Thank you for this video! I just purchased a 2023 encore GX essence on Tuesday and I am very happy with it. Your video was very helpful in making this decision 🙂
I have owned 2 Buick Envision Essence 2017 and 2020. Love this car... I will miss the Navigation. Most are going to using your personal cell phone. I prefer the navigation and hope there is option to add. What if for some reason your phone gets damaged or lost? You have no navigation.
I like the Encore Gx. If I downsized from my 22 Equinox LT, would purchase a Gx Preferred FWD with the cold weather package. The Encore GX ,has a better visual appearance VS the Chevrolet Trailblazer. Enjoyed your review.
It's not as bad as it sounds. I have a '21 GX with 1.3L and CVT and have no issues getting around town or getting on the freeway. I think 0-60 is around 9 seconds, which is average, but it definitely feels faster since it's so torquey at low and mid RPMs. Thanks to Buick's Quiettuning with ANC, the engine is more muted but still has a nice sound. The CVT is probably a better match for the engine since the gears aren't fixed like the 9-speed. The first time I drove one of these, it was a friend of mine that had one and let me test drive it. At the time, I didn't know the car existed at the time. I fell in love with it and got one for myself. He works at a Buick dealership and has said he hasn't heard of any major problems with these cars. For those that think it's a lot of money to spend, get a lower trim. You can still get one with features to keep you happy for under $30K. I got mine used, but I think it was around $28k when new. I think the GX and even the Trailblazer are worth a test drive no matter which engine you choose.
I bought mine yesterday! Love it so far. Buick is luxury.
Congrats!

Thank you! I like them both but I see your point.
Nice video. Now to compare to Envision
What you meant about the heated steering wheel feature, I did not understand what you ment.
The steering wheel itself is heated just like heated seats. There is a heating element inside the steering wheel that heats it from the inside.
@@CarsMadeSimple wheres the switch at then
Mines missing??
I think im going to return it
Thats kinda of a deal breaker
@@josephbenitez6985 It's only available on the Essence trim of the Encore GX.
@@CarsMadeSimple Well.. Thats upsetting..
Hahahha.. Thank you for the help. I appreciate it !
Bring back the silver !!!!!
1.3l turbo 3 cylinder costing upwards 30k? Seems like a bad deal.

It’s a Buick, not a regular Chevy. It’s near luxury.
Too expensive for what you get.
