It's darker...but it's also significantly brighter. Sun glare on this map is ridiculous. My main base is 4 ocean platforms and I'm literally blind most of the time. I love that Syntac still does traditional taming of wyverns. Im always too lazy to get milk. I just have a handful of daedons to AOE heal it until it's an adult.
I play single-player so I don't even feed it lol.
I just go to genesis and open loot boxes
Turn off light bloom in settings
Huh, I still get milk too but that's a great idea. Though with boosted taming typically high level wyverns don't need any.

I have spent countless hours searing the lava area wyvern trench. You asked if anyone had seen eggs in those nests, the ONLY section I have found wyvern eggs in there is the enclosed section at the beginning (the south entrance) never found a single egg in the latter half. You may be on to something with the rock drake theory.
I fully support this because I've noticed the same thing.

Im binging this while playing Lost Island myself and I see why people often use you as a good example for ARK, you are both funny, smart, and weird :) You know a lot about the game but you are still relatable as a player and thats nice to find in an ARK UA-camr

Syntac, for your breed settings I actually have some tips, you have been playing for way longer than me but let's see if this helps:
the baby maturity rate can be set up to 10.0 and the imprint down to 0.1, this will allow you to imprint your wyverns when they are close to 70/80% maturity, they will grow fast but you will get the 100% imprint in one go. Things like snow owls, argentavis and such will have their imprint ready at 95% maturity, just in time. You will reach full maturity too early with any dino below that tier, like ptero, raptors and those things. I start my playthroughs with 7.0 (I like to breed pteras or early herbivores) and finish with 9.0 maturity and 0.1 imprint (always at this rate) so I have more time and I think that rate is fast enough to not wait too much.

hey how do I speed the imprint process up it takes like anywhere between 1 to 4 hours for the baby to need imprinting I'm relatively new to breeding and hatching eggs in ark. Especially with wyverns I got my first one yesterday
to anyone how did he make the imprint 50% I play on console is that explains anything
@@sergiogovea4568 my comment was when ark had other parameters in its settings, now that has changed i haven't tested it properly sry :/
You need to find a balance between the speed the baby grows and the time for the imprints. The best is to aim to have a 10/20min grow time and 8/15min time to imprint, so you will get 100% imprint with just one. Remember that every dino has it's own times so the values change if you want to mate Rexes or Ptero. Keep trying until you find a good balance between those values

I would love if the poison wyvern had a setting to disable auto aim. So that it would just shoot where your crosshair points

Gratz on the 222 ice and 228 poison! I haven't found an ice that high yet but got lucky with a couple 228 lightning wyverns.

It's a tie between the lightning and poison wyvern for aesthetics.
I think the tropical crystal or fire wyvern are the best to use.

for the Flags, it depends what direction youre facing. So Facing out from the tower, youre placing the flag inwards vica versa
The "hydra" should be a low-percentage chance of a special mutation if you breed dissimilar wyverns together.
E.g.: A 1% chance of a two-headed hydra (1x lightning and 1x poison) when breeding the two together, then a .5% chance of a three-headed hydra when breeding a two-headed with a one-headed. Max of three heads.
That would be a cool asf mod, I want someone to make that

I think the maps Contrast settings are higher which would make things darker
Low levels will always spawn, but killing them will increase the amount of higher level eggs sit at the cost of slightly more time getting milk. But the odds that you'll be successful at culling the low levels shouldn't affect much.
I found a cave on the volcano island (I haven't watched this video just yet so idk if you have already gone into it), its on the side that has the river in between the grassy area with all the rexes and maewings and the coordinates for one of the entrances is 28.70-71.23

You don't have to give the wyverns milk as comfort food you can pick them up with the soul gun & throw them out & it resets their requirement from milk to either a walk or cuddles after a few tosses. I only tried this on magmasaurs but this might work for wyverns

I would love for you to show off that mammal deal ! On side note I tamed a amargasaurus with a wyrven . I was leading it around when a wyrven attacked gave it kibble in one shot it was tamed I was surprised it worked out that way btw it was a 150

I've always wanted to be able to crossbreed the wyverns, it would make for fun and amusing mutations. (included crystal wyverns)

I bred a load of pteranodons and did the Thick44 wyvern grab method. None of mine have died yet, the biggest issue has been that the wyverns spawn on top and outside the trifecta trench, so eggs don’t spawn properly.

Gratz on the 222 ice 216 and 228! Syntac brother!! mine was 234 some how?? didn't fiddle with settings at all. Got freaking Triplets from it!! not bad stats but could be better, 40-45 in everything. Play hard!! In all honesty I never had a problem with the shading/shadows personally
Those are definitely rock drake nests, I should know because they left them behind in Crystal Isles when they cut out rock drakes from that map for no reason what so ever.
Hello Syntac, you probably already know this but if you have a flier like say white owl as an example set him to follow you can glide/fly across the map without stopping when paired with a sino by flying to almost about of stamina on the flier then jumping from the saddle and gliding on the sino and when your sino needs stamina or hight you can switch to flying and turn around and since your flier is following you the flier should be right behind you and full stamina.

Hey Syn btw there’s not much point knocking out 2 wyverns for milk because you can fully imprint with one bit of milk and with a snow owl you can heal the Wyvern so you don’t have to feed it milk

Another way of raising wyverns rather than using milk, you can use a snow owl to heal it as it grows up.
Names for the wyverns
Lightning one: Zeus
Poison one: Barf
Ice one: Sub-Zero

havent noticed any issues with darkness, oceans sure as hell blinding however. also been having all of my wyverns despawn and never respawning unless i purge wild dinos, quite obnoxious

A year ago, I found a level 145 wyvern egg, but since I did not how to get milk, I just used a daedons healing ability.

I'm pretty sure specifically drakes and reapers will never be added to any other map in the future because it will break progression on aberration.
The reason the trees don't give charcoal is because they'll continue to grow there, so they're probably just coted in Ash
If u want to get an a normal wywren egg just use ice wywer there breth słowa wywerns down for 10 sec do u can run :)
HI, do't know if you tried to look for egs on the northern part of the trench recently, but on our map, the wyvern egs do spawn in the seemingly rock drake nest areas. But they are somewhat broken, as they are bugged into textures, Often only tip of the egg is visible so you need to look really close.
I think poison wyverns need a rework. I think they should have an acid breath attacks that’s like a spray, and then a ball attack like they have now that does torpor in order to give them more utility.
Syntac if you ever look to try out another game sometime you should look into icarus it’s a sweet survival game. It’s a pretty unique session based premise rather than the classic survival game. It kinda feels like escape from tarkov if it were a survival game.
That's a good haul of Wyvern eggs. I tried diving into the area but I only got low level eggs
