Came into this because I felt I needed to get clued into the Dutch side of happy hardcore.
Turns out, I recognize every track. That's how you know these are classics.
I am an old skool Scottish Raver, when the Happy Hardcore scene burst into life, I felt it diluted our Scottish Scene, in particular the influx of material from England, but the Dutch Masters absolutely nailed the happy vibe. This is a personal opinion, although I do know that there are many Scottish ravers who felt the same. HARDCORE WILL NEVER DIE !!! LONG LIVE THE RAVE !!!
Agree 💯 I wasn't a huge fan of vocal stuff from down south, some of it was ok but I found most of it too cheesy 😒
Totally agree the English ruined it as always 😂. If I wanted to listen to the chipmunks I would go watch the movie.

Well Bassy G must have fucking diluted it to as he is a fucking Geordie. I spent more time in his fucking shop than you lot did in your beds... Newcastle is in ENGLAND...
Bass Generator said the big push of south English coast killed it in 96-97. The Dutch was much like Scott Brown's without splitting hairs. The south English tried to be like Brown but had all that signing and breakdowns (99 red balloons). Compared to Brown's stuff it was dung. I got out of things by mid 96. We had guys from Europe then got Dougal.
