  • Replacing the clutch in a 2013 Fiat 500. Part 2 is the final steps in the removal of the transmission as well as the re-installation process(clutch disk, pressure plate, adding fluid,etc.) It's a known issue so my best advice is buy a good one!

    Nice job, thanks for the information and referencing areas with the camera etc. I have used a cheap clutch in the past. It worked but it was more like an on/off switch which made traffic a pain. (2000 Citroen Saxo Vtr)

    I finally took the plunge. I've spent like 5 hours trying to take stuff out today. Tomorrow I should be able to take off the bell housing.I hope everything goes well I've never done this

    Thanks for this video, I'm going to be replacing the clutch on my 2013 Abarth sooner rather than later and it's nice to have a reference to work from.

    I watched a different video that left the transmission in the car while replacing the clutch. Which would be easier?

    great job..
    it was required to remove completed the trans? I watched others videos that only push and open it. Them the clutch, bearing and flywheel was replaced without taking the trans out of the car. Just only opening it has space to do it.

    I see you say you ended up going OEM, how many clutches did you attempt before? Which ones did you try?

      Tried 2 before going oe, not sure brand but both were in the 100-300 range on Amazon. Not worth the savings, they were junk haha

    I was told the slave cylinder and throw out bearings were one piece, they supposedly can only be replaced by doing the clutch job, my slave just failed so I literally have the car up on jacks, nothing removed just yet 2012 abarth

      @cashmansgarage5134  4 роки тому +1

      Too long. First time was about 12 hrs. By the time we found a good clutch I was an expert and knocked it out in 6hrs or so

      Cashman's Garage Thanks dude. My clutch is starting to slip and I’m trying to figure out if I should do it myself or just pay the huge dollars the dealership wants…

    How did you bleed the clutch? Can't find a nipple like breaks have.

      This was awhile ago, cant honestly remember. I don't think I had to remove the line from the slave so im not sure if I even had to bleed it
