throwing my first Mid-Autumn Festival party: cooking up a chinese spread with my friend in seattle

Hiii! In September I flew up to Seattle to throw a Mid-Autumn festival party with my friend Angela. This was my first time celebrating Mid-Autumn festival myself as an adult. I've never celebrated the festival with anyone other than my parents, and most years, we'd just have some mooncakes and maybe a potluck with their friends. The whole experience was oddly comforting, homey, and nostalgic. My twenties have been about learning about my culture and figuring out what pieces of it I want to carry on and how I do so in my own way. I imagine this will be a life-long journey but I'm so happy to have friends to be able to share these experiences with.
One of these days I'll finally get videos up in the month they were filmed. Maybe 2023 goals. Ily for watching + reading.
