Ironically, revealing the trick made everyone respect him even more. It takes mad skills and years of dedicated practice in order for anyone to do this.
For another example: I know exactly how Kostya Kimlat did the trick that fooled Penn and Teller on his first appearance on their show, but that doesn't mean I could do it. If I try the main move he used it requires a lot of concentration and it's slow enough that it's obvious what I'm doing; to be able to do it at speed a few feet away from P&T while chattering away to them requires huge amount of practice, and I'm extremely doubtful I could ever get my fingers to move that quickly and smoothly anyway.
Even the secret was revealed, it's still not easy to be able to do it seamlessly like the way he did it, not to mention coming up in creating this elution - magic 😮😀😀
yeah. I mean anyone who understand anything about slight of hands know that this must have had a way behind it, and most of those I knew anyway, but one thing is to know how it's done, and completely another to practice this and perform this so fluently and with ease and charm...that knowing changes nothing. Shin Lim is freakin awesome. I respect his act for the performance alone, let alone thinking that made this possible. It's "his" original act and it's absolutely wonderful watching him.
One of the main reasons I don't mind magic reveals. We ALL already know magic isn't real. So that isn't being spoiled. I think it's great we can all see how talented great magicians really are - they work hard and I think they deserve to have people know how much work goes into these illusions. We all get to be mystified when we first watch the trick, we got to be an audience member for the magical story and experience the magician wanted to present, that can never be taken away from any of us, that first moments of shock and awe. Seeing how it was done doesn't ruin that, I think it enhances the wow factor.
@@MagnumDB magic is real. The problem is it's misunderstood. Magic is not waving a wand around creating fireworks, it's an "act that to observer seem unrealistic and unexplainable so they start asking themselves ade they sane while being amazed. That's magic. When i see it, i know that it's not some devil business, but my jaw still drops all the way down and i can't even begin to grasp, to try to explain "how". 😉
Fantastic!!!! I'm just as amazed at his strategy and slight of hands than his actual "magic" trick. Just mind boggling how he thinks up all this stuff, then actually performing it in front of people. That takes mad skills!!!!
And usually, the truly great magicians can fool you again and again with same trick, because often times, there more than one way to do a trick. So, when you think you know how a trick is done, that's when you are most vulnerable to the same trick.
Great explanation. However, around 9:48, you said that Shin switched the queen card with a blank card before giving it. That means, the queen card is in left hand of Shin along with the deck. So, when Shin picked up the blank card on the table around 10:03, how on earth the queen card appears then? His hand is clearly empty when he picked that blank card. Also for that last trick, then the judge should have notice when she place her hand that the plastic card is already hard and has been switched? same with when Shin dropped the cards at the back of the table, she should have hear that as well around 15:55. Other than those, great explanation.
yea i see what said.. the blank car is on the table and the Q was in his left hand.. he never touch the blank card but the blank card that on the table that he said had the Q when he flip it
@@Kay-dx8vm simple logic. The show got popular by make people amazed and to make people amazed is his performance. So you have to make him performance perfectly from every aspect and void people notice. The job done
THE KEYWORD FOR THAT IS " SLEIGHT OF HAND". IM NOT SURPRISED TO CARDS MAGICIAN COZ MY LATE UNCLE MARIANO REVEALED US HOW HE DID IT DURING OUR CHILDHOOD DAYS. BUT THE PERFORMANCE WAS AMAZING & SPECTACULAR FOR MAN COULD DO IT IN JUST BLINK OF AN EYE.SO PROUD & WORTH IT👏👏👏
I think it hasn't been explained when or how he transitioned the entire deck of queens when she picked a queen to the actual deck setup that is described as queen -> 2 blanks -> 1 blue -> rest red cards When does the deck change to this?
It’s weird cause when he spreads shows the image cards he turns the deck over even tho he isn’t finish laying the image cards and when he shows the bottom u see a 2 of hearts anathema when he lays the cards again that 2 of harts just vanished, ace do you have a explanation for this? Nice vid btw
You need to be really talented to pull these tricks off. They make it look easy but after learning the secret its crazy how many mistakes can happen and blow the whole thing.
How observant. What an explanation. Your channel is a treat for me. I don't call them magicians, I call them tricksters. None of these amazing performers claim that they know some secret "mantra", they are performers to fool the audience. Go watch the "Fool Us" shows. And, they are so good, months and years to finalize the concept(s), months and years of practice...unbelievable. Hats off to them. And to you, keep up the good work, our support will be with you.
To then deconstruct this amazing art to just a "trickster" is, in my opinion, devaluing the performance they give. It's not just their sleight of hand, it's the entire presentation and execution. The way they're fooling you while you know you're being fooled and you loving it, that's the magician at work.
i didn't really see al otof "OMG WTF?!" it all felt kind of solve-able if you've watched any magic videos, he's just doing a lot of common things if i'm being honest
Nice explanation, but how could Terry didn't see this at side where he stand, in front it looks impossible but at side of Terry it must be possible to see behind the table.
Even though we know how it's done it is still a very impressive performance. 1 fuckup and his whole act is over. Slight of hand is very real and few can do it so well.
Wouldn’t it be great if another magician brought their own card and used slight of hand to fool us and the magician into thinking he pulled it from the fixed deck?

