    Looked up because of Patrick. So pleased to hear your positive comments about food and people. I do not know US food but it has way more additives and hormones than we have in EU standards. Taste of produce in Albania is great. Love it
    The language is a challenge to write correctly but basic levels of comprehension is not so hard. Learn the alphabet well and pronunciation will follow. Good luck

      I have had a decade of Albanian experiences and what she describes is just as it is. Yes there are pitfalls and difficulties but they can be overcome. I am back in the UK for now but Albania is worth experiencing. Patrick's explanation of the difference in weather /climate are spot on. Near Pogradec they have found Europe's oldest settlement. I hues the difference is Albania still has respect for people. If you ho try to learn the alphabet and pronunciation will follow. Albania will drive you crazy at times but stay more than 2 weeks and you will love her.. The land of the eagles

    I am from Albania. I live here in Michigan, USA, for 28 years, don't take me rong I love USA but about live style here isn't that good that good you can make money here but more you make more in bills you get that's why you don't have time to do things, in Albania you don't make lots of money but the life style is way different and cheaper to be able to do lots of things, by the way I was watching your video talking about Albania and everything you saying is true, I can't say anything about you just hoping you to have a blessed time in my mother land Albania ❤

      Thank you for your comment! I’m glad to hear that you feel my statements are accurate. Yes, I agree living in the US, you can make more money, but the cost of living is just getting more and more unsustainable. I love how Albanians value family and time together. ❤🇦🇱

    Im curious about your lung issues clearing up since I hear the air quality over there is not that great. What are your thought on the air quality? Can you drink the tap water? Did you switch to using vegetable oil in the states to now using olive oil? I'm wondering if that could be the difference with your autoimmunity since some people say vegetable oil is inflammatory?

    • @ExpatSingleMom
      @ExpatSingleMom  5 місяців тому +4

      Hi @DavidS-ox3li, I have a couple speculations, but of course I have to give my disclaimer that I'm not a doctor or scientist, so I could be completely wrong. I can only speak to my experience. I think in the US my body was under such an onslaught of toxic exposure through food, water, and air while living a highly stressful lifestyle for decades; these were the main contributing factors. That combined with the fact that I didn't know anything about gut health in my younger years and ate a lot of fried vegetable oil like fast food and whatnot. And as a result, the autoimmune issues came up due to poor gut health and an overall acidic diet. Then for the last four and a half years I worked at a job that put me in poor air quality frequently or driving on the highway for many many hours. The combination of all these things started to add up. My lungs became inflamed regularly when I would breathe in exhaust or be working in a dusty area. It got to the point where this happened almost every day. Since the air quality isn't super great in Tirana, but I'm still noticing substantial improvement in my lungs, I suspect that it might be that my overall body is getting healthier due to becoming more alkaline, eating more fresh food, and substantially lower stress. I don't drink the water here out of the tap. And yes, I've had very little vegetable oil since we've been here and almost nothing processed. Sorry for that long winded answer, but thank you for the question. I could be wrong. This is just an idea.

      @@ExpatSingleMom Check out Vlora or Durres if Tirana's air starts to bother you. The air in Tirana gets polluted by the immense number of constructions sites throughout the city and the huge number of cars on the streets, there is no heavy industry pollution though. They are changing their buses and taxies to electric to ameliorate the situation. The other cities are much smaller and the air is great. Especially the ones on the seashores. The rents are much cheaper too, outside of the beach season.
      The change in the way you feel is too immediate to only be due to food or the air. I suspect there must be something else too. Like the Ozone layer or the water or smth. I get much better every time I go within the first couple of days.

    It's bitter sweet to hear you talk about your health - BUT I've only been to the states once (for three weeks in CA) and I was SHOCKED, ABSOLUTLY shocked by the food prices.. As for the quality - I honestly couldn't belive what my friend was eating - but as a guest I didn't say anything.. I'll throw something at you re you 'health' in the US - Cloud seeding. Yeah, call me a conspiracy theorist I don't give ****. The ClA control your mind, The FDA ensure you get shocking advice and highly inaccurate recommendations while 5G and DEW's take care of the rest,,

    • @CosmicSeeker69

      I'll give you some facts. My (then) friend picked me up and dropped me off in Santa Rosa...... On June 7th of 2017 the local council published outline plans for an urban redevelopment scheme - 11 days after I flew back in mid September there was a 'Forest Fire' in 'Rosa - EVERY SINGLE ROAD bar one was exactly the same boundary as the published plan. Go figure

      trust me - they want you dead - but in the meantime Big Farma rake in $billions all off the back of the ClA screwing your mind and the FDA messing with your body..
