The mascot it soooooo cute!! I hope that oneday.. the fishkeeping hobby will be so strong in the USA that we might have towns that are known for certain fish. If I continue my Betta breeding project, I can only hope to have a positive and meaningful impact on the fish..so maybe just maybe I can be known for contributing something like Mitsuharu Fukami did for Goldfish #Goals
Yes ! I think you should do a big indoor high quality betta farm with small ponds ! you are so good at it ! Good for youtube, good for the hobby, good for profit, good for bettas ! Even Highest quality halfmoon or Crowns are sold for prices as low as 5-10 usd in the local market. but shipping to US makes the price go waaay up.
kinda of crazy to think we were both in japan at the same time judging by the release date of the video, i was in Sendai at the time. It was my first time in Japan, absolutely loved it! Hope you're doing well!
I am so happy to see these people like Jennie in the fish community. Everyone knows the top 4 people (tropical) Joey and Rachel, and (goldfish) Jennie and ken from dandy oranda. I feel like there royalty
Wow, the difference between the first place and this place is night and day! So glad that you got to see a much better example of a Japanese goldfish farm.
Oh my jolly ranchers. Such beautiful and graceful tosakin. To have one will be a dream come true for me. The panda shukin are so stinking cute and they were pretty docile.
when you talk about japan you talk about quality.. thank u mam.a month ago u inspired me and taught me how to appreciate beautiful goldfishes that then i bought my 22 goldfishes on my pond...not a quality ones but i love them and theyre cute..i relay on your videos on how to take care and handle them...sad to say i lost 7 fishes due to sudden temp change in our country..too hot in the morning too cold at night...
Mr Fukami breeds some of my favorites types of goldfish, and with top quality. My favorites goldfish and my favorite youtuber in the same video, I really love it!!!
I have to say you look a lot more relaxed with your hair back. And it's not seen much in your videos. It gives a nice down to earth impression and let us know your a normal person just like we the viewers are.
Hey! I've been watching your videos for over a year after adopting a goldfish, you've really helped me understand my goldfishes needs and creating a better quality of life than he had before, thank you so much!
I just want to say I love how much you appreciate the different ways other cultures do things. I'm in the processes of putting my foot in the goldfish world. The past ten years I have spent with cichlids and I have always loved the orandas. I am thinking about getting 2 and putting them in a 75-90 gal tank. What would you Suggest? Really love your channel, never change!
Your videos are delightful and inspiring. They've helped demystify issues and behaviors I've seen in my fish. Recently I've seen my pond based goldfish catching mayflies and other small insects including dime-sized grasshoppers. No wonder they're not interested in fish food! Planning to visit Japan in August and hope to see at least one of the places you visited. Thanks for recording and sharing your experience.
I came across your channel looking for gold fish for a outdoor pond but I learned so much from your channel. so much more to these fish than i ever thought about great channel. your love for the fish really shows through making your channel even all the more better.
What a beautiful farm! Such beautiful and healthy fish. What an amazing experience! Such a contrast from last weeks video. It like this video has soooo much to see but not enough time to show it in. But the quality of the fish were repeated over and over in every pond that you showed us.
Great vid, great fish. However, I must say I wasn't expecting to get turned onto a new music artist. I always love bright, melodic house when I'm at the pool or beach. Thanks for giving credit to the artist and linking to his Soundcloud. You 'aight Jenny!
beautiful lady with endless amounts of goldfish knowledge..my niece got into goldfish because of you even where's her hair lime yours lol she's 11 thank you for being such a good inspiration for her
they are pretty healthy cause the environment they had , plenty of space , lower levels of water also natural light is important , in aquariums are more difficult to get them free of disease cause the lack of space and natural sun light
Idk The timeframe but i remember seeing you visiting another goldfish farm that wasnt as healthy as this one, good to see that this one was healthier/cleaner
I noticed that fish in the farm looked very healthy, even though the ponds didnt look very sterile, had algea grown etc. And your ponds compared to that looked like a first class surgery room in the cleanest hospital. So maybe fish need a bit dirty enviroment to grow, so their immune systems would be trained, and could handle most of the deseases? But of course Jenny know million times more about goldfish keeping than i do, but here is my assumption
Those green water and algae are perfect for gold fish, and exposure to the sun as well are the reasons why these fish look healthy and more vibrant in colour. The theory of keeping gold fish is quite different from the tropical fish. Japanese ranchu for example required low water level less than 30cm and no circulating filter, only sponge filter, change water every one or two day, expose to sun to allow algae grow......
Thanks for your amazing channel!! I enjoy how informative they are about fish keeping!! Watching your videos has got me wanting to have a goldfish tank!!! That is my next endeavor lol!!!
I'm not a fish enthusiast but I must say that those fish are in Prestige shape and colour. By the way I love you videos. I never knew till a few weeks ago that gold fish have teeth and I hope your plans for the fish room is successful.
The Fukami fish farm is a long way from the Yatomi train station at about 5 miles. There may be a way to get closer with the buses but its a long way from the Yatomi city center. If you do visit Yatomi, you'll be pleasantly surprised by the multitude of grow out pools scattered around. The city used to be among the top centers for raising goldfish in Japan but as the industry waned the number of growers has fallen off significantly. There are several fish stores and wholesalers around the city. There was a small one about a mile from the station that featured most varieties of goldfish as well as three Asian arowanas. The truth is that no video can convey the beauty of these fish or the nuance of their motion.
Amazing to see the healthiness of these fish and the good care compared to the first market place :)
Lorn I love you 💏💏💏
Lauren yes these fish are lovely I especially love the ranchu. I keep saying that but it’s so true
Amen to that
Hi Lauren
That was so much more enjoyable not seeing dead and suffering goldies everywhere. You can tell they care. ❤
This was my favorite of your Japan series videos so far! Have you considered trying to get some stock shipped to you from this Goldfish Farm?
That would be really cool!
It would be super if we could order straight from the source, but that would be a very long flight from Japan even here in California.
Isn't that why they use trans-shippers?
The mascot it soooooo cute!! I hope that oneday.. the fishkeeping hobby will be so strong in the USA that we might have towns that are known for certain fish. OMG... I love you creative pet keeping! And I agree, I think that would be so cool.

