance and abilities.
That would be cool. I'm pretty happy with the current state but, I enjoy test driving and feeling out new builds and this season does it for me. That being said I had a similar issue in season one, between endgame beta, beta, server slam, and launch I had spent over 600 hrs across every class and I just could do much in season 1, I was burnt and I didn't comeback and play till season 2, which I loved. I did play a ton of Poe and last epoch and that was cool, I had never played them.

The drop rate for cinders in Helltides is absolute dogshit.
Its like a couple cinders every ten enemies.
It’s weaker in early game but endgame it’s insane and the profane mindcage increases the drop a lot.
