  • Counterclockwise winds from Hurricane Ian are pulling water from the Hillsborough River and Tampa Bay, exposing some of the bay floor.
As Hurricane Ian draws near, winds are pulling water from Tampa Bay. Experts warn walking on it is dangerous.
As of the 11 a.m. advisory, Hurricane Ian is continuing to gain strength as an "extremely dangerous" Category 4 storm. It is located about 45 miles west of Naples, Florida, with sustained winds of 155 mph - just two miles per hour away from being a Category 5 hurricane.
    Ian's movement is north-northeast at 9 mph.
At 10 a.m., the NHC provided an update and said a life-threatening storm surge is expected along the southwest coast of Florida as hurricane-force winds draw closer.
Hurricane Ian is approaching the west coast of Florida where it is expected to make landfall as a "catastrophic hurricane" on Wednesday and will continue to move onshore.

Why is this not receiving national coverage? The same thing happened in Palm Harbor, Fl. in Charlotte Bay. The water in the Gulf of Mexico receeded and DISAPPEARED for at least half a mile from the shore. WHERE DID THE WATER GO? The ONLY time we see water receed like this is during a tsunami, just prior to it coming back ashore with a vengeance. This has NEVER happened with ANY hurricane or storm surge in all of recorded history, yet there is no major media coverage?.

That is incorrect. It happened with Hurricane Irma as well. Which means that it probably happens with any major hurricane that is category 4 or above.

Ok - if it was the "Wind" why are the clouds moving in the opposite direction as the water? Why is anything shown blowing shown blowing in the opposite direction as the water moving out? 🤔❓❓

Praise God, somebody been sending up prayers before the storm. People who still believe in Jesus Christ. Thank God! Leave the unexplainable to God.

If you dig a hole in your yard and hit water at around a foot or two, its the same way, watch the hole fill up and then drain as the hurricane blows the water out. We're all connected

So much better than flooding. And it will fill up again. But that’s kind of funny. Instead of letting you have land showing where a water should be. WPB here