Jennie, just amazing. Thank you for filming these things for everyone to enjoy! So happy for your success.
I feel like when I go to that place there's a 99.9% chance that I'll fall in (at least) one of the pond.
Oh my god same!!!
I am so happy to see these people like Jennie in the fish community. Everyone knows the top 4 people (tropical) Joey and Rachel, and (goldfish) Jennie and ken from dandy oranda. I feel like there royalty
Poor soul
Diana why
Diana yes, why
Wow! What a refreshing difference from the other location. These fish look so much happier, healthier, and well taken care of!!
By far, the best episode in the series so far!!
Wow, the difference between the first place and this place is night and day! So glad that you got to see a much better example of a Japanese goldfish farm.

I have a baby Ranchu. She is going into our outdoor pond after winter so for now she's in my room. Do much fun to interact with.
I could listen to u all day talking about gold fish ❤ Lovely
The panda shukin and red/white jikin looked so amazing and beautiful! If only they were available in the states...
Jonathan Banh Check out Youtber Bo Zhao the owner of Zhao’s Fancies he owns and runs a very reputable Goldfish Farm right here in the US in Georgia.
This actually gives me another reason why I want to visit Japan.
That's so awesome! I'm glad the people in this place actually cared about the health of their fish. They all looked so beautiful and happy :)
Great video again!
This was a awesome video Jennifer! So awesome! You were on Japanese TV!
*Keep up the good work and thumbs up!*
I was so happy to see that the fish appear healthy and are in good care! They're all gorgeous!
Sooo much better than the other place with the 70 year old pickled fish. Glad this was a more positive experience for you.
❤️ to see them thrive in the shallow water! I had mine in a pond canvas too instead of a typical aquarium.
This is a good farm, the fish are taken much better care than the other farm you visited.
These fish look much better kept. I am glad you got to experience this trip!
That was a wonderful fish farm, gorgeous specimens! I'm surprised you didn't try to sneak off with a few "samples." ;-)

Wow, seeing this video in a whole new light after your most recent video on ethics of breeding fancy goldfish. Especially the Jikin.
Wow these goldfish look so happy and healthy!! Thank you so much for sharing this video with us....You are so lucky to have experienced this 💜💜💜💜💜
9:30 those "shukins" look cool! I've always hated how ranchus have short tails.
Awesome! Been looking forward to your video! Thanks for sharing your trip with us.
Such an amazing experience! The black and whites are my fav so far

So cute and beautiful Ranchu Goldfish
Very very love them all 😍

Бек Шейхзаде I feel maybe if the water is more unnatural and more like artificial it's not good...just my guess
I'm Japanese. I agree with you. Slightly, those who are not nervous will grow stronger. My goldfish who keeps outside knows no illness.

I heard that green water is really good for goldfish.
Thanks Jenny!!

I'm not a fish enthusiast but I must say that those fish are in Prestige shape and colour. By the way I love you videos. I never knew till a few weeks ago that gold fish have teeth and I hope your plans for the fish room is successful.
So gorgeous! You have inspired me to start my own goldfish tank!
Amazing video my favrite video of japan so far keep up the great work
