My current two-stage dust collections is an Oneida Super Dust Deputy attached to a 55-gallon drum and a Harbor Freight 1HP motor. I have one wall piped with only one Y. It does a decent job but I want more power so I recently ordered the 2HP motor. I can't wait for it to arrive! That air filter looks nice! It would be a great upgrade for my newer DC system!
Great project, Radek. I was looking for something just like this so, I'm glad I found you. One question - where did you get the cyclone separator? The ones I was looking at are much smaller and designed to work with a shop vac.
Ja mam separator cyklonowy i to bardzo wydłuża żywot worka w odkurzaczu. Każdy powinien mieć system odpylania. Zawsze to zdrowiej, lepiej widać obrabiany element bo nie ma trocin, szlifierki o wiele lepiej pracują, a poza tym komfort🙂👍
Bez watpienia, wdychanie pylu jest bardzo niezdrowe i czesto nie zdajemy sobie sprawy z tego ile sie go unosi w powietrzu. To sa czesto bardzo male srednice, w zasadzie niewidoczne, ale negatywny wplyw na pluca maja.

I use it with the drum sander, my small jointer or planer, sometimes with a router and it is big enough. All my powertools are rather portable. It is a bit too small for the table saw indeed, but I have bigger unit for TS. Presented DC is my secondary system. It is designed for small shops like I mentioned in the title. The engine and the wheel is to small, 550cfm is only 1000cm³....
