Killing Eve might've ended, but there is no way in hell I'm going to let go of this one. Thanks to the show and Jodie Comer, Villanelle has became one of my all time favorite characters, who I have connected with in so many different ways. I never imagined I would find representation in someone, who was known to be a "psychopath" and a ruthless assassin. But here I am, relating to her and seeing parts of myself in this character. It's a shame the show disrespected her by giving one of the shittiest death's ever, but don't worry, I've got a better ending created specifically for her ♥
We might've lived through her for the past four years, but now she will be living on through us, instead.

It makes me want to cry, seeing Villanelle's progress like this, seeing how much she tried to change, how much Eve made her feel, for the writers to give her that ending... It breaks my heart, I can't help it 😔😭

Laura Neal had the perfect opportunity to make history. To not do what's been done a million times. Just imagine if she had the imagination to allow Villanelle to survive. To let Eve save Villanelle. To let us see Eve and Villanelle on a train or bus or plane destination unknown. Together, in love with Carolyn believing they're dead. I'm not saying happily ever after but just give them the chance. Eve and Villanelle cautiously looking over their shoulder but they're happy, in love and THE END.
But she couldn't do it. Making it worse she believes Eve with her ending will finally have a amazing life free of Villanelle and all the drama. She's clearly insane. Too bad for us 😭
@@denise435 What Laura Neal did is incomprehensible, she not only gave us a horrible ending but a whole season with no meaning, ignoring the previous seasons, even things she co-wrote in season 3, she didn't understand the characters and ruined the relationship between Eve and Villanelle. Because honestly at this point I can't even say with conviction that Villanelle had love before she died because Eve really was cruel to her the entire season and showed nothing but wanting to use her. That's not the Eve we knew and loved, the Eve who had shown feelings for Villanelle and acceptance in the previous season finale. If I enjoyed the scenes of them together it was because the previous seasons made me want it so much and because of Jodie and Sandra's performances and their incredible chemistry. But not because of the script since there was no development of their relationship and there is no other way than to assume that the writers simply did not want to explore their relationship at all, either because of laziness or fear or not knowing what to do. I don't know, I just know that I will never forgive them for ruining my favorite series and the fictional relationship that I loved the most.
@@AGLadyBird Yeah in the back of my head, I always think Eve just used Villanelle. 😭 Thats not the Eve which saved V in S2 or only could think of her in S3. Such a bullshit season.
@@LittleSkyful It sucks, I try to convince myself that it's not like that, that they loved each other and had to be together but it's hard when I look back on this season, I wish the series had ended in the third 😔

This edit made me feel so much😭 Villanelle really does change after the hell she went through. The trauma from childhood. The endless killings as her only way to survive. The constant lies and rejections from people she cares. The struggle for recognition and love. Thank you for an alternative ending. It certainly makes me feel better. but I'm still pretty sad that nobody ever stay with her watching a movie.

Absolutely brilliant work. Jodie Comer is clearly the preeminent actor of her generation. I seriously cannot think of anyone else who could bring Villanelle-one of the most iconic characters in episodic television history-to life. Your tribute does them both justice.

Brilliant, once again. A beautiful story, hard, often violent, surprisingly tender and gentle at times. A complex character as we rarely see, played by a talented actress who knew how to give her soul and depth.

What this stunning footage unveils is how much Villanelle was let down, repeatedly, by the people around her. And her attempts to push back against all that she was turned into. Yes, I said it. ‘Turned into’. There were traits. But they were exploited. To see her only as a duplicitous killing machine, is to only see the surface.
Absolutely agree with you. V said it best when she said “if I killed everyone who ever betrayed me, there would be no one left”. 💔

This is BY FAR the most amazing video ever done about Villanelle. It has the essence of the character, her struggles and all the details about her journey. It's sad what the writers did to her, but it's also a privilege to witness such a great and complex character, so amazingly brought to life by Jodie.

another masterpiece! Villanelle is such a very complicated character and Jodie Comer nailed it without a single lack. The expression she gives for what villanelle shows in TV is brilliant, very brilliant. The first time i saw this series, I knew that Jodie Comer will be HIT, No doubt! and my friend once said I wasn't a fan of jodie's but villanelle's and it's because Jodie's act that make villanelle is the best character in TV series until now!

I was thinking I was over it but no...
For 30 years of my life I watch and read many fiction stories, but another character got me so deep like that.
On the road of change from killing machine to someone better, inspired by love, she meets death. Just got a few hours of happiness.
God! I don't know who write this end, but this person is absolutely heartless.
Sometimes life is truly that cruel. I speak from experience, though I still despise the official ending she was given.

Did you really think SHE, our iconic Villanelle, would go out like THAT?
@@Infinitex I still have mixed feelings about her death.
I must admit - the drowning scene was glorious. Bloody wings and almost celestial light, slow and calm descend, weightless, angel like creature, who we all fell in love with.
She fulfilled all her dreams: 12 are dead, the woman she loved kissed her and made love to her, and she even saved her life.
I am sure, when she stands there in blue light, or later, when she watches Eve on a dance floor she had this feeling “if I die now, I would not regret anything, life if fulfilled. Old days are over!”
And to be honest - who of us doesn’t know that there is no such thing as “they lived happily ever after”. Cause relationships are “a lot”. They would “consume each other” (Eve knows what she’s talking about)
So death of Villanelle is great way out for her character.
On the other hand I hate how this ending was too, as people say, “lazy written”, too simple and too fast. After 32 episodes everything is over in few minutes. Kiss, kill, death of V (literal), death of E (figurative) shocking betrayal. The end.
That what is so annoying (for me). And yes - I didn’t expect her going like THAT - anonymised shot from the back. After all the deadly adventures she’s been through.
Still, I love your ending!
Lol - when I saw backstage pictures with underwater scenes with scuba divers approaching villanelle, at first I thought i was from new season 😅 I thought Carolyn planned it and saved V to use her as an assassin in her own interest. But she had to separate them with Eve for good…
Maybe it will be a bit harsh but my favorite part is especially the part where Helene and Dasha talk about Villanelle. Chaos disrupts, giving wings, beautiful monster... Damn. I love her! with so much detail, beautiful edit!

This actually breaks my heart.... Villanelle was indeed so many things beautiful things and she was used by so many people when all she even needed but never got was love... I'm sure that the original story wasn't supposed to end in this way, therefore I'm not accepting the "ending" we got.
It doesn't align with the show or Villanelle. She deserves so much more and we all know that.
She's ours now so let's love and respect her the way she deserves and create a different ending in our own way ♥
