I GREW UP IN CANADA, AT 58 MOVED TO SOUTH AMERICA AS MY FORTUNATE ABILITY TO PLAY DRUMS PROFESSIONALLY GAVE ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO RETIRE 3 YEARS AGO AT 55. TROOPER WERE AN INSPIRATION. WHEN I MET THEM, I told Brian that Ra gave me a pick ten yrs ago.... as I walked away, Brian called me back and said, " Ra gave you a pick?.... I said yes, he then reached in his pocket and handed me the pick he just just finished the show with and said, " now you have mine " at that point I started to cry and the whole band hugged me and signed my Sabian cymbal shirt...... one of the fondest memories of my life ❤
