Of course this is blues. You can compare this artist with the others such as Muddy Waters, Otis Spann, Sonny Boy Williamson and so on. You'll see that their musics are almost the same one another. If you are a "whiskey-blues" style fan and you think that this style is the real blues, you are wrong. Blues is like a father of many children: a genre with tons of sub genres, such as Delta Blues, Folk Blues, Blues Rock, Boogie Blues, Acoustic Blues etc.
