I think they should do away with exotic missions unless they are truly “secret” missions like how D1 had black spindle! The exotic missions team should be allocated less and they should have to extra people focus more on playlists (maps) + raids and dungeons

Is dipping your toes in it even possible? I gave up a couple years ago when they started deleting huge swaths of content, about a month after I bought that content. Last few times I did try to play, though, I couldn't for the life of me figure out what the progression path(s) even were, much less what content to do for them. It felt like if you weren't consuming the content in sync with the release schedule, you were straight up left behind. I'm impressed they'd kept the game going, since I have no idea how new players could actually get into the game.
I’m just waiting for heresy because hive based seasons are usually the best. But, what I really want is a vidoc of codename Apollo, so we can see all of those system changes in action. The game really needs to start the next era, so players can be immersed and have a reason to stick around.
I *really* liked the small mag size on SMGs since a lot of perks scale from mag size now (i.e. attrition orbs), and SMGs are unique in having the highest RPM to mag size ratio. There is no other weapon class in the game with high rpm and small mags.
@Briggsian reloads on some frames are terrible too. Shoot 15 bullets in a half second. Spend 2 seconds to reload. And the backup mag only gives you like 1-3 bullets most of the time 😂
@@jacobsheffield9332 Look for Alloy Mag now. It scales a bit better since it's changes and it's a scalar so it'll often give you a faster reload than straight reload speed. More benefit for mag dumping so if you're a compulsive reloader then of course you want the flat reload stat.
@@not_kes you say that like its a good thing, smg suck to use especially in pve, excluding builds that give smgs extra damage. they have low ammo and feel like they are working against you with their low range and high flich. the usage rates are probably low on console. why would anyone use smg, when we have pulse and scouts in pvp which do better dps from safer distance. if they had more ammo like 50 mags and more dps they would be better

Episode 2, Act 3: Oh boy, time to do the exotic mission at least 3 times because i'll surely miss something. Surely we will get this quest listed on the fireteam finder for the next 5 weeks, SURELY.
I haven't touched D2 since two months into season of the lost. I somewhat keep up with the updates they do, but i don't think anything D2 does at this point will get me to come back.
Final Shape really was good, the best expansion they’ve ever done man. I’d recommend it, but I get it if you just don’t care anymore. I just can’t bring myself to leave.
You could always just wait and see if Frontiers is a hit. If not, wait for Final Shape to go on sale for like 90% off if you care about the story and wanna experience the end of the saga.
I hope they bring back Nightfall specific loot, with the potential to get the weapons as a rare drop in the regular strike playlist. Could work well with the new loot tier system they're working on, with each difficulty ramping up the possible loot tier of the weapon. Be kinda cool if they made shiny drops a thing above tier 5, where the gun has 3 perks in each column, a unique shader, and every stat is masterworked.
The exotic mission has decent atmosphere but whoever coined the phrase "Castlevania-themed" for the fucking thing needs to actually be laid off because it's nothing similar. Hell, we were told we'd get vampire scorn at the beginning; all we've gotten are scorn who smoked a little too much and some crappy lore about how they can be turned without having to die now. I'm probably checking out until Heresy drops at this point.
As a Rufus Fury enjoyer who endured the torture of grinding through Graviton Banner last time, I look forward to seeing if those changes will make a difference next Banner. (I still haven't gotten the roll I wanted for the stasis rocket sidearm)
Well I just got back into Destiny 2. I haven't played since Shadowkeep. I just bought everything up to Final Shape. So I got a TON of content to play through. I assume its best to play through the Final Shape campaign first. Then Lightfall, then Beyond Light. For all 3 characters.
I guess, if you don't care all that much about doing the story in order. Also, the abilities you get with Prismatic would make more sense if you got the stasis and strand subclasses first.
Honestly I think release order is still better (BL, WQ, LF, FS) but WQ doesn't have a subclass to unlock so if you don't care about story do that one whenever. Get the least interesting campaign out of the way first (Beyond Light), then Lightfall, has a shit story but it's still more fun the BL. Also has the most fun new subclasses imo. Do Final Shape last cause you'll never want to go back to the other subclasses afterwards 🤣

I think one of the reasons I stopped liking 2d as much is seasons and season builds are too much "borrowed power" with the artifact mods I wish I could earn and keep mods so my build always worked
Problem with this game now is that EVERYTHING is tied to the artifact. I did the choir mission multiple times to unlock all frames. I don’t use it. It’s not on the artifact. 🤦🏻♂️

No way they revert the target lock changes on smg and only give 180s the SLIGHTEST bump in their stats. Immortal and PK are gonna run rampant again, hated that meta.

Warframe is a poop game…idk why it’s compared to Destiny at all. In warframe you have a “hero character” that you can barely customize and the gameplay is nowhere near as fun as Destiny. They are very different.

Exotic missions used to be cool secrets that you didn’t run a million times into the ground because you were forced to craft a weapon and farm it’s catalysts, you know, back when destiny cared about players, back to warframe for me
So if you don't farm the catalyst during this season do you just not get them?
@ I don’t think they remove the exotic missions anymore but this catalyst are just extra perks now anyway so I honestly don’t even bother unless it’s game changing. Sorry to sound so sad but it used to be so much more fun

I think one of the reasons I stopped liking 2d as much is seasons and season builds are too much "borrowed power" with the artifact mods I wish I could earn and keep mods so my build always worked

Problem with this game now is that EVERYTHING is tied to the artifact. I did the choir mission multiple times to unlock all frames. I don’t use it. It’s not on the artifact. 🤦🏻♂️
