Yay, another Michigander!!! I love the Glory of Autumn! Yikes, 6 strands.... Love the purple house.... purple is my favorite color as well! Happy stitching! 💜💜💜
Thanks for stopping by to see all my craziness. I recently subscribed to your channel as well. We seem to have several similar interests. Maybe someday when I don't feel like my life is so crazy I'll be able to make it over to a stitchy meet-up over your way.
okay, the simple knitting directions on an index card with a stitch marker to denote the row you're on is genius! GENIUS!! The blanket is cute cute and good job getting after the cardigan. I still haven't bothered with a sweater type garment. The color is so pretty, all the purple. - Kay
Thanks Kay. I felt like there had to be an easy way to keep track of things ... That was the best I could come up with. I do hope the sweater eventually turns out, it has for sure given me a headache or two. Thanks for watching! ~Katrina
Oh I love a WIP Parade!!!! I’m never bored either… thanks to all my hobbies! 🤦🏻♀️. PANDEMIC LOOKS AMAZING!!!! And I love the color of your Longline Cardigan. Keep up all that walking! Now that my kids are all in school, I’ve been walking most mornings and hitting my 10,000 steps before 9 am 👍🏻
Wow ... 10,000 steps before 9am. That's amazing Jenny. I've had a couple of people over the past few years tell me they don't want to retire because they don't know what they'll do with all their time. I'm pretty sure I will not have any troubles filling my time, LOL. Thanks for visiting with me today! ~Katrina
@@TheCraftyCataloger the trick is that my husband walks my elementary school kids to school down the street and my oldest is at the middle school bus stop by 7:10 in the morning. So I just start walking for about 4 miles and I hit the 10,000. It’s also the coolest time of the day… my tune might change once it gets “colder”… you know those FRIGID Alabama winters 😂😂😂
Everything looks great Katrina! It's a constant struggle to keep our balance between hobbies, plus exercise. After 3 years of not riding, now I have to make time for it which means less stitching.
Thanks Kim. I'm glad you could stop by and see what I've been up to. There simply aren't enough hours in our day!! I love seeing your Spencer updates (and your stitching updates) on IG! ~Katrina
Too many books, so little time, preach it sister! Brilliant idea on how to keep track of your blanket pattern repeats! Congrats on your walking. Your wipes look great. I find sweater patterns harder to figure out too. It looks great though.
🤗 Good to see you Kat! I love that top you are wearing! Lots of projects to fit in with all your hours of work. I’m like you I listen to more books than I actually “read”, but I enjoy books however they come! Take care.
I’m so glad that you are making progress on that cardigan! I tried feather and fan a long time ago and I didn’t like it. I wonder if it was my lack of experience. I should try it again some day. But I have tons of knitting projects. 😂 I don’t think you have to worry about your YOs. The yarn is dark enough to hide any imperfections. Glad to have you back. See you soon.
Nice to find you ..... I’m a mitten gal also , GO BLUE 💙 Born in the thumb area ... close to Lake Erie , Grosse Pointe Michigan. WIP parades are always fun . Look forward to your next video... I love audio books. Take care Be safe Blessings ~
Thanks for checking out my channel Sharon. I was born and raised in Lapeer County, so a little bit north, but I do know where Grosse Pointe is. I don't know what us crafters who like to read would do without audiobooks. Yes, Go Blue! ~Katrina
Nice to see you Katrina! I want to say I’ve stitched Mill Hill kits on Aida, but now I’m wondering if I’ve just THOUGHT about doing that so often it feels like I have already… 🤔 lol. It shouldn’t be a problem though because the counts are the same. Your stitching looks great! Your finished quilt is gorgeous! I’ve been trying to squeeze walking into my schedule 3 times a week, now that we walk my son to school. It’s hard to prioritize though, for us (over-)ambitious folks! 😉 I do need to be better though. Thanks for the update! Happy hobbying!
Hey friend thanks for stopping by checking out all I've been up to! I hope your school year is off to a good start! You are right ... trying to fit in everything and prioritize things is hard for those of us who like to do way too many things. 😊
You should quit your job so you can stitch more. What could go wrong? I need to frame my Christmas Sentiments too. Ugh. I really want to. I just can't decide what I want to do so I put it off. Christmas is coming so I shouldn't wait too long. I don't knit, but that stitch marker index card thing is genius. That's a lot of miles you walked. Good job!!!!! I really need to walk more. Ugh.
Oh how I wish I had been born independently wealthy and didn't need to work ... Crafting all day, now that would be the life. Hard to believe Christmas is only 3 months and a few days away. 😳. I'm tellin' ya ... move to MI and we can walk together ... 😁
Hi. I haven't seen your channel in a while, and looking forward to seeing some of the recent episodes which I missed - if they survive the transfer to your new internet vendor. :) You may want to take a look at some of the Mill Hill videos on Calico's channel. She is the queen of Mill Hill smalls, and once had a video where she showed us a really smart way to sew (or just long hand stitch) some fabric around those those small 2"x3" perforated sheets after which you can just put the on either a Q-snap or a frame. I've been using that method since watching her video, and my MH smalls are a breeze to stitch! I love your finish on "Christmas Sentiments" which I own, and seeing your finish is spurring me to maybe start mine this Christmas. Take care and stay well.
Thanks for stopping by Jasmine. It's been awhile. I'll have to check out Calico's videos I need to get started on that second snowman if I'm going to give them as Christmas gifts.

Nice to see you again, love our projects and love the yarn you have. You are very ambitious and I like your goals you set, I need to try that.
Hi Barb! Thanks for visiting with me today. I'm definitely either over ambitious .... or crazy. I haven't decided which! :-) ~Katrina

Hi Carlene, thanks for stopping by. I thought the top was very whimsical and although I probably didn't need it, I bought it anyway. :-) ~Katrina
