Injection moulding is used to create many things such as wire spools, packaging, bottle caps, automotive parts and components, toys, pocket combs, some musical instruments, one-piece chairs and small tables, storage containers, mechanical parts like gears and most other plastic products available today. Injection moulding is the most common modern method of manufacturing plastic parts; it is ideal for producing high volumes of the same object.
    -Compression moulding
Compression molding is used with thermosetting plastics. The thermoset plastic material may be in free-flowing granular form or a viscous material. The material is placed in a hot mold, and the mold is closed by a hydraulic press. A typical compression molding process is performed at a mold temperature of 350°F and mold pressure of 100 psi with curing time of 3-3.5 min. After the material is cured, the mold is opened and the plastic package is pushed out. Compression molding is a low cost process and is capable of high volume production.
    -Blow moulding
Blow molding is a manufacturing process for forming and joining together hollow plastic parts. It is also used for forming glass bottles or other hollow shapes. The parison is then clamped into a mold and air is blown into it. The air pressure then pushes the plastic out to match the mold.
    -Extrusion
Extrusion is a metal forming process in which metal or work piece is forced to flow through a die to reduce its cross section or convert it into desire shape. This process is extensively used in pipes and steel rods manufacturing. The force used to extrude the work piece is compressive in nature
