Roa is one well fed child. Her Halmoeni takes great care of her and is a wonderful cook. I especially liked her progressive attitude towards her children. Teaching them everything regardless of what society says at the time.

I'm super close with my mom & especially my mother-in-law. They too have been super close and waited 14yrs for my husband & I to get married already. We were slow 🤷♀️. But the mutual admiration & love the mom's have for one another, even with language "barrier" they truly love one another. You can see that clearly in these videos. Love it and this whole family. so many asian men have never been in a kitchen their whole life, because they were raised believing it's their mom's then their wife's job to cook. I'm glad despite the south korean climate in the 80s, Joon's mom still taught all her children to do housework!