Magic trick isn't just all knowledge, its mostly skill to pull the trick off

We know magic doesn't exist, it's just that his act is flawless & the execution is astounding.
I even paused, rewind, played in slow speed and i still don't get how he do it so flawlessly. Thats some amazing talent and skill Shin has🔥🔥👌👌
This reveal actually made me appreciate the trick even more
*Wow... this is hands down the best magic trick reveal channel. Doesn't skip over any of the tricks, but covers everything in detail.*
Glad you liked it!
Revealing how the trick is done is one thing. Able to execute it flawlessly is whole new ball game.
Even though the trick is being revealed that’s not easy to learn. Shim is on another level.
When it was performed in AGT everybody was like 😲😲😲😄👍
Wow the explanations are fantastic but it doesn't make the tricks any less amazing. It just amazing in a different way now.
These videos actually makes us appreciate these magicians woow they are skillful
The complexity level of this performance is astonishing. Even with this reveal, to be able to accomplish this trick is amazing.

It shows how talented shin is...
The amount of practices needed to perfectly perform all this trick is the really amazing thing. Amazing!
the execution of all these is still magic. Thanks for the video, i wanted to know the tricks behind this performance so bad!
It's impressive on his end, completely, but I think the producers tried their hardest to assist the act with their camera shot placement and zoom.
This is truly an amazing and complex routine. Even more impressive now that we know how it was done.
ang talented mo talaga pooh. Komedyante na magikero pa.
Even knowing what he does it still blows my mind how smooth and fast he is at sleight of hand.
thank you for revealing this trick. like others have written below, shin is an amazing magician
Beautifully Explained
This video made Shin Lin that he's in a league of his own.
Amazing trick❤ execution is perfect...love it
after knowing all what he did i even appriciate Shim Lim more for such smooth and perfect slight of hand. thanks for the video i put a like on it.
It's a talent not easy to do.....great job

So many magic tricks can be revealed watching them in slow motion as the speed with which he moves hides a lot of the sleight of hand.
Damn this is the best magic reveal content

He is really working hard to craft his tricks

It's amazing how this entertainment in our time would have put Shin to death in the 15th century for witch craft.
Because of the church and religion, yep.
I'm not in awe of the magic, because I know he tricks me, but I'm in awe of the trick behind the magic he created.
breakimg this down is the real magic
the last is the only thing I can't understand, or hes just smooth enough to result of flawless act??
Bro great video keep it up 🔥
Shin is incredibly amazing.
Thanking for doing these because I’m so tired of people saying magic is done with the help of Jins or demons
To pull it off on live tv is epic
His delivery was perfectly magical even if it’s all just an illusion.
the real magic is how did you figure all of this out?
Unsolicited Material. Taking credit for their own UA-cam channel
Fuiyoh....

I’m more impressed by him now that i know the trick😂 it’s close to impossible doing it seamlessly

Whatever his hands moments where amazing
Omg that's so hard I'm exhausted just watching how it's done lol
That’s a very complicated trick that takes probably years of practice.
Still astonishing to see how long this took to prep when i saw the tattoo i was like what
Nice explanation, but how could Terry didn't see this at side where he stand, in front it looks impossible but at side of Terry it must be possible to see behind the table.
He stupidly ignore it as per Director's instruction, or else he will lose his job ...😅😅😅😅
A great performance
as we know shin is still the best magician. so u reveal the trick i dnt care 😂
The secret is still magic 😂
It's like watching a Roger Federer video. After seeing how he does it, still nobody can do it.
It's still not easy. You have to practice like hell to master this.
Not really when the whole trick is using fake deck ...would never get away with it in this day and age
Now i know the secrets its really more like magic😂
Magics only lives in fairytales lol
Nice 😂❤❤❤
Now reveal how do some magicians perform levitation in a crowded beach! Is it all just a setup, with their own people around?
Camera tricks and the crowd is in on the trick, dynamo and criss Angel do this often.
Shin is still very good. I'm still impressed.
Yep, he still very clever thou
По е интересно да гледаш трика, отколкото разгадаването му. Но все пак си е доста сложна работа.
They need to perform card tricks on glass tables.
I think the tattoo ruined the trick because it immediately meant that the card was forced.
100% correct
So now my magic kit from
Disney Land looks cheap.

Slowing it 0.25 speed; still can't see the trick 😅
I still can't understand after explaination.😂
Magician say hand is quicker
Than the eye.😂😂
Am I tripping but when he placed it I n Tyra hands the white was face down, blue face up. When she opened her hand the white was faced up. 😮
no it wasnt, look closely and you see that tyra turn that card herself when she opens her hands
I got lost some where just give him credit to create this up
Damn he is out of business now
