    I’m anxious about things that may never happen. I’m anxious about situations I can find myself in. I’m always anxious and it’s driving me insane.

      A good method I learnt through my degree in psychology was to live in the moment. Dont ignore your anxiety, its apart of you, embrace it.

    I deal with this on a daily basis. It's so hard to control some days. My mind has a worst case scenario for every single circumstance in life. Mine comes with college and it's very unrealistic, the things I think of. All of this makes sense to me and I really appreciate the thoughts on it!!

      innocent peach im currently super worried about what could happen in the next 5 months (has to do with a girl) i think its normal but it sucks

      I’m going into my third year of college and am very anxious. I was anxious going into first year, anxious going into second year and now it’s all repeating all over again, to the point where I stress myself out. There are situations where I just don’t want to have to be in, like presentations at uni suck, and I’m the type of person who blushes, I don’t have low self esteem or confidence but I tend to blush unwillingly which causes awkward situations. This anxiety about situations like this is driving me insane.

    Grade 12 almost 2 semester. Applications for University have to be in before January 13th. I graduate in June. And then move off to University. And possibly an audition for Music in the mix. I am freaking out about all of this.

      If the scenario is the most likely to happen, then re-framing the mindset to see it as an opportunity for growth will be helpful. It changes the situation from fearing it to focusing your energy on "what can I do?" and these actions will move you forward

      That means your smart, overthinking is also a sign of deep thinking. why don't you try and prevent death/create a way to have immortality

    hey, i keep worrying about tomorrow for example i had to hang out with my friends then i quickly predict or imagine what if accidents happen it makes me so anxious aaahhh i don't understand

      I feel the same way like I honestly worry if one of my family members is in a bad accident or me, and how? Like the thoughts can't get out of my head I feel panicked all the time

      Thank you for sharing. This is a fairly common experience and the worry about what if scenarios is real. Everyone is different so something to consider is what is the fear in meeting with your friends? For example, being judged by them or not fitting in, could be a common one. From here, then you can move forward knowing what the specific fear is.

    Wrong. The thing I’m having anxiety with is the toxic boss and toxic weekly meetings I have to show up to, so they arent make believe scenarios, it’s reality.

      Thank you for sharing. Yes, that is definitely a real situation. The video was describing how anticipatory anxiety, for example happens before you're in the meeting and your mind can come up with many possible scenarios that "could" happen and therefore creates anxiety. The suggestions were on how to control those scenarios before the event. Hope this clarifies it
