i bought the rituel de fille foundation and i absolutely love it. i have dry skin but i do not find it to be overly dewy. i use 2 drops and the coverage and finish is so pretty. it works wells with every spf if ever used underneath it and it wears extremely well. i work a dirty and physically demanding job and my skin still looks pretty good by the end of the day. 100/10 recommend!!

The blush veil is gorgeous!! I purchased Pinch Me Pink and while it looks fairly different from the online photo (not as pale), it’s still such a pretty pink. For me, it lasts all day and doesn’t get patchy. I love it!

I think a lot of brands are hurrying to get on board with the cooler toned trend, hence shades like berry. I do love berry, fig, blackberry, and burgundy tones in summer tho...I think they look amazing with subtle sunset toned makeup, and I absolutely love layering burgundy/fig/cranberry with sheer orange lippies in the summer.

Glow recipe ruins my skin. Every time I get tenpted and I try it, my clear skin immediately breaks out horribly and takes multiple weeks to full clear. I’m glad I’m not alone w this

2:57 I just got the Rituel De Fille foundation and I have combo, normal to oily skin. I’m so in love with this foundation! I don’t find it too dewy, just a natural, healthy radiance. I wish I can give you a sample to try. It’s def worth picking up when RdF runs a sale or something.

Rituel de Fille 3-Drop Foundation: This looked pretty but irritated my skin more than any other foundation I had tried in a long time. Disappointing because I liked the lab sample and have done fine with everything else I have tried from RDF. They added some odd ingredients to it, including one that includes a mold derivative, so maybe that is why. It did look pretty though.

So glad you did a live review of the rose inc lip balm I was tempted but I saw a few reviews about it being gritty. People were worried they may have gotten a bad batch but it looks like that’s just the formula. Looking forward to your lip balm video that’s my favorite beauty product of all time to purchase and use. Not sure if you’ve tried the brand Cay Skin but their spf lip balm is pretty good but that overnight lip mask? Best lip product I’ve ever purchased hands down. The smell is amazing and it lasts a long time on the lips! I’m also like you I don’t like thin lip balms I need them on the thicker side and the cay mask fits that perfectly.

Like why would you make metal screw on metal for a beauty product that someone is going to use multiple times a day! And it’s like a design crime too beyond the sensory shivers it gives me! Hello Kait!! My my, but you look ABSOLUTELY beautiful in this video!! Of course you are gorgeous, but something positively radiant is happening w/u in this video 🥰🔥👏🏻 So 💯 agree w/u on a great deal of these products. The Glow Recipe packaging is kind of juvenile to me???? And pink is my favorite color, but why not just a plain white or silver lid and leave off the printed wording-we KNOW what it contains, we are buying the product for that very reason, humph 😤..... I digress 😏 Now let’s address the Hermès $80(+) blush. If that blush takes me out to dinner(and not Taco Hell either, somewhere NICE), buys me drinks, takes me dancing, & then sees to it I have a uh, how shall we say it-a nice conclusion to my evening(wink wink), unless that’s happening, no way would I shell out for a blush that’s close to a Bill after tax. It’s insanity to me, imho & positively ridiculous 😳🙄 ***I don’t want to offend anybody, and yes I understand the concept of a luxury brand, however that’s too rich for my blood. The bare minerals new Spice looks so different in the compact and swatch, but on my face it looks awesome. That and kiss of rose makes a wonderful duo. Not as bronze nor as warm as you would think.

You should absolutely try the Rituelle de Fille 3 drops foundation. It is awesome. I've had mine for 2 weeks now and loving it. It provides enough coverage but it is so skin like and hydrating on the skin.

@@StateofKait No, I have normal skin but I wear a slightly mattifying primer underneath and it wears beautiful all day. I know the oil part can sound scary but you can also powder down a little bit. It is not a foundation for everyone though...

So I know this is an extremely unpopular opinion - I HATE the Thrive liquid lash extensions mascara. I don't know if it's just a fail because I got it in brown, but it GLUES all my eyelashes together in these spidery clumps and I have to use a needle to comb through my lashes to even make it wearable. I've applied it and started my makeup over SO MANY TIMES BECAUSE IT LOOKS SO BAD. I'm normally a drugstore girl, but I have long, thick naturally curled lashes and I always have standard mascaras transfer under my eyebrows. The Thrive formula is also so wet that I always get the stuff all over my face. The color and the way that it removes are the only positive things I could say about it.

Honestly I don’t have texture on my cheeks so I can’t say what might be blurring. All I know is to avoid blushes that are too shimmery or too wet
I tried the urban decay hydro maniac blushes and they felt like aloe vera...they were tacky and dried down weird and patchy😢😢

Dior rosewood is definitely not peach that swatch picture was not the best anyway its sheer but buildable and is more of a mauve/berry kinda shade. I received mine yesterday.

I think the only product out of all of them is the Glow Recipe lip balm. But I’m not running out to buy it. I do like their avocado ceramide products a lot, but I hate watermelon, so anything of theirs with the watermelon scent is a hard pass.

I found that the Fresh lip balms are way too soft in the tube and they break off and then they just get all nasty - and the colors are way too meh.

I know everyone’s price of a dollar/pound/euro is different and it’s not my place to judge other people’s purchases, but I don’t understand how we (but mainly the makeup industry) has almost normalised $30 (or more) for a single blush (I’m excluding luxury here cause luxury be wild), because we KNOW it’s not expensive to produce blush (even high quality ones), so the markup must be crazy. It doesn’t stop me lusting from afar though 😂
Also to add they have the nerve to charge so much and then they’re NOT EVEN INCLUSIVE COLOUR RANGES.
FYI, Tom Ford blush is only available in the duo packaging right now (on Sephora and Nordy sites) $95…so a better deal than the Gucci blushes?
