They should do a miniseries on Beauregard's life, just like with Longstreet's. Both of these generals were complicated and tragically misunderstood (the latter was despised by neo-Confederates), but both eventually came to terms with Civil Rights. That's one of many reasons why I admire both of these Confederate Generals.
I’d say both Longstreet and Beauregard did more than come to terms with civil rights. They turned into staunch supporters and sacrificed a lot of their prestige in the name of civil rights. Longstreet and Beauregard are definitely worthy of a series or books re-examining their wartime and post bellum activities to try to restore their reputations that suffered as a result of the lost cause

Cool video! General Beauregard was an absolute legend in US History! He will be long remembered.
"Brave beauregard are general will join us for the ride"
If Albert Sydney Johnston was not shot or General Beaurgard simply kept up the attack on the first day, Shiloh may have been a Confederate victory.
Rest in peace, Donald Sutherland
Man was incredible, even in a supporting role he brought so much to a film
I don’t know how I missed this post, but thank you!❤️
Haha
