This young man needs help and not prison / jail. It's clear he has a substance abuse problem. Instead of prison/ jail, he should be court ordered to receive treatment. The outdated science of the 30-day treatment program does not work. The average person suffering from substance abuse needs between 3 to 6 months in treatment in order to fully detox/ under go a complete physical and test/ address the issues surrounding one's dependence of drugs and access whether this is an underlying mental health issue that needs to be addressed. 9/10 people suffering from substance abuse have co diagnosis in mental health. Also, family involvement and support system is a must to sustain sobriety. The science needs to be changed and recognize substance abuse as a disease that can be acute or chronic and understand the old out dated 30 program is not effective.
No put him in jail, he has more money than most he can afford to get the best treatment he claimed to be a physician? You know if that was any Joe blow they would put us under the jail I’m so tired of people glorifying these childish people with money..
@@marcusdavis9076I'm glorying anything. I'm simply saying that prison/ jail has become the dumping ground for substance abuse users and people who are clearly suffering from mental health. While he does have money, until you recognize there is problem your not going to seek help. The Judge originally order him to home confinement. But, yet failed to order him into court mandated on patient treatment and daily drug tests as well as hair analysis. Substance abuse is a disease whether acute or chronic as it alters the brain in many ways. The old drugs didn't contain as many different substances so a 30 day treatment program was effective. We have whatvis called super drugs and they are mixed with multiple substances thus being harder to treat and a 30 day program is ineffective. But, it's just an opinion.
Sad thing is: the prison system is America's largest mental health program.
He’s had enough chances he needs to withdraw cold turkey in federal prison and stay there for at least 5 years so he can gain weight heal his brain and realize he doesn’t have another 5 or 10 years to give away ur a fool for thinking he hasn’t had enough help already
