❣DIY Abandoned Farmhouse Using Cardboard❣

- Hi, in this video I show you how I make an abandoned farmhouse using some cardboard, hot glue and acrylic paint. You can achieve so much texture with cardboard by distressing it, is amazing.
I start by gluing the cardboard boxes in the desired shape. I have all kinds of cardboard boxes from different products. I just turned them inside out so you can see the shape better.
On top of those boxes I made the roof structure. I knew some parts of this structure will be visible at some point so I made wooden texture on most of the pieces. For this step I used cardboard beams made out of thicker cardboard (you can glue multiple sheets of thinner cardboard). I also added texture to the walls and floor.
I've made the cardboard door and windows and gave them a nice texture as well. I added a chimney and started laying the roof tiles. I applied them like I usually do, from bottom to the top, but this roof had holes here and there to give that abandoned look to the farmhouse.
Painting is easier this time. I panted the whole house black at first, then added white only to the textured surface. By doing this we have a dark color in the background and a good white surface for the colors we will be applying. I chose some pale colors for the walls, blue for the door and windows and a nice dark red for the roof. That's it! I hope you enjoyed it.

Your houses literally tell stories. Amazing!
The design in these is just SO GOOD! Like when you're putting on the roof tiles, and it seems random, but every one is placed just right to get the finished effect. It would be so easy to make that look awful, just by putting them on too regularly, but there's real artistry going on with every part of this.
I remember when you first started showing these wonderful creations you made for your daughter. I wonder if she still loves them as much as we do? As I’ve watched over the years, I realize just how talented a painter you are as well as builder. Sometimes, your painting just makes the piece come alive. I think everyone would agree that we would love to see the room where you have all your creations displayed. Once again, just mesmerizing. ✌🏻🤍
When I watch a new video from you I feel like a child again, so excited, watching with big wide open eyes and my mouth open, amazed at how boring and ordinary things like cardboard turns into something spectacular. Thank you for sharing all the magic you do.
