When it comes to ripping off skin anywhere it tends to be kinda like one of those annoying stickers that you can never get off of things. When it comes to face skin it sticks a bit better so it's just that but harder, so it would most likely come off in chunks then one strip like shown here. However that usually can be ignored for the sake of something looking pleasing in art form. Hope this helps!
