No one is perfect. We all give in to sin at times. But there's hope for each one of us.
I don't give in to sin. That's not Biblical at all. We have the Holy Spirit to keep us or help us and strengthen us against giving into sin.

I don't think men have a CLUE how badly it crushes women to find out your husband is addicted to this stuff. Because it's become SO pervasive and ACCEPTED by culture, men in general see no problem with it. They don't know just how destructive it is to marriages and families. Not to mention what it does to the women in the "industry". Not all, but many of them have been trafficked and forced into doing it.
I think Christian men know they are committing adultery in their heart sooner or later as God convicts them.
Men know, and an entire generation of younger guys are trying their hardest to get free. They are forming support groups and creating encouraging content. And they're still struggling and imperfect bc it's hard and it's right there at all times
Many marriages struggle with this problem. It looks different for everyone, but it can destroy a marriage, a relationship, and the people involved. Jesus saves those who ask though!

One important thing to note is that in Matthew 19:9, the original Greek word used for “sexual immorality” is porneia. That word was used to describe the physical act of extramarital intercourse. This is an important distinction because everyone is sinful and commit acts of lust and adultery in his/her heart. Having lustful thoughts, while a sin and is “sexual immoral”, is not a justifiable reason for Biblical divorce. Otherwise any type of lust would be a cause for divorce.
There is a further explanation that in the jewish culture some say Jesus was referring to cheating duriing the engagement not for someone who was married. If you committed adultry you would be killed and the person you cheated with. I don't think they enforced that all the time. The visual stuff is an offense to god and the spouse but divorce with remarriage is not an option because Christ changed the law in matthew WHEN HE SAID But I TELL YOU NOW. Divorce was so easy because of the peoples hearts where cold and you can say I divorce you three times and it was over.Some woman use the verse to divorce people but as Heidi said you should forgive as christ forgives.
The thing with porn is one is usually doing a physically sexual act it’s no different than one catching there spouse looking through the neighbors window Doing stuff to themselves
Longing to do something in your heart is the same as having committed it in the eyes of the Lord. It's one thing to slip into a lustful thought, recognize it, and immediately ask the Father for forgiveness and help to not do it again. Its another thing entirely to dwell on the thought and entertain it in your mind. We're to meditate on God's Word, not sinful actions and and ways to commit them.
The word porneia is used here and in Acts to describe the sin of incest. This question from the Pharisees was brought to Jesus to trick him into speaking out against Herod's incestuous relationship.
Jesus said if you lust in your heart, you have committed adultery.
I can relate, all of the men in my life have been porn watchers. I consider porn cheating and have been judged as crazy and jealous by my in-laws, boyfriends, and strangers. People will attack you if you condemn their sin, especially if it's socially acceptable like this one. Many women will accept this type of adultry because society has molded them to believe it's healthy, acceptable, better than actually going out, and committing the act. It makes me sad that women, someone's daughter, subjects themselves to the lust of men for acceptance, value, and money.
They attack you because many of those same people are watching porn themselves or have those they know watching it. Meaning if watching porn is cheating there own spouse is technically cheating on them wich brings them on the defense because they don’t want to face reality.

I don't know how kids are growing up like this. I have a good friend whos an MD and her 11 year old boy has never been talked to about porn and he has an iphone 12 - and she doesn't monitor it AT ALL. I'm an atheist but i enjoy this channel from time to time but this topic needs seriously addressed.

There needs to be a stop to the porn (Which will never happen, because of lust and greed) (principalities and powers) and an understanding about what it does to your family. Although the Enuma Elisha and other records may be older copies, they are corruptions of the original accounts inspired by God and transmitted orally until the Hebrew scriptures were recorded. An older copy does not not necessarily indicate an older source.
